- + качество сборки отличное
Прорезиненные ножки топ, в карту можно вставлять одной рукой джек и она не поедет по столу
Крутилки тугие, приятные
Драйвера фирменные, одни из лучших на рынке (да, не идеал, но идеальных драйверов не существует к звуковым картам сейчас)
В комплекте идет кубейс лайт (только 4 эффекта навесить можно), мне идеально так как для гитары юзаю только неурал DSP + Libra (для IR) - - Не вытягивает жирные уши (150+ Ом) на должную громкость. Мне не критично так как сижу с AKG K712 PRO (62 Ома), но кому то может быть критично

While searching for an Audio Interface this UR28M from Steinberg totally got my attention for its design which I found both practical and pretty. I am a home recording artist and would like to have the least gear as possible to make things happen, and ths interface had some presets all in one, like its multi output channels for three sets of monitors or 5.1 if you like, it comes with phantom power and you can insert up to two condenser mics at the same time (the input allows you to connect the typical guitar jack and XLR)with different knobs for volume control, plus it has two other inputs for the typical guitar jack (i.e: keyboard) letting you record in multi track with this four inputs. The fact that it allowed 2 headphones with different knob controllers was perhaps one of the stats that I liked most, since sometimes working with singers or classical musicians I prefer not to record while using a metronome but to be the director instead since I record my own music, so this easy going interface makes it perfectly confortable by letting me hear whats going on in the mix so I con conduct and give all of this hand directions to the player who is in front of me. In the box it comes with two insert effects from yamaha: a nice reberb and a compressor which are both of my taste. Audio cuality is superb, and the interface has a stand-alone option if you want to use it as a mixer and use this two effects as they come as hardware too inside the interface (you have to pre program them in the pc first with a software thats incorporated and it will remember the settings even once you turn it off). Overall, just nice comments from my part I really loved this interface.

Well beforehand, I researched interfaces vs. what I needed for about 2 weeks before deciding on the UR28m. As soon as I saw a sale price I had to have it. I was definitely glad when this arrived at my door. I spent all weekend playing with this bad boy! Setting it up was pretty basic, and I was recording just a few minutes after that.The features that I like on this interface include:- Knobs were well placed and not cramped like other interfaces I have seen(plus it has a large monitor volume knob which is great!)- The exterior is well constructed and will certainly last as long as I will need it (I take care of all of my equipment anyway)- Fantom power was a must because I have it powering a Rode NT2A mic (picks up excellent vocals so far)- Has a Hi-Z button to power my Fender bass- Has 2 headphone outputs (great when I have an artist recording, I can send a separate mix to their phones)- Has 3 button to instantly switch monitors (when I mix I use a set of Rockit RP8's and PA speakers to test bass)- Since I use Cubase, this is a no brainer (perfect integration)So if you are on the fence just do your homework and figure out what's best for you. Great for home recording at a mid-range price (don't skimp on the interface if you want quality recordings). This is my first Steinberg hardware purchase and I'm more than pleased with the results.

Okay people...seriously...let's be real here. If you buy this product (which I have bought this from Amazon) you will not be disapointed. This product is fool proof and I am just starting out setting up my studio. Cubase AI 5 will walk you through the program in its entirety and teach you how to use Cubase to its entirety. The CI2+ itself is very thick plastic cased (which alot of people perfer the metal casing), but it is very durable, heavy, and made with the kind of quality that Yamaha always delivers. All in all, one of the best and more reasonable items I have bought for my studio.As far as registration is concerned...THIS WAS NO DIFFERENT FROM NATIVE INSTRUMENTS!!! The ONLY difference is the eLicenser. You install the products to your computer, create an account at MySteinberg.com, install the eLicenser software, type in the activation code into the eLicenser/SorLicenser, REGISTER your eLicenser/SofLicenser on MySteinberg.com, and it will REGISTER the Cubase AI5 because it was registered on your eLicenser. REGISTER you CI2+ at the same time MANUALLY!!! Then click on ACTIVATION/REACTIVATION and click Cubase AI5, it will ask you some questions, like what product you recieved Cubase AI5 with, choose CI2+, and then type in the CI2+'s serial number on the bottom of the unit. This will give you a PERMANENT LICENSE (ACTIVATION #), type that into the eLicenser and Register your eLicenser again. Finished...Everything you need is provided to you in this package and it has very DETAILED DIRECTIONS WHEN YOU BUY THE PRODUCT!!!Customer Service with Steinberg was GREAT for me. I wrote them and asked about the Activation process before I even purchased the item. Jeff Deno wrote me in like 3 days, and after that first initial 3 day wait from him...would respond to my emails within 20 minutes. Great experience!!!The only bad thing I am going to criticize is it is expensive to upgrade to Cubase 6...but I would recommend that you use it the way it is (if your budget is like mine) and upgrade at a later time.

The product is legit, it is just a pain in the a$$! The Sequel Software (which doesn't appear to be the FULL version?) makes me want to shoot myself in the face... Definitely not a product for computer illiterate individuals! I feel like I need a college degree in computer engineering before I could ever understand this crap...Haven't given up yet though. I'll keep you posted if it gets easier...

This unit is simply okay. If you need it as a way to record some ideas that you'll later take into a proper studio, this may work.I found that this unit distorts the signal at a fairly low level, generally at about 75% volume. This might be acceptable if the distortion were pleasing, but it is not. It is a fully digital distortion with no real use. My old ART tube preamp was a much better audio interface than this device.

