No regrets!!!!
This is an amazing watch. I'm coming from the gear S2 and it's a big improvement. I felt I needed an upgrade after 4 years. I chose to go with the 45mm version as I'm a fan of big watches and it actually looks nice despite what others say about it not being meant for smaller wrist sizes. This watch is very responsive and I've yet to have any sort of lag. I've set up my NFC payments through Samsung pay but I haven't had to use it yet so I can't comment on that as of right now. Many of the apps that I use are very clear and detailed such as messages, weather, Discord etc.... I haven't tried to dictate any of my messages so hopefully I can provide more incite into this later on. I have used bixby a few times and there has been no error in bixby understanding what I say thus far. I have no complaints about this watch so far besides possibly the price which is quite steep. There is no ECG which is a little disappointing but I expect it'll come out in the near future. Otherwise, I'm quite happy with my purchase. If anyone is looking for an upgrade and don't mind spending a little extra for a well built and high quality watch, you won't be disappointed.

Overpriced garbage, holding out for the google branded fitbit
Firstly the price is prohibitive for any fitness tracker/smart watch. I could find no use cases that separate this watch from say 75 to 150 dollar offerings.
Issues:
1. ECG is still not available at writing this.
2. VO2MAX is way off and innacurate. Tested it against lab tested VO2MAX and it was off by a mile.
3. Heart Rate is never correct, O2 sensor seems to give many erroneous readings.
4. Running assistance voice is annoying, voice operation doesn't work as well as competing voice service (siri, google assistant)
4. Watch is leather and drags on skin while running causing redness after first run.
5. I took 2 calls using this and both calls dropped, since then I just use my cell phone out of fear of it just rando dropping.

Not for women with small wrists. Kinda "too much" and not my style. I am going to return it. The features were not worth the cost for me.

Does not work with Verizon
The LTE version of this item is listed as Unlocked on Amazon. Unfortunately, I found out from Samsung that unless purchased through Verizon, this watch cannot be added to a Verizon account, and therefore should not be purchased from a third party site like Amazon

Not fully compatible with iPhone. NFC payments cannot work, no maps, and App Store of the Samsung wearable app is horrible. Not recommended. For the same price there are better options.

LTE version - not work on verizon
UNHAPPY - the watch Amazon sold me Samsung Watch 3 LTE -made in Vietnam does NOT work on Verizon. I talked with many help folks. Sumsung help desk, amazon help desk, google and all they can say is that for what ever the reason the EMEI number shows as incompatible with verizon when performing the set up steps. Returning watch to Amazon, guess Verizon gets the cash

Decent, not great
Sure it's got all the features and great display, which I won't repeat here. A couple of things I noted based on my one week long experience with the Watch 3:
Battery life. The "multi-day" claim is pure marketing. With watch face always on (brightness at 6), continuous HR monitoring and no workout tracking, the battery is dropping at a rate of about 20% every 4 hours. You do the math.
HR monitoring. I had a couple of treadmill run of about 30 minutes each, for the first one it lost HR after a few minutes into it, and never recovered. The second one it did a little better, but still struggled to keep up, frequently losing HR reading.
So yeah I'd say if you want a fancy smart watch, it will probably do just fine. If you want serious fitness tracking, just get a Garmin. Nothing else comes close.

Packaging arrived scuffed and scratched but the watch is great!
Bought this for my husband's birthday even though its above my price range. Giving it to him tomorrow (8/16) but when I spend over $400 on a watch I expect everything to be perfect, box included. Was beyond disappointed to get it with scratches and scuff marks all around the box. In the picture you only see about half of them. Made me regret ordering this through amazon. This is no way relating to the watch itself which im sure is worth the hype. That's why I only took off 1 star.

Wanted to add a review about the watch itself now that my husband uses it. He was up in the air about whether he'd really enjoy it or not but he hasn't been able to stop playing with it and loves it. I was initially worried the larger 45mm size would look too big but its perfect on him. I definitely recommend the watch! It honestly looks better in person than in the videos or online photos. He's been getting a lot compliments on it, too!

Not Worth Upgrade
I love smart watches and the previous generation galaxy watch (still love it and the rotating bezel no one can match) so decided to get upgrade. It is not that different than previous generation other than more pronounced buttons on the side, new watch faces and a little slimmer, it is also about the same speed. The software and hardware is almost exact than previous gen and bixby is still terrible. May seem like I am nit picking but if you going to pay $460 you expect it to be a lot different than previous generation and better styling. This is no way worth over $200 than previous gen. Wait a while for price drop if you really want it better yet buy the previous gen, sure much cheaper now. If you are new to smart watches and money no object then this is a solid android watch but there are other alternatives that are way cheaper like Fossil gen 5 or Moto 360 that do same functions and Google WearOS is improving (still buggy, awful battery life but getting better).

