The battery was received in a package loose. The battery showed signs of wear on the contacts... My two year old battery looked new compared to this one. I charged it and it did take a charge but after a week of use it was losing charge much faster than my 2 year old battery. Today I noticed that the back of the phone was unusually warm and the charge was dropping faster than usual. I only took one call (less than a 2 minutes duration) and i had to charge it twice and by the time I got home it was already in the red and about to shut off. Don't waste your money. Chances are that the battery you have in your phone is better than this one. I wouldn't take another from this vendor even if they gave it to me.

I ordered this from amazon and it was supposed to be new and origianl sony ericsson. What I received was a used, very dirty and damaged product. It looks as if someone owned it for a few years, abused it and let their dog chew on the cord. very disappointing.

First, the standard stuff! Prompt shipping although you couldn't track the shipment with the number provided. The packaging was good, however not unlike others here have commented, you really can't tell if it's new. It does seem to be an OEM original.Have the battery for about a month now and it has performed as expected. No error messages on the phone, seems to last as long as the old one, charges normal and holds the charge.Bottom line, it cost 75% less than purchasing through Sony or your wireless company and I got to keep the phone, which I love. This also meant that I didn't have to buy a new phone, pay connection fees or sign up for a two year committment with an upgrade.

I've gotten burned by cheap cables/chargers in the past and have learned that its worth the extra 7 or 8 bucks to get the real deal.

Sony Ericsson Standard Battery for Sony Ericsson C902, C905a, K850i, W580i, W760a, W995aThis "new" battery doesn't keep a charge any better than the 2 year old battery it was meant to replace. It was probably made the same day as the old battery and has been sitting on a shelf waiting for a sucker to purchase it.I do NOT recommend this product or this vendor.

As the other reviewer wrote, it is exactly the one which came with your cellphone. I purchased and used a cheap alternative, but it didn't last long and did not fit well. This is a bit expensive than the cheap alternative but for me it's worth the price; fits perfectly to my W580, and feels sturdy.

I bought this battery from amazon.com because it was the identical battery that came in my Sony Ericsson W580i cell phone 18 months ago. The original battery used to last me three or four days. It is now only lasting two days. I thought that for $12 and change including shipping it would be worth it to get a new battery. Trouble is - the new battery only lasts one day. I've fully charged it several times. I've let it run down to nothing. Still no improvement in performance.I'm reluctant to buy another one for fear that it too won't be better than my original battery.

When I received my order Monday it was short one battery even though the package was marked 2 batteries.I called CELLOUNGE at their customer service number. A very polite lady told me they were sorry for the mistakeand would ship the other battery that day. I received the battery this morning FedEx. The origonal shipment was not due until 8/23/10. What can I say- GREAT SERVICE .Thank You.

These batteries are old and worn out. I bought two of them together and they don't hold charge for more than 6 hours. I would not recommend this buyer at all.

Came on time, charged and held charge well. Quite pleased. Told the husband to turn off the bluetooth when not using to save the battery life... ;-)

I recently got this battery and it does not work. It comes in a cheap, unsealed box and the phone won't start or charge with it inserted. I seriously recommend anyone looking for a replacement battery to look elsewhere.

I needed a new battery for my Sony Ericsson W580i. A local battery store said $40 and they would have to order it. AT&T wanted $60. No way. I ordered this battery and within three days, it arrived. It works perfectly! The price is great too. If you need a replacement battery like I did, get this one.

I purchased this battery from A1 accessories for about 12 USD (including shipping - I guess it was $7+$5 for S&H).The battery itself is pretty decent - Upon charging fully, it retains the charge for about 2 days (of normal usage).However, on a few occasions, my phone (w580i) refused to charge the battery and notified me to insert an original Sony Ericsson Battery !Nevertheless, the phone simply accepted the battery after I took-it out and re-placed it again.It serves my purpose for now. Apart from the product being a (pretty decent) fake, I have no complaints with it. The shipping was prompt and I got it delivered within 2 to 3 days !

I bought this to replace my old Sony Ericsson W580i battery which would no longer hold a charge after 18 months of use. The original battery was great, would stay charged for 5 days or more depending on use, sometimes up to a week. This replacement will only stay charged for 2-3 days tops, and loses all power rather suddenly when the time is up. It was very inexpensive, so you get what you pay for. As long as you have access to your phone charger regularly, it will serve its purpose. If you've grown accustomed to long times between plug-ins, you may be disappointed.

low quality battery discharge in short time i had to buy another from local store. i do not know it is battery or retailer who send me bad battery.

The battery came in OEM fashion with no box, only a plastic baggie. It was inexpensive. I switch it out all the time making good use of both batteries (original and new). It works and holds a charge so I'm happy with the purchase-would do it again.

I always buy a second battery for my phones for when one goes dead i can just swap the second one in untill i am around my charger. This battery worked great has almost the same life as the original battery the phone came with. For the price you cant beat this!

This was perfect for the Sony Ericsson which run an authenticity check on the battery before ir "accepts" it. Prior to this purchase I purchase another non-authentic battery an the phone acted irradically. Sony sells their batteries for $50+sh

Works as advertised. Better than the charger included with the phone as this one is narrower than the original adapter. The pass-through plug is also neat as it allows you to connect an accessory while the phone is charging.
