I'll qualify my opinion by stating that for the price, these speakers sound very, very good.I'm also of the opinion that when it comes to speakers, headphones and other audio devices, opinions will run the gamut as people's taste in what they hear varies by what a person likes in a speaker.Now, all of those qualifiers out of the way, I'll move on. I went to a simple set of twin speakers after years of monkey-ing around with computer speakers that had a subwoofer. There's no doubt they sound better than the Sony SRS-A3 speakers, but I just got so tired of swimming through all of the cables, controllers and knobs that come with such a set up. So, for simplicity, I returned to the simple two-speaker set. These speakers are a snap to set up and get running (although I agree with another review that the cable leading to the computer could've been a foot longer). These speakers were clearly designed for laptop use (based on the short cable lengths), but I don't think they'd travel well. So, I think Sony envisioned these remaining on a desk where the laptop was frequently used.So, I'd recommend the speakers heartily, but add that you'll probably need a cable extension.The sound is good through most ranges, but I'm of the opinion that these speakers actually offer better sound for games and internet browsing than they do for listening to digital music. Sometimes, playing MP3 files seem to come through a bit flat. But, to someone else's ear, these speakers may sound just fine. However, I've knocked them another star because I've heard better sound coming out of much older model speakers in the same category (particularly with regards to bass).For what you're paying, these speakers are excellent. For what you're hearing... well, they're really not too bad. They're not "big sound" speakers in the least, but if you're actually researching the SRS-A3s by reading these reviews, I'm guessing you're not looking to thump a house party with your computer speakers anyway.

These speakers are a nice step up form my monitor speakers. They have noticeably better sound and noticeably more volume. But that's about all you can say for them. I have never really been concerned with having great and loud sound, so these are good enough for me.As another reviewer mentioned, the cord to plug them into the computer is quite short, and it comes from the left speaker. About 38 inches. This could be problematic for many people. Cut a piece of string about 38 inches long and see if it will work for you. And remember, that will be a tight stretch.Edit 4-8-2012It's just like others have mentioned. There is very little bass in these speakers, and they are 'tinny' sounding. Because of the way I have my computer set up, it is necessary that I adjust the computer balance control so that the right hand speaker is louder than the left. When there is a lot of bass in the sound the right hand speaker hums or buzzes.And as others have mentioned, these speaker seem to be designed for laptop users. They are small enough to still be portable, but have better sound than the laptop.

Good speakers not great. Lack any kind of Bass(didn't expect much anyway because of the size). However they are very clear.

So the reason I purchased these speakers was to plug them into my HD Dock for my Motorola Razzr. I wanted to have a more elaborate alarm clock and I like to listen to Internet radio in the evenings. The sound quality is good, but they just don't get very loud. I know that they are small speakers but I expected a little more than what they are giving me.Dont listen to anyone on here who is telling you that they are as good as the BOSE Comp II. That is not true. If I could redo this purchase I would look for something else in this price range.

the title says it all. for the price, these are reasonably attractive, reasonably decent speakers. i think, next time, i'll spend a little more, but for the price...awesome.they have a clean sound; obviously not much bass, and a 'bump' in the low-mids (that i eq'd out with the iTunes eq). but decent volume, and light-years better than the built-in speakers on my macbook pro (13").nice, for the price.

If you are looking for a couple inexpensive speakers to give you decent sound with a small footprint, look no further. I set these up on a computer for my kids, and they work flawlessly. The volume and sound are quite good. If you are an audiophile you aren't looking at these anyway.The only complaint is that the cords are short. I made it work, but it would have been nice to have more length to work with.Overall, I definitely recommend these speakers.

I haven't tried them cranked up, I use them in my office to stream panodra at a low volume. Clean sound with good surround sound "spacialization". Classy finish of gloss black on rear of units and flat black of the front. Green LED power indicator & headphone input on the front. Volume knob and on/off switches quickly accessible on the side of the unit.

What? An audiophile like me who does not need audiophile priced speakers for computer listening? Yes, indeed so. I leave that for my dedicated listening room. However, having just purchased a 27" Asus led monitor, I was horrendously disappointed to find the built in speakers to be totally unlisteneble! Enter the Sony srs a3. Sony, while not a true high end audiophile company, has always walked a close line in making good audio components. Let us just say that for a mere $38.00 including shipping, you will NOT find a better small computer speaker on the market! Disregard Logitech, Harmon Kardon and the overly bright and expensive Bose system. The speakers here are made up of 1 active 5" driver per speaker and what you get is concert hall sound for a mere penance! Excellent stereo imaging if you place them to the sides of your monitor and most importantly, a "neutral" compelling sound quality. Great ambiance, smooth vocals and enough bass for a person sitting at his desktop to put a big grin on his or her face. To anyone looking for a product of this type, your ship has sailed into the harbor!

I never got to try these as they did not play when hooked up to my desktop? It's probably my own fault for not reading more carefully as these are primarally for laptops, I still don't know why they wouldn't play. I'm sure they are good speakers.

All I have to say is, they are worth more than I pay for them. If you are just looking for a simple set of speakers for you PC, this is it.

Sony has outdone themselves with these computer speakers.They are way better than i expected. Shipped super quickarriving a couple of days early. Overall six stars out offive! YaY Amazon!

At this price point you get a speaker set with a very decent open and clear midrange with a soundstage. Voice comes through very nicely and floats between the speakers. Low end cuts off quickly and while lacking heft does have a bit of punch, the highs are bit sizzley. Very good for the price. For casual non-serious listening a very good buy (but serious listening speakers, for me are $200 like the audioengine 2). The midrange clarity is the big surprise. Costlier PC speakers (I listened to some models upwards of $60) are more grainy and muddled and don't have the spaciousness, dimensionality, quiet background, and soundstage these put out. These don't get very loud but are good enough when you sitting in front of your computer. Like all speakers they require some break-in and settle in nicely after a few hours of playing.

