Beautiful watch and a good price too
I bought this watch a few weeks ago, and I am absolutely in love with it. As my first automatic, I knew that a Seiko 5 would be a good choice, and this one absolutely exceeded my expectations. The watch, might seem small at 37mm, but after buying it and wearing it for a bit, it's a perfect size (even if my wrists aren't the smallest). The finish on the dial is incredible and sunburst, and looks good in all sorts of light. The movement keeps time pretty well, but nothing like my quartz watches. Since I purchased this watch, I haven't even put on any of my old watches. One thing I dislike about the watch is the fact that the lume isn't all that great, but honestly that's not a big concern for me.

Worth the money
I finally bought the watch in Feb end after thinking and thinking and thinking for months. I wasnt sure how the experience would be. And before using the watch I checked all the resources available online to check for the authenticity of a Seiko. I even check with offline stores but this model wasnt available. The watch came with a box and warranty card. I have no reason to believe the product is fake. The days are given in English and Spanish language. The bracelet quality is nice. The watch works well and I havent seen it lose time. The watch gives a backup of 36-40 hours when not worn on the wrist. It looks very clean and elegant and people around me have appreciated the watch. The dial size doesnt look small even though its a 37 mm. I got the resizing of the bracelet from a very experienced watchmaker and even he did not raise any question on the authenticity of the watch. And yeah, the see through mechanism at the back looks beautiful. For any one interested in switching to an automatic watch, its worth buying. In fact I was so impressed by the quality of Seiko that i end up buying a Seiko Presage after a month.

Originality of this watch is doubtful. Seiko India not answering the message about the genuineness of the product. It is a fake one.

My father is using this watch since 1986. It is Still working and in good condition. But that was bought through the market so I dont know about Watch that is sold on Amazon whether they r original or not.

Nice watch.. it is an automatic watch... Nice body quality .. date and day mechanism is very nice.. it shows us accurate time .. but if we not wear for 1 day then it will stop .. nice radium .nice chain

I've owned Seiko watches for many years all have given exellent service, so when I saw them on the Amazon web site at greatly reduced prices, I knew that it was time to buy. I choose a Seiko 5 mechanical watch , self winding. It arrived from the U.S.A. in less than five days, perfectly packed. I was able to put in straight on my wrist and expect that it will be there for some considerable time, even accurate time.
