Set up was super easy. I really thought I would struggle. Used the Peerless universal mount, which does require a little bit of thinking to set up. Instructions suck but got it mounting on the ceiling. The projector throws out a test pattern and at my distance it was about a 100" projection. Done, that was easy.
Next step was hanging the screen. This was a bigger pain but got it done. Had purchased an Elite screen back in 2018 (along with the ceiling mount) and it sat in the attic. Got it hung, dropped the screen and wow, I was amazed at how well it all turned out. Few adjustments on the mount to center the pic and we were in business. Surprisingly easy to get it all set up.
The unit puts out a nice, clear picture. Granted in higher light situation there is some wash out. Reminds me of the good old days of rear projection TV's. With the room dark it was incredible watching a moving on the 100" screen. The wall mounted 65" TV sits behind the screen. Still need to do some tweaking of the picture, color, etc.
For the price I am very pleased and hope to get many years of use out of this unit. Not sure 4K is needed as this looks great. For my first dive into this I am very satisfied. You will be as well!

I bought this in Feb 2017 and have been using it a lot these last three years, the picture is very clear at 200" and I've had no technical issues with the unit to date. I have several hundred hours of movie and TV time on the bulb and cant perceive any dimming of the picture or loss of contrast. I keep the projector plugged into a battery backup to keep the power clean and in case the power goes out it will still be able to cool before shutting off.
A word on UPS units and this projector, I found that I had to buy a pure sine UPS for it. when I was using a standard 800w APC unit I noticed the projector developed a hum that it never had before, even when I wasn't using it. Replacing with a pure sine solved that problem.
