We love him. Great product solid well made. Sven doesn't do loads and I would suggest watch a YouTube video before buying so you know what he does.

Doesnt talk, not many of them seem to!! Fake??? Some people saying its not meant to say phrases, it is and there is no demo mode button only on or off on a lot of theses (smyths, selfridges and hamleys had on, off and demo still made no difference) I have tired 14 of these from argos, amazon, smyths, selfridges and hamleys and out of 14 only found one which said the phrases as it is meant to and this was a shop floor model. The stores were surprised too. If you look on the underside it says 'Amazon' or 'argos' depending on where you purchased it so they are manufactured differently, some are boxed fully assembled some are not. Even the manufacturers can not explain yet why so many are no saying the phrases they should. He is meant to say 'give me and snack' 'please'
UPDATE: two different versions made one for the USA and one for Europe, product descriptions and TV as did not reflect this, the Europe one does not talk. Ordered one from America and he does talk.

Dreadful do not buy!
I returned the first one thinking it was faulty as did not speak to have a second one that does not speak. Does it speak? Who knows! Amazon couldn’t tell me.
It’s cheaply made and my little girl tossed it to one side within minutes. Not what she had been hoping for. I only kept it as it was what she wanted on her Christmas list. I would say avoid, don’t waste your money and persuade your child to have something different. It’s one bit disappointment.

Very upset little girl as she opened this on Christmas Day! We put him together and she was so excited but he doesn’t do many noises and the one of him speaking in Kristoffs voice definitely don’t happen! His back left leg kept coming off whenever moved which was unsafe for her to sit on him as he kept tipping! The battery’s wouldn’t stay in as the bolt to keep the screw in to keep the battery’s in place had come off and gone inside Sven so all in all extremely annoyed and upset as this was her main present and she then had to look at him all day without being able to really play with him! She had also been on one in John Lewis which worked absolutely fine so she was so disappointed that he didn’t make the same noises and as how quiet he was!

Not worth the £119 I paid. The fur is nothing like the picture (very flat) The noises aren't very loud and very same'y. Antlers very hard to attach. My grandaughter will love it tho.

Stands roughly 4 foot tall and comfortably supports my 6 stone son. Noises are abit lacking, would've hoped for the voice Christophe does when singing with Sven. The sheer size of the toy makes it worth around 50-60 mark

Not great , on our third one it still doesn't say the phrases and poorly made ....... Only keeping it as the visual impact will be worth it for the kids but it's pretty rubbish and more hassle than its worth .

Should of read reviews properly. It doesn't talk it's just a large ornament I wouldn't buy again definitely not worth the money

Love the size, but to be perfectly honest it’s bloody pointless though the kids love it. It doesn’t move and rather bulky and the odd sounds from it are very quiet. It’s just used as a climbing frame the odd day in our house now that the novelty of feeding Sven his carrot has worn off and it’s standing in the corner of the room

My little loved this that she got for her third birthday. I’m pleased it was half price at time as I wouldn’t say it’s worth the real retail price. It’s a shame they can ride him across the room they can only sit on him

over priced even at reduced cost would have sent back but granddaughter would have been disappointed. It only makes munching and galloping noises no words are spoken like in the film would not recommend

It doesn't talk like claimed, just makes reindeer noises. Back legs didn't fit on particularly well.

Luckily got this on sale.. Looks good but no where near what is advertised in way of talking and interacting.. Little girl likes it but not the best by a long way..