Expensive but worth it, battery life isn't has bad as everyone says.
I upgraded from the 46mm galaxy watch. This watch looks a lot cleaner and the display resolution look much smoother. I like the wheel better and its pretty much the same size. Everything about this watch has an upgrade from the older models. One thing I really like about the watch is the built in microphone. I talk on my watch when I'm driving and the older models it was hard for people to hear me. This watch is crystal clear. Overall 5/5 maybe not worth the price jump for most people but if you use it as much as I do it's definitely worth it. Everyone says the battery life is bad but it seemed good for me. Definitely doesn't last as long as the older models. Wearing it for 10 hours a day with the heart best sensor running every 60s and always on display off it usually has 60-70% after a day. You could definitely get two days out of it without a charge. I think the battery life is pretty good, just don't have the display always on

AT&T could not work out how to activate the LTE version on their network.
I purchased the LTE version. The day it arrived I spend 1.5 hour on online chat with AT&T trying to activate it . They couldn't work out how to do it. The next day I went down to my local AT&T Store (Redmond Town Center, WA) trying to get it activated on my AT&T account network. Had 3 different people working on it but could get it working. The first person set it up completely wrong the first time. The folks in the store gave it a good try and gave up after 4.5 hours.
I dont know where the issue was but it was a horrible experience with this product & service. Between chatting with AT&T online, reading online forums trying to solve it myself and time at the store I invested about 10 hours trying to activate this device with AT&T. I have returned it.

Nice watch but don't get it if you want audible
One thing i was really hoping to do with the new galaxy watch was to go for a jog and listed to audible. While if i did a google search i would have found there is no audible application for the galaxy watches, i didn't because audible seems to be available for everything else, my own fault. That said don't get this watch if you hope to use audible, if that is not a function you want then the watch us elegant and easy to use. The only other limiting factor is the available applications is limited due to the samsung store.

It's quite a big watch for me, but it's a whole lot lighter than the older Galaxy Watch model. Looks beautiful. I had to return the 45mm one, and got the 41mm instead. Love it!

Will Not Connect to Verizon
I would give the watch five stars except for the Verizon connection issue. I was in the Verizon store for over an hour with no success with connection. Verizon said to come back on August 24th and try again.
The watch arrived on time in great condition. I have been watching YouTube videos to get this dumb senior educated. The manual would not download in the Wearable-App. I love how the watch syncs up with my Note 10 plus!

No charger in the box. This makes me think about returning it
It's almost perfect. Battery life is fine, the size and weight is just right. This thing is gorgeous. It's a shame that theres no charger in the box. It makes me feel like I've been taken advantage of. Would it kill you to put a charger in there or even an additional band for working out. I can't believe how greedy this company has become. The thing is so expensive, which is fine. you expect perfection for the price they are charging. And its almost everything you'd want. I did notice that when you cast your phone to your TV, your watch will lose the ability to change the volume. This sucks for those who plug their phone in somewhere, lose their remote like most people, and then can't change the volume with the thing that is literally attached to your body. What else... Oh, when you open the music app and move the rotating bezel, it changes the song. This is pretty unintuitive. It would make more sense to have it change the volume. If I wanted to change the song I'd just hit the next button. Why waste the fine control you get with a rotating bezel on changing songs. Idk . It's weird. It also doesn't seem to always play nice with the pixel bud's volume controls either. Who knows who's fault that is

Bought New Got USED Jelly Doughnut
So, I don't have much bad to say about the watch itself, however, I purchased a new device and expected to get a new device. Instead I got a used device.
The first picture is what I assume to be somebody's Jelly doughnut or some type of fruit spread (I tasted it and it was something sweetly sour, kind of like a blackberry).
The 2nd picture is a picture of the fingerprint I found on the device upon opening it along with some slight scratches on the screen that aren't really noticeable with my camera.
The 3rd picture is a picture of me putting the watch on the charger literally seconds before only to find out that it had a 64% charge already, proving my initial thoughts that the watch was in fact a used device. Samsung doesn't ship these things with more than a 1-10% charge (I've never received anything with over 5% but I'm being generous here) EVER.
If I had known I was going to get a used device I would have gone to Best Buy where they sell this exact watch for anywhere between $80 and $115 off of retail price for return items but I'm trying to assist with the pandemic by not going out as much.
Don't get me wrong, I love this watch save for a few undesirable features or bugs, but I didn't pay for a used item.

I didn't buy this watch to get healthy. Its because I wanted a watch, that looked like a watch (rather than the proportion of an old tv) that would notify me of texts emails etc.
The ios App is great. I didn't expect to be totally satisfied, but I am. And 1000s of watchfaces to choose from instead of a few with Buzz Lightyear, etc.
Every iPhone owner thinking of a watch has to look at this before deciding.
The one I have was $430, no LTE (on purpose) and delivered next day, knowing I could return it if unhappy. I think anyone should try this "real looking" watch. I LOVE IT.