I upgraded the Steinberg CI2 to this product, and the sound is fantastic. It sometimes takes work to configure using the included Cubase, but that's some powerful software.I get many many hours of enjoyment recording using this thing. It's hard for me to believe what you get here for the price.

This is a nice starter audio interface (AI). I only record two or three tracks at a time, so this AI is works great for me. I am giving this unit 4 starts because it does not have MIDI in/out.

Shipping was prompt, in which thats always a plus. Had to download the latest drivers to be compatible with IOSX Lion. So if your planning on using this with a Mac, the software included doesn't contain the latest drivers. After doing a little searching for the latest drivers, & downloading them, I was on my way to recording. Works great with Garage Band. Recordings are crystal clear! Great for doing a little mobile recording. I'd buy it again in a heart beat!

With the right computer, this box can actually turn some good results. Im using a 2011 macbook pro with logic, and Ive got the latency to 9.5ms which is not noticeable to me. If you have the option to, always go with a firewire interface but if you only have USB or your fireiwre is being used, this is not too shabby, especially at this price.

This might be a good entry level interface for light recording. I managed to record an acceptable demo with it in Audacity. Once I started upgrading gear I realized how inferior this unit is in terms of the preamps and quality of a/d d/a conversion. I think the best thing about it is its ease of use. Very simple, no frills. If someone asked me to recommend this unit I would suggest getting something like a Focusrite interface instead. If you're willing to break a little more bread go for the Apogee Duet or the RME Babyface. I have the Babyface and it smokes the Cl1 in every possible way. Definitely worth the extra dough.

Bought this product and installed the Soquel LE that came with it. However, it tells me I need a license number to use it, but no license number was included in the packaging! (Yes, I looked). I figure no one else had this problem. I want to keep the product but because I bought the product on Amazon, there is no easy customer support. Amazon makes it difficult to find.The product could be great, I just can't use it because I have no license for it.UPDATE - I was finally able to get the license. It took several days of back and forth emails with the company - they ask one question and then when you answer it takes another day for them to get back to you. If they would have called we could have done it in 10 minutes. Product is 4 stars. But new product support is 1 star. Together 2.5 stars.

quality of the unit is okay, a bit cheap feeling though.the drivers failed on my pc so I never got to try it out.Steinberg and Yamaha both offered to help resolve the issue but I choseto keep using my Lexicon Lambda over this.the included software is total junk to me.. more for beginners and notreally directed toward a musician recording multiple instrument tracks.I put it up on craigslist for $50 and haven't got one email :P

I purchased the CI1 after doing extensive research in my search for a USB audio interface in the $100 range. The CI1 does everything it's supposed to, and had the features I was looking for, including phantom power, direct input monitoring, 2 in/2 out, and 24 bit resolution. (Note - the CI1 is limited to 48k.)To my ears, the preamps sound good, and recorded audio sounds a little better than what I was getting out of my onboard audio (recording at 16/44k - so not sure if that's due to better hardware, or just more bit depth).Unfortunately, I'm a bit disappointed with the CI1's latency. Simple projects (less than 8 tracks) in Ableton or Cubase have latencies in the 5-10ms range. With larger projects running multiple plug-ins, I'm up to latencies of 20ms+. I'm running a laptop with Intel Core 2 Dual CPU 1.5Ghz with 1GB RAM. I'm almost able to achieve comparable latencies using ASIO4ALL with my onboard audio.Also, the Ploytec USB Audio driver does not work with this interface.I'd classify this as a good interface for someone who likes to tinker around with recording, but it might not necessarily be the best choice for a serious recording enthusiast. I don't regret my purchase, but I might have spent a bit more to get lower latency (or an interface compatible with the Ploytec driver) if I'd known what kind of latency I'd get out of the CI1.

Works great, has a 25ms latency with my computer and my computer is kinda old, no problem hooking it up. Great being able to put on 2 screens. I am a singer/songwriter so the 2 inputs are fine. Some of this stuff is above me sofar, but I'll learn.

I think the hardware might be good, but the driver is not. It keep crashing in Adobe product like Premiere CS4 and CS 5, etc. That make the hardware unusable to me.

I've had this device for 8 months now. I needed a very simple audio interface to play soft synths with live DAW output. This interface has good control. Very good neutral sound. I only have them connected to Altec Lansing PC speakers now..I can't wait to hear them on studio monitors.Steinberg/Yamaha have excellent customer support.Latency is a bit of a problem as stated by previous user. This is my first audio interface so I did not realize that this only a problem with this particular device and not all of them. I recommend this device for low budget consumers. I found it for $85. Very satisfied for the price. But if I could spend more, I would find one with less latency.

Music is supposed to be fun. This box, and the software that comes with it, is the ultimate music kill. I have made only a few bars of music with it, in the dozens of hours I have owned it. Why so little? The registration process is so convoluted, with multiple activation passwords and processes, a dongle with separate codes and processes (???), a forum you cannot post on unless these multiple activations are valid (???) and other endless setup problems that have kept me from even just jamming on 3 chords. I am not a NOOB - I have written and recorded for many years, using other software and synths and so on. I just wanted to hook up a mic and do some demos but I cannot get a good signal and cannot get answers in a forum I cannot post in. It's just ridiculous.

The product is great but took 3 people to get it activated. U better have a degree in computer science before u start. The operation seems simple enough, we will see.
