Buen disco de gran capacidad para viajes.
Disco duro muy ligero y comodo para transportar, seguro por los materiales de los que está hecho, de aluminio y silicona, a prueba de golpes y accidentes de caídas y derrames de líquidos, etc..
La única pega que le pongo es que no tiene un gancho o algo para adaptarle el cable usb y guardarlo, en las instrucciones pone que si se puede, pero yo al menos, no doy con ello. Por lo demás, esa capacidad, formato y precio, insuperable.

Potencia y rigidez unidas
Un disco duro que junta potencia, velocidad y capacidad (1 TB) con rigidez y dureza.
Tiene una velocidad bastante buena (3.0) y entra con dos cables, uno corto que va junto al disco duro, muy practico por si se te olvida el cable grande en alguna ocasión.
lo suyo es que no se te caiga (jejeje) pero a mi se me ha caído dos veces y a salido intacto . lo compre porque el anterior que compre se me cayo y perdí todos los datos.

Compre este disco duro y ha sido un timo, es lentisimo, tarda tanto en abrirse que te puede dar un ataque. Quisiera devolverlo pero no se como hacerlo.

Hard disk esterno magnifico
He comprado este hard disk 2 terabytes y es facil de installar, lo uso como memoria adicional de la playstation 4 pro, apenas enchufada la playstation 4 pro la reconocio y la formateo como memoria adicional, asi he podido incrementar el espacio de la memoria de la ps4 pro. producto fantastico, lo recomiendo.

Tested on a Apple MacBook Pro 2015 on OSX El Capitan.
Another great product from Silicon Power, very well packaged and very good finish overall to the product.
The product is a great fit in the hand, not big or small just the right size for on the go use, added benefit of the USB cable clipping around the drive with the clips being removable. Great dust cover over the USB jack on the device and when in use you can see the light flashing or just on to know what the device is doing.
Speeds from the device are very good, just over 100mb/s each way, which is something that I have come to expect from this company delivering great products are a very good price point.
Overall you won't be disappointed with this drive's performance, quality with the added benefit that it can be thrown around so less of a chance for losing data or it becoming corrupt.

I got the 2TB drive today and I tried to test it.
Fisrtly, I used a USB 3 hub and connect the drive through the hub and it can't perform well. I use this hub to read flash and different memory card and external hard drive. No problem at all. However it didn't work well with this one.
Then I tried to connect the hard disk directly to computer but I had to reformat the disk. After all, apprantly everything was fine. However, I faced another problem, as the cable is short, I had problem to connect the disk easily to my computer. I have to go underneath the table and put the hard disk next to my compter.
The cable is not standard usb 3 cable (like usb C), and is proprietary to the company so I couldn't find any other cable around to connect this hard disk with. So I am worried if I loos this cable then where I should get one or even longer cable?
The cable holders are loos and come off easily, Chances are you losse the cable or cable holders.
For all these hassles I have to give 2 stars sofar. I will test the hard disk and if I come up with other challanes I will update my feedback.

The unit failed. Contacting the support people who did ask questions to establish the unit no longer will connect to any PC. The result is a huge loss of personal data.
They have agreed to replace but this is a long process but will not result in data recovery. I am at a loss on how to recover the data.
I do not want to send the HDD away as it contains personal data .

There were issues with delivery of this item (not the sellers fault), this was resolved by the seller in a speedy and effective manner and is an example of good customer service. As for the drive, at first glance its impressive, looks shockproof and attractive and i like the way the USB cable is managed. Drive seems quite and fast and so far has presented no problems. After the drive has been in use for a few months i will update this review as necessary. Was it worth the money.... Yes it was.

Device works and protection appear adequate. Uses a different cable to other USB3 external drives so need to make sure one carries the requisite cable. It has a cable attachment to wrap the cable onto the device for easy carriage - except the first time I took off the cable a plastic grip part of that flew off as well and one might not expect it will soon the same will happen and the cable attachment will no longer be there. Poor design. For the moment though, am otherwise happy.

