I got this when the price was much lower, so I don't feel right giving it 5 stars. For it's current price on Amazon ($24.99), I'm not sure I'd go out of my way to recommend it. I put this in an Acer C7 Chromebook, and haven't had any issues with it. I have been using it for a while now, and it makes a big difference (yes, even on ChromeOS). So, while I would recommend getting extra RAM for a Chromebook, I'm not sure that it would be this particular stick. But, for the price I paid, I'm very happy with it. If I have any issues down the road, I'll update this review.

I ordered two of these for an upgrade to my Acer Aspire D270 netbook. My wife has an identical netbook, thus purchasing two. The netbooks had a limitation of 2gb, 1 so-dimm slot. The memory went in and worked like a charm. The netbooks move a lot faster now... if there was only a way to fix Windows... :/

I order 2 of these for my kids netbooks. They came with 1 GB and for homeschool purposes we figured why not try to speed them up a little bit. Well, I had my oldest check the speed after install by playing his minecraft. He was really pleased with the improved performance of his little Acer. Thanks!
