I have a USB point in my car but the charger didn't work when plugged in, I tried it with the cigarette connector and it worked perfectly this way. Shame it didn't work just through USB point but never mind.

This is a smart looking phone, but there is one problem with it. A fatal problem, the battery lasts about 2 hours of sitting in your pocket with energy saver on, and as many things turned off as possible. Unacceptable.

It kept my phone safe for many-a-months, but one day it broke, it was a bad fall, it kept my phone safe but gave it's own life to do so, I will be getting another one as it was amazing, so stylish and sturdy, very hard to come across these days.

got it for my daughter, she seems to be attached to it, to the point it may need surgical removal. So guess it must be good.

Rubbish phone i got it as a gift the phone is slow and the memory gets full quickly and it keeps crashing. I would not suggest anyone to buy this phone

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Perfect. I didn't realise it came with a wee rubber screen finger thingy and screen protector, extra bonus.

Perfect, exactly what they say they are - screen protectors are a pain to put on properly so be careful, but these are still great :)

I think sim free phones are better as you can swap sim cards with different networks. I personally chose to get my miro from a normal shop because of the warranty cover.
Using the phone for the first time is tricky if you have never owned a smart phone before, things like - address book for me were not easy to use as I haven't figured out how to use the thing yet. Was even complicating popping the sim card in, in the bok there are two plastic rectangles that come with it, i thought the smaller, clear one was the SIM but it wasn't. The box also comes with a piece of cloth, a scraper to remove air bubbles, charger and instructions - can't say what these are yet!
The phone is great comes with apps like Twitter, Amazon, Google Maps, GPS, Gmail and you can download more..from what i've read.
The phone shut itself down after one call which by far I am extremely unhappy about, i'm getting it changed. The telephone icon in the menu has also vanished. The wifi connection is slow but the whole phone regardless of Technical faults makes a basic mobile .. look very basic.
Iphone is probably better there are more things to download and it'll work anywhere. I'll get one someday in the future.
Make sure you get a long warranty just in case the phone breaks.

Had this for six months now, so feel qualified to rate it. It's good to look at and has adequate battery life for my needs,mainly receiving email and some texts. The notification of emails and texts is very good. The Walkman music function is adequate and bullt in speaker makes a noise resembling music. Camera is remarkably competent in good lighting. I don't have loads of apps running on it intentionally . The biggest failing is the phone function or should I say non function. I realise it takes two or five minutes to stop faff ing when you switch it on, but even after that it fails to connect. Correction it fails to tell you it's connected so I frequently make ghost calls as pressing the call button appears to do nothing, but the phone is connecting .
This is incredibly frustrating and spoils a otherwise decent item. I wish I had been less anti apple and bought an I phone now.

Intro: Having passed through a few reasonably priced, decently powered Xperia handsets (my last was a Xperia Mini) I am now on to my latest, the Sony Xperia Miro ST23a. This purchase was influenced by a couple of factors such as the availability of handsets at the time, the features (I missed the front camera in my old Xperia Mini Pro) and a simple design. I tend to stick to mid-range Android handsets because technology changes everyday and it makes no sense buying expensive, high end devices when the next best thing is right around the corner. However, this is subject to debate because we'll agree that everyone has different needs and tastes where mobile handsets are concerned.Features: I'll just highlight a few of the main features below since the full specifications can be found by searching for the Sony Xperia Miro at cc[...]:- Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Operating System (latest handset build is 11.0.A.5.5 which seems to speed up functionality and add the SMS counter)- Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE support as well as dual-band UMTS support- 3.5" 320 x 480 pixel touch-screen with HVGA resolution- 800MHz Cortex-A5 Processor- 5MP rear camera with auto-focus and LED flash- VGA front camera for Googletalk, Oovoo and Skype calls- MicroSD card slot (internal) with support for up to a 32GB card- 4GB internal memory and 512MB RAM- Wi-Fi b/g/n, Wi-Fi hot-spot support- Stereo FM radio and much moreOpinion: The Sony Xperia Miro satisfies my needs for a smartphone at the moment, however I haven't fully explored its capabilities or features as yet. The camera quality is crisp and clear when taking pictures and the interface is far smoother than the update I performed on my previous Xperia Mini Pro and Xperia Mini handsets. It is a reasonably priced handset (I got mines at the time for US$202.26) which provides the standard features you'll come to expect from a Sony Xperia handset. I did not receive a headset with my purchase but I was able to source one via Amazon. For others who may need to purchase a headset, please be advised that you cannot use previous Sony Ericsson headsets with the newer Sony Xperia handsets. According to a post by another user (see the customer review here[...] ) older Sony Ericsson Xperia headsets use the OMTP standard which is not compatible with newer Sony Xperia handsets.

?For anyone who is looking for a Basic Entry Level Smart Phone? that is also Pocket Sized? and you do not want to pay "Apple's iPhone" Prices? The "Sony Xperia Miro" is a stylish and excellent example of how to implement a fast "android operating system" that will not slow down the phone too much.? Very intuitive and seamless "Sony android" interface compared to some manufacturers examples.?

I bought one of these phones for my husbands christmas, and was so happy with the purchase that I have since bought another for my 12 year old daughters birthday. Both seem extremely happy with the phones. Delivery was excellent. No worries at all.

I was a really big fan of Sony products in general but I've owned 2 different Sony phones now (the Miro being one of them) and I won't be buying another Sony. My Miro shuts the phone down during calls, won't let me see missed calls if more than two people call, has deleted my phone contacts meaning I have to add them each time etc etc. I just wanted simple things from a phone to work well. This does not achieve them. Not for me anyway. I feel exasperated enough to write this review. I'm sure Sony won't exactly change their design and production just because of my review. I'd just like to save someone else the grief if they were bordering on this or another phone. Sony, you can do much better.

Gone through two of these, the plastic sides to hold the phone in place break enabling the phone to move about, and in my case move and press in the volume button muting the sound resulting in missed calls. Only use now is to protect the phone from scuffing

I was going to get this phone online but I had it bought as a gift off a family member a few days ago who got it from Vodafone. The first day after it was set up it worked well my contacts was saved to my sim card. The second day I turned the phone off to charge it and when i turned it back on the contacts had gone from the contact list. So with the contacts being saved to my sim card I tried it in my old phone and they came up so I put it back into my new phone and nothing came up. I attempted it a few more times but the same thing happened so now I'm back to my old phone that I am very happy with and always will be. I will never use a Sony phone again and I do not recommend them to anyone.

Delivery was quick. The cost reflects the quality - it does not stand knocks as the plastic clips holding the phone are vulnerable.

I can not praise this company enough! Excellent product and an excellent service! Highly recommended! My initial purchase was faulty, as can happen with anything, but it was replaced, no problems, and the replacement is fantastic! After a few dodgy on-line purchases this company has restored my faith in on-line shopping! Thankyou.

This Phone is the best!!!!!!!! It is easy to use, its got a great camera, and its at a reasonable price for such a good phone. It is a lovely size and is overall the best. For only 100 pounds this is a great phone, no it my not be the best phone in the world but they cost 550 ponds and 40 pounds a month for texts and calls so you don't want that do you? I was surprised when I got this phone as it was quick easy to use and just fell in love. I hope you find this helpful and well done SONY for making such a good phone!!!

Really good phone, first smartphone I bought. It does everything I could ask it to. The only complaint I have is that after a month or two when space comes to a premium, the phone can become very, very slow at loading, processing etc. This should be solved with an SD card I assume

The cover was bought to protect my sons new Sony Xperia Miro mobile phone, it fits ok but he cannot control the volume with the cover on so a 2 star rating is the best i can give.