Awesome, awesome and awesome! Great external Hard drive and wow the casing makes this almost indestructible! Feels like a very flexible, bouncy rubberized casing too, and that's before we consider the internal shock absorption. I don't know what else to say, other than, after my last hard drive broke after a tiny fall, I feel far more relaxed and at ease about a fall with this 'full metal jacket soldier!' - Water proof too, gosh these are so worth the extra money, which wasn't much extra really. - Recommended!

When I first received the item I connected it with the long lead but nothing happened. I sent an email to the supplier but after connecting it with the short lead it started to work with any lead. However, after about 6 months it just stopped working. The supplier agreed to replace it and even do a data recovery but I was reluctant to send the drive to Taiwan as it had a lot of personal information on it (I did try a data recovery myself but it was not possible) I thought that they would understand this but they just said it had to be sent to prove it wasn't working. After telling them that I would just have to take the loss I heard nothing else - no apology, nothing!

If you have files that are larger than 4gb you will need to reformat the disc before you use it. Apart from that seems to work well. But discs can just go wrong even if they have not been dropped on the floor!!

This is a great little drive with 1TB of space. It's compact, solid, speedy and has so far proved true to its shockproof credentials - it's has a couple of knocks and not lost any data, unlike a more expensive one I got last year which lost tons after one small scrape. I've traveled with this drive a lot and it's been nothing but reliable and I've never been able to say that 100% about a drive of this side before, so can definitely recommend.

Durable, Shockproof? well I haven't tested that out but here I am less than 4 months into ownin this product and actually using it for only half that time and the unit is failing. Just copying some music as a back up and the head is clicking - a sure sign of imminent failure.

Very impressive design.Can just about fit in your pocket.Feels solid. Haven't tested it's waterproof or rugged design and don't exactly intend too but I'm confident it could withstand hard punishment (just look up any testing videos about it.) Considerable fast transferring files.I think it transferred 34 gigs in about 8 minutes.Can't really fault the product as of yet.The only 2 things I will note is that it is a Samsung hard drive which I'm aware people have with problems with in the past.The second thing that I would question is whether the device is waterproof when the usb plug is covered.Other than that very content with this product.

I needed a little rugged drive to backup some machines. This fits the bill perfectly splash proof, shockproof, and with a 3 year warranty.

Does what it says on the tin 2TB disk drive in a rugged silicon case. ~The USB cable clips around the edge and this is the only poor point because the little black cable grips can come out and get lost. Other than that works just great. I have used mine all around the world.

After a few months of use, sensible use I might add, the rubber strap that prevents the cable from getting lost is damaged and could snap at any time, but more worryingly the back cap has becomed unglued in places. This is neither dust proof or water proof, and before you think otherwise, no the hard drive has not been dropped. Lately it will not connect properly, seems that the connection is loose and my laptop will read it after playing around with the usb cable.
Really disappointed.

Nice and neat unit that works quite well. The case is tough but flexible and gives good shock protection. My only quibble is the very short data cable which is at times inconvenient. Otherwise this external hard drive is great value.

Solide - étanche - grande capacité - justifie la note de 4,5/5 malgré le prix, cela reste un disque dur de performances honorables pour la vitesse, mais pas une bombe loin de là. 2 précisions après l'avoir acheté : 1°- la fixation du cordon USB est un simple élastique plat noir. 2°- Ne pas installer le logiciel "Lock Utility" (logiciel fourni par "Silicon-Power" qui est en polonais pour l'installation, anglais ou chinois uniquement pour l'utilisation) pour avoir un mot de passe sur le DD. Activé avec un mot de passe, on ne peux l'utiliser que sur un seul ordinateur avec le mdp, celui ou on l'a installé, mais il est invisible sur les autres ordinateurs ... Heureusement on peut le "désactiver". Malheureusement une fois installé il est impossible de le désinstaller car détecté comme une intrusion et ce programme bloque tout et le DD devient invisible pour tous les ordinateurs. Pour le désinstaller il faut formater le disque dur c'est à dire tout effacer .... J'espère que ces commentaires de mon expérience vous seront utiles.Pour Amazon rien a dire : parfait. Un acheteur Amazon qui a acheté ce disque dur

Everything has been great so far. Nothing bad to report. Seems very durable and does everything it should. Bargain if you ask me.
