I am super happy with this product. It is well packaged, includes clear instructions, an unexpected dongle/splitter, and fits seamlessly into my Tesla Model Three interior.
All I had to do is slide out the mat that is included with this car, plug in the pad and done! I did use the included splitter to support my Passport SSD for sentry mode. Sentry mode works as expected with this configuration.
So far, I highly recommend this product!

I've tried every combination using the splitter to use the charger and the USB drive for Sentry mode and without luck. I need to unplug one of the ports. To make matters even more frustrating, my wife's phone doesn't have qi charging so we need to use a standard power cable so I wanted to use only one of the charging pads but that still doesn't work.
I say it's probably better to go with something certified or available through Tesla. It's pretty obvious that the 5 star reviews are not real given the closeness in timeframe when they were all given.

Very east to install but only charges my phone sometimes. If it doesn't work on the left side, I then try the right. If that doesn't work, then I rotate my phone upside down and then that usually works, but not always. I have a Galaxy S9+

The charging is super slow on both my iPhone 8 and X. It does not even keep up with battery use if you use the phone while driving. I recently drove from LA to Palm Springs (2.5 hours). I left LA with 12% battery. I used my phone for two quick calls (less than 5 min each) and arrived in PS with 27% battery. I expected it to be full. My commute home is 35 minutes. I get maybe 3 to 5% increase in battery life if I do not use the phone.

This product does the job for a fraction of the price. Our product was bent from delivering and the seller was able to provide replacement in a short window.
The design of the phone stand is a bit on the smaller side. It fits my phone perfectly because I just have a clear case. However, my husband’s phone will slide down during driving due to the thick case.
This item does come with a USB splitter so we can still use the dashcam!

I got this as a gift for a family member. The absolutely love it. It was very easy to install and it comes with a USB splitter so you don't take up both ports to charge the charger and they can continue to use the sentry feature with the other usb port free.

Love the Taptes wireless charger. Installation was very easy. They provide some double-sided adhesive to better secure it, so it doesn’t vibrate up and down during driving. My IPhone XS and 8 fit right on top of the surface. The light indicators for charging are nice. Shows when the charge is full for your phone. The surface of the charger is perfect for keeping the phones in place during driving. Great product.

Overall, nice product. Looks great, and fits well. LED charging indicator is nice. Only issue is the two adhesive pieces of tape that come with it to secure it are worthless, too thin to hold it down and it moves around. I used thin foam double-sided tape I had left over from another project to secure it. Good to go after that. Also, it does not come with a USB splitter, so if you want to use the other USB slot for Dashcam/Sentry you're out of luck unless you supply your own splitter if you want to charge two phones at once.

Looks "stock" with the car and accommodates larger phones with cases on too. (e.g. iphone +'s). Installation took maybe 10sec. Great product.

Easy to install and works pretty well. This isn't fast charging wireless however. Nothing to really hold in place but a way too thin peace of double sided tape. Seems like they should have indents in the back that fits in the receptors that Tesla provided. I'll probably use some thicker double sided tape to keep it in place.

I purchased a Nomad charger for 135$ delivered. It's a great high quality product but it is rather expensive. When I needed another wireless charger for my second TM3, I couldn't bring myself to pay so much money again so I started trying different product. This TapTes charger is by far the best out of the generic wireless chargers for the Tesla model 3. It has a rubber coating that prevents the phone from slipping and has been very reliable thus far.

Wireless charging on it is pretty standard, I love having it in my Tesla. I've had a couple issues with it though. The coil area seems a bit small. I have a Galaxy S8 which is not a huge phone but it needs to sit at a very specific spot right next to the divider to get a charge, this is without a case.
I've also had issue with the separate data cable that is split off, it does not seem to have transfer/write speeds quick enough for my USB drive and the dash cam functionality with the car. I have to leave at least one USB port open for the drive and plug the charger in the other spot.

Well I have a iPhone X and iPhone 7plus. In the packaging it states it doesn’t work with the iPhone 6 but to my surprise is doesn’t work for the iPhone 7plus

I am happy with the purchase, the product works as advertised. It was pretty easy to install, fits reasonable well, charges reasonably good (not sure about the Power output the phone receives). I don't have another product to compare with.

