1. the padded bag is a great feature. The bag seems to be high quality, and it hold my kirk ball head mounted(BH3)...though it is tight.
2. The twist locks are easy to use. Of course there are 12 locks vs 6 on my other tripod, so that doubles the set up time.
3. The padded bag will fit in my small back pack, and under an airplane seat.
4. The reduction in weight will be appreciated for any hikes.
5. It solidly holds my SLR w/400mm lens.
6. This is a short tripod, but that is clearly stated in the specs. It seems pretty solid even when raising the center post....which I have not done with others in the past, but may do with this one because this is so short.
If anything changes I will update. But at this point I am thrilled with the setup.

I bought this tripod with the G20 ballhead also made by Sirui. The product is very well made and easily supports a Canon 5D MKII and a Canon 70-200 L IS MKII lens. Once the camera is mounted and locked on the ballhead there is no lens creep. There is a hook beneath the vertical column of the tripod that allows you to hang a weight (your camera bag with a few lenses will do just fine) to provide additional stability by lowering the overall center of gravity and damping any vibration. Without the additional stabilizing weight of the bag, the tripod/camera combination will be top heavy when you mount a heavy camera and lens.
There are 5 sections for the legs and with the ballhead mounted it folds into a compact length of less than 15". The tripod together with the ballhead weighs slightly over 3 lb. There are two columns included - a long one and a short one that lets you get really close to the ground for low level shots. The legs have two angle settings - 52 and 80 degrees. The compact size together with the light weight makes this a really portable and versatile tripod.

I bought this tripod and a Ballhead with quick-release plate, Max.Load 44 Lbs. It is light and looks very well made, sturdy and does stand the weigh of my Canon 7D together with a 24-105 L series lens well. I have used it only twice but had no problems with it and did not wobble at all. I still have to try it outside.
It is made of an aluminum alloy and it is very light so that you can carry it inside a bag or check it in, if you are travelling, somethng that I also took into account when I decided to buy it. The other well known makes have a cheaper line of tripods but they are not as good as some newer companies that are trying to grow. Liked the dark anodized finish also as it does not reflect light and call attention to it.
Have to get used to the silicon twist locks but have to practise.
It comes with a bag which is very well made and if you fold the tripod and ballhead as instructed, you can fit them both inside it and there is still room inside.
Happy with the purchase. Will right again when I have used and tried it on the field.

I love this thing. I was looking for something light, small and versatile, and this had it all, even a height extender and a hook for adding stability (weight) if needed. I just added a magnetic head and wallah! super fast setups.
The only things that would make it absolutely perfect is to weight only 6oz and be 6" high, collapsed.

Я тоже посмотрел на Т-005 и его карбоновую версию, но я хотел использовать этот штатив с DSLR и 400мм Ф5.Объектив 6 (который я использую для съемки дикой природы и съемок), я пошел на этот большой штатив, увидев, как маленький Т-005 на самом деле.<БР />
Для меня этот штатив идеально только о совершенном сладкое пятно между функцией и вес. Он обеспечивает прочную поддержку для телеобъектива, но я могу с радостью носить его весь день привязали, чтобы мой рюкзак не чувствуя отягощенный. С поворотным замком ноги работают прекрасно, хотя после нескольких лет, используя зажим замки мне потребовалось немного времени, чтобы привыкнуть к ним.<бр /><бр />я дал его 4 из 5 звезд просто потому, что я не знаю, насколько хорошо он будет выполнять в течение ближайших нескольких лет, когда он привыкнет и злоупотребления в сфере. Хотя первоначальные впечатления очень хорошие. После этого сравнивая с аналогичными предложениями от других крупных производителей, я впечатлен качеством продукта, который Sirui изготовили и я очень доволен, что мое решение приобрести эту модель.