I read the reviews on Amazon and other websites before purchasing these. I was looking for speakers that didn't take up the one of the few USB ports on my laptop. I am not an audiophile and find these speakers serve the purpose for which they were purchased. I like to watch Netflix on the laptop while chopping veggies, etc in the kitchen. Other times I want to listen to iTunes. These speakers are able to meet my needs.

I was expecting minimal but acceptable loudness for these speakers based on the price. WELL, did I get a surprise. They definately exceeded my expectations.

Not only was the price right they also qualified for Amazon Prime Shipping which arrived much faster than I anticipated.You can't go wrong if you're thinking about purchasing these speakers as a gift or for your own computer.I purchased them to enhance the audio sounds of my Iphone4s and I was pleasantly surprised.They come with the 3.5mm jack that connects to mp3 players and most smart phones. They sound great and look even better.I didn't realize they were Sony until I opened the box.I wouldn't hesitate purchasing another set of these speakers as a gift or for another computer.I hope this review was helpful.

Okay, first of all, I am a very picky buyer, it takes a lot to impress me. For the price of these speakers, you are getting OUTSTANDING audio quality. The sound is very rich and clear with a very nice amount of bass. I like to listen to music to unwind and these speakers will fill the room with loud, rich sound. I cannot say enough about these, they are excellent, do not hesitate to buy. And, the Sony name is synonymous with fine quality sound.

Product was exactly as advertised. Perfect for my needs and the price fit within my budget. After all, isn't that all one needs to know? Much appreciated.

I've been on the lookout for a good, cheap set of speakers because my HP monitor has speakers built into the BACK, which face AWAY from the user, and therefore can't even be heard over the air conditioner. These are terrific speakers (always go with active, even if it's a couple of bucks more) and were very reasonable. However, the built-in cord to connect them to the PC is ridiculously short. Like most people, my PC tower is on the floor, and right now the left speaker (the one with the built-in cord) is sitting only about four inches from the back of my work station, and it's pulled TIGHT. If your work station isn't flush against the wall and facing straight ahead (mine's a triangular corner setup) then you'll have to do some serious rearranging if you don't want one of the speakers stashed behind your monitor. So thumbs way up for quality and value, but both way down for not adding another six inches of speaker wire.

I was in need of compact speakers for garage use with my iPod. These do very well, not top-line sound, but more than adequate. My only nit is the short speaker cord provided -- I have them high on a shelf and had to procure an extension to reach down to where I set the iPod.

у Меня есть звуковая панель Yamaha также, купленных в Amazon и дает 100 оборотов в sony, модель И-401, имеет звук, очень теплый и чистый, и хорошо, что он может поставить другие два динамика для создания 5.1. В конечном итоге, профессии в вашей работе.
Это и имеет хорошие телевизоры, мобильные телефоны, но есть бренды, звук очень хорошие.

Я, глядя на все Home Cinema с задних колонок беспроводные Amazon в нижнем диапазоне до 500 евро, а после удалить те, которые не продавали на Amazon непосредственно, я изучил в Интернете, каждый из них. ПОВТОРЯЮ, ДЛЯ которого у вас есть СОМНЕНИЯ: модель WB имеет ЗАДНИЕ колонки подключены только к одной беспроводной приемник, который, в свою очередь, concetado в розетку, ничего больше, на английском, номера хорошие прохождения кабельных желобов и детектор утечек, чтобы скрыть, которые выходят из проигрывателя, на задних динамиков. Правда, с этой системой я не вижу, что есть необходимость выбрать из колонки полностью беспроводные они идут с аккумуляторами (вы увидите, когда порчи батареи, какой смех) и его мощность, как правило, меньше.

Купить этот домашний Кинотеатр, потому что у него задние колонки беспроводных, потому что в моем случае было очень трудно провести кабели. Это один из лучших Home Cinema по цене, что имеет. Соответствует хорошо для любого случая: музыка, фильмы, сериалы... Только я пропустил немного низким, но в меню настроек я 'принудительного' и теперь улучшились значительно! Очень рекомендуется, если вы не хотите тратить много и соблюдать все что угодно! Сказать, что не читает Blu-Ray 4k, берите Blu-Ray нормальной и масштабирование 4К. Есть небольшой баг, иногда зависает и не остается другого, как desenchufarlo и вновь подключить, но ничего особенного. Простоту установки(рекомендуется 2 человека). Sony enterteiment network) - это ОЧЕНЬ медленно, не рекомендую.

Мне пришла большая коробка, в 1 день, как планировалось. Ничего не стоит установить его. Есть два варианта, чтобы звук ТВ, кабель HDMI с RCA или, если Телевизор-это проживание с оптический кабель (оптический кабель не входит в комплект). Я смог это сделать с помощью кабеля HDMI!!! У меня есть буфер, слева от телевизора, панель под Телевизор, а потом колонки рядом Телевизор и два беспроводных колонок позади дивана. Затем можно легко настроить аппарат, советую настроить подключение к Интернету, чтобы проверить звук всех динамиков. Sony делает качественные продукты, и этот home cinema-это очень хорошее качество. Я купил его со скидкой соотношение цены и качества отличное.

Купил Sony BDVN5200WB 7 декабря 2016 года. С первого дня оставался заблокированным очень часто: примерно каждый 3 раз. Чтобы разблокировать его не стоило выключить и включить. Было вынуть полностью, а затем снова подключить, включить и дождаться загрузки.
на Этой неделе, через два года после покупки, стали блокировать на неопределенный срок. Если desenchufo и я подключить снова немедленно заблокировать.
С системой заблокирован, не работает ничего: ни динамики, ни DVD, ни приложений, ничего.
