When I returned that, the actual PSU came and it performed well... for a month. After that, my GPU started shutting off as well as other random components unless I restarted my PC—but even then, sometimes my restart button would stop working, which forced me to pull the plug on this thing multiple times.
It eventually got to a point where upon turning my PC on, only a component or two would receive power, and there would be absolutely no visual display. Unfortunately, after running some tests, I found out it was indeed this PSU causing the issue.
The worst part?
It died after the refund date, so now I'm out around $150-200. While I COULD RMA it, I would also have to pay for the shipping to get it replaced. What's funny to me is the implication that I'll want another version of the same PSU that died within a literal month. No thanks. Since I couldn't get a refund, I unfortunately went and took my business elsewhere.
Talk about an expensive lesson. If you do decide to order, I hope it works out well for you.

FYI: I'm not super picky and asked Seasonic if I could keep the first one safely, and they replied saying (1) it's not safe in the condition it arrived in and (2) they would not provide warranty coverage for it. For the second one, I don't care what it looks like, but the power cables simply won't go in the socket as it's blocked by what looks like an already-smushed capacitor.
Am not sure if these were manufacturing defects or due to delivery, but both times Amazon sent the PSU in just the manufacturer's box and no extra padding.
Lastly, marking easy-to-install as not, as the cables are *very* stiff and not particularly nice.
PS. This review is for the GX-650 -- the 1000s of reviews seem from a previous model.

Pros
1. It feels high quality. The I/O switch has a nice click to it as does the hybrid fan mode switch.
2. The cables are very easy to work with compared to some others I've tried. Nice and bendable, although the ATX cable is still a bit stiff (as they all are).
3. Fully modular means I don't have to figure out how to hide cables I don't need.
4. Mounted easily in my case with no problems. It's a standard sized PSU, but it feels small for a standard sized PSU.
5. The cables were long enough for my Cooler Master Masterbox Lite case, but only just barely. Taller cases may give you some trouble.
6. Included all the cables I needed.
7. 80 PLUS Gold certified.
8. Hybrid fan mode (when enabled) turns the fan off when the PSU is under a certain voltage and keeps it at a specific speed when under specific voltages. I don't have this enabled because turning the fan off scares me a little (my GPU and laptop both do it as well), but it's a cool feature I may enable someday.
Cons
1. Nothing as of yet, but I've only had it for a week or two.
Assuming this thing doesn't die on me in the relatively near future, I'll consider this a good purchase. The brand has a 10 year warranty on the thing so hopefully if it does break, Seasonic won't mind sending me another one (or repairing mine). In any case, this is a solid purcahse.

No problem I thought- I'll just RMA the Seasonic PSU. It has an advertised quite bold 12 year warranty! Not so fast- the RMA process isn't difficult, but it isn't easy. Not only that, Seasonic no longer offers Advanced RMA, so you have to ship your PSU back to them, AT YOUR EXPENSE. They will not pay for shipping to get the product to them.
I paid to ship the PSU to them and waited patiently. Eventually, a replacement PSU arrives at my door, and I put it in the computer. It booted without issue, but after firing up a game, within 30 minutes my computer would simply power-off and back on again. What??? I was able to recreate this behavior several times. Not sure if the new PSU was broken, I ran out and bought a new 1000w replacement PSU (not Seasonic) and put it in the computer. I have not had my computer kill itself since.
This strongly suggests that the PSU they sent me as a replacement is not working as advertised, but the worst part? Seasonic support tells me that my only recourse is to go through the RMA process AGAIN, and they won't pay to have the defective PSU returned to them! Wow! Now I have to spend more of my time and money just to get a working PSU? You have got to be kidding me.
So in the future, Seasonic will not have my business. They may advertise a hefty 12 year warranty, but it isn't going to be pleasurable. They aren't going to make it easy. You are going to have to pay for return shipping EVERY TIME, and you MAYBE will get a working replacement. Hard pass in the future, Seasonic.

First thing - you get a PSU tester in the box so you can verify that the one you got is good before installing it. That is really nice. Getting everything in and cable managed only to find out your PSU is bad sucks. So its trouble shooting your MB, CPU, RAM, and GPU on a bench only to find out its the PSU. It was great to go into the build knowing the PSU was functional.
The cables are high quality and there are enough to manage almost any build. This includes older Molex connectors just in case you need those (I did).
I gave it 5 stars for noise level because I couldn't give it 10. It makes no noise. And Im not talking about in the hybrid mode, Im talking fan on all the time. It simply makes no noise under a normal load. Im sure if I put a power hungry CPU and GPU in my box I could stress it but with an R5 3600 slightly overclocked on a TUF Gaming x570 motherboard and an RTX 2060 Super its not breaking a sweat or making a bit of noise.
Great PSU, nicely packaged and dead quiet. About as good as it gets.
