Installed on a 3770k with ASUS P8Z77-V Pro. RAM cleared the cooler easily...the design is asymmetric so fitment was really a non issue on this motherboard. It does however block my first PCIx1 slot.Installation was very easy, but you do need to get to the back of the mobo for install. Temps are in the 25-30C range at stock speeds idle (ambient of 20C, fan speed set to 600ishrpm) and full load temps get into the low 60's with still very low fan speeds. It cools very well. The included fan is nice and silent as well, and PWM controllable which is very nice. If I pushed the fan speeds up a bit full load temps drop to low 50's and idle temps drop to very close to ambient. I'm very glad I didn't pay double to get an integrated water cooling solution, there's no way it would've been quieter than this.

I was running Core-I7-2600K equipped with stock cooler, and recently (about a year after I built it) the CPU temperature would jump to 70 Celsius whenever I used it to heavily. It got to the point that the computer would constantly crash. After troubleshooting the issue (I did not have this issue for a year just started suddenly now) and decided to buy a better cooler. And this one that I chose, after spending couple of hours of research online.To compare, stock cooler was running my CPU at about 45 to 50 Celsius while idle. When I got this when I was expecting that it will take me just below 40, but it actually took me down all the way below 30. In other words I got 15 to 20° differential, which is awesome.I do not know what temperature it runs under load, but I run it for more than eight hours while using Intel burn in test with the maximum settings for my computer. Also I ran my computer for 48 hours with almost 100% CPU utilization with no problems. And currently I am overclocking with this cooler.This cooler is awesome for its price.

This heatsink is massive (make sure it will fit). I couldn't use my first DIMM slot, and had to use 2 and 4 with the 140mm fan installed. I installed it on my AMD FX-8350 and ran it passively at first without the fan and it didn't get too hot. Performance with the included fan installed is incredible. I don't break 50-55C overclocked at 4.9GHz, and the fan is practically silent. Well worth the $$$, and a lot easier to deal with than more expensive water cooling.

All of the screw nuts, screw pillars, and both sizes of screws were missing. Make sure you check for all the parts as soon as you open the packaging. Amazon is going to send me a replacement, but this still greatly lowers my opinion of ThermalRight because of the lost time on a time-sensitive system build.

this thing is awesome, however you need to pay attention to the size. If you have a motherboard that supports 64 GB of RAM, you might have problems fitting this device without heavy modding it.

I used this for a silent build including the Silverstone ft 03 case, i5 3570 K, rosewill fanless power supply, gigabyte ga z77mx d3h. Originally going to get the Nofan fanless cooler . Glad I went with this. Half the price, and silent. At 1100 rpm (running prime 95), ramped up, you can barely it. This is sitting on my desk, 2 feet away. would recommend without hesitation. Idle temperature is 25 degrees.