* Great customer service
Cons:

My TapTes model 3 charger came with two USB splitters. The charging pad replaces the rubber piece that is in your Model 3 console to hold phones. It is pretty well held in place by the sliding piece that is part of the console, but it also comes with two adhesive pads to help hold it in place. Each splitter has a data side and a power-only side. The charger should go to the power-only side, leaving the data side available for dash cam or music, etc.
There are two chargers (left and right) each with their own cable. You can plug in both, or only one, if you only need one. There are two small yellow lights which will light when a phone is charging on that side.
I had a piece of metal in my phone case to use with a magnetic mount in my other car. Fortunately, I had attached the metal plate to the case, not the phone. So, I bought another case. I put the magnetic-mount case in the other car so I can switch to that if needed.
This seems to work fine with my iPhone 11 Pro. The photo shows everything that was received.

This charger works great and perfectly matches the Model 3 interior. It looks like it came with the car once you have it installed.
It comes with adhesive to mount the panel to the car, but I have had mine for months just sitting in the phone area and it has been solid. Doesn't move or make any noise even though it's not actually stuck to the car. The install quite literally takes less than one minute. Remove the stock rubber piece, feed the cables through and install the new charger, and plug them into the USB port below. Done!
It's nice to just be in the habit of sitting my phone in this area anyways, and now I get a good amount of charge back even on short trips. On longer trips I leave it there and the phone is pretty much always at 100% whenever I get to where I'm going.
It's also nice that it includes the two-way splitter so you can plug both of the cables into a single USB port in the front of the car. This allows you to leave your flash drive installed in the other USB port for use with Tesla Cam functions (dash cam/sentry mode). My only small complaint is I don't know why they didn't just build the splitter into the unit itself. That would have eliminated the need to have two separate cables and the splitter device in the center console area.
Overall this is a great charger and a must have accessory for your Model 3. The stock charging setup with the cable at the bottom is a pain to use, especially if you have a case on your phone. This makes the whole thing effortless and you'll charge your phone much more often since you don't have to mess with it. I don't see any reason why you would buy the OEM charger compared to this, especially when you see the price difference.

This was very easy to install and worked right away, however, I'm disappointed at how slowly it charges. I have an iPhone X. If I have an app like Waze running, it charges more slowly than the phone burns the power. So I'll get to my location and the phone is less or equal charge as when I departed. If I have a long drive, I still use the USB cable. So it's not great, but it works.

I got this and worked great on my Samsung Galaxy and iPhone. About a month later it stopped charging my iPhone. I tried both sides and verified all connections/cables. The Samsung does still charge.
If anyone knows how to fix this...let me know ...

I bought another wireless pad for my Tesla Model 3 but had to return it because of charging issues and the unit running quite hot.
Pros:
- This is thick-case friendly! I'm able to charge my iPhone XS Max using a sliding case that holds 2-3 credit cards/IDs (Samonpow case)
- The overheating protection seems to work well - my phone doesn't feel as hot compared to the first unit I bought
- Install was easy and I didn't have to use the double sided tape to keep it in place
- The color of the unit matches well with the matte black of the surrounding areas, ie: armrest, interior etc. I've installed a deep matte black vinyl wrap for my center console and this matches the color perfectly - uniformed and simple look.
Cons: NONE (Maybe they could've added another USB splitter?)
Would also like to mention that it doesn't provide fast charging with the current configuration unless you connect this to a Q-charger plugged into the cigarette port. I don't want to run a USB cord and make the console area messy looking just to get that extra boost of charge - I'm ok with the simplicity.
Buy this already! You won't regret it.

It barely charges my phone. On my 30 minute commute to work I may get a few % additional charge, but have an app running like Waze and this thing can’t charge your phone. Very disappointed

I have an IPhone XS Max. It charges about 30% of the time. I have to move it from one side to the other to work. But it’ll only charge for a few minutes the flashes blinking red indicating that it’s not charging.