Expensive, but its just money!
Love this watch! If you have the money to buy it and are questioning if its worth it, just do it. Not going into details because I have better things to do, but I'm a tech guy who builds race drones and custom audio/video. I bought several custom bands an a tempered glass screen as well. The thing is cool on so many levels. I'd love to see a direct tv remote app for this. Have a collection of Bulova, Mavado, and Invicta. I like this the most. 50k faces and the best smart watch functionality available. Bought this, Galaxy 20 plus, and samsung plus earbuds. Very happy. Looking for that Amazon splurge during covid-19 lockdown? This setup is for you. Bought the Galaxy 20 plus from BestBuy though. I'm finicky about buying the best stuff. Yep, found it!

This Galaxy Smart Watch Three is Great. I love the heart, sleep monitoring, also the SOS capability.
It took about a 45 minutes on a Saturday with TMobile to set this up, and after it initialized, it now works as as standalone LTE/3G device operating on the same phone number as my primary Samsung Note 10 plus 5G. Many features work best while syncing in bluetooth range with my Smartphone. It is liberating to me to be able to leave my Smartphone home on occasion. I am enjoying streaming Sp*tify music service, free six month service for (new) Samsung customers. Moving music and photos to the watch is seamless. The sound quality on phone calls is loud and clear on the built-in speaker and you can bluetooth to headphones.
I have about a 7 inch wrist and the 45 mm fits and looks great, not heavy or tiring. Opted for the silver (standard stainless shiny steel look) color, nice quality build, design, and look. The phone carrier has a buy one get one free and 24 month payments. I opted to buy direct from Amazon, and also their extended warranty plan (covers drops and damage, no deductible). I did get a screen protector and also a Sp*gen brand black case protector. and waiting on a black plastic strap (easier to wipe down and sanitize than leather strap). If you have WiFI and/or have your Smartphone handy, you may not need the LTE/3G connection, but I suggest ordering the LTE/4G model, it is about $50 more and you then have the option to toggle service on (or off). You may also need an additional charger, one for office and other from home. The capability to wirelessly power and charge from my Smartphone was not that great. Unclear if this Smartwatch works with non-Samsung phones. Happy with my purchase and Amazon. If you are on the fence, don't hesitate, get ticking ... and get the Samsung Galaxy Three, as time awaits for no one.

Unclear if this Smartwatch works with non-Samsung phones. Happy with my purchase and Amazon. If you are on the fence, don't hesitate, get ticking ... and get the Samsung Galaxy Three, as time awaits for no one.

Should have bought directly from Samsung...nothing but time wasted and still not activated
I bought this watch because Samsung pushed my delivery date back by 3 weeks. I took the watch to the AT&T store and was not able to activate it. Says that it's incompatible with their network. Now I'm stuck with a smart watch that can't connect to the cellular network. Since the description isn't correct as it should list viable carriers this shouldn't be my loss! These are not compatible with AT&T or T-Mobile!

Great upgrade but battery got worst.
Its smaller than the galaxy watch 2 but the screen is the same size so the bezel are now smaller. Its also thinner. Sensor is more accurate and software had more options now. Speaker phone sounds less tinny. Bluetooth has longer range. Wi-Fi works well. Samsung pay works if they support NFC only. Blood Oxygen monitor works very well but you have to tighten your strap and not move. Screen is a bit brighter, so it's better on sunny days. Looks like a decent upgrade but the one down side is it gives me about a 5th less battery time than my old version and that's annoying. They really need a smaller CPU that's more efficient or make the move to graphite. I would have rather it be thicker but give more battery. Huawei watches get 2 weeks. This bearly gets a day and half. It is lighter watch.

Absolute Delight!
This is my very first smartwatch, I got to say I love it! Design is amazing, easy to setup, A LOT of incredible features & customizations. This is the BEST smartwatch out there, the battery last me two full days when fully charged. Text/messages send fast, keeps track of workouts well, great speakers. Samsung for the win!

If you're looking for good battery life, keep looking!
I really wanted to like this watch & I did initially BUT... the battery life is abysmal! It's stylish looking & looks like a traditional watch, not a square lump on your wrist like the Apple Watch. BUT the battery life is nowhere as good as they say it should be. I can barely make it thru an entire day without it alerting me that the battery is low & that's without any exercise thrown in! Yes, I could adjust some of the settings like the display brightness but I really don't think I should have to, especially considering the price of the watch. If I pushed all the settings to the max, I probably wouldn't make it until 3pm!
I also had to re-pair it to my iPhone 11 Pro Max at least once every day since it would lose connection. Apparently none of the companies have figured out yet how to make a "perfect" smartwatch, one that has a multi-day battery, looks stylish while wearing, & that you can see the display outside in the sun & also inside (yes, Garmin I'm talking about you). Right now I'm considering returning this watch & eyeing the new Fitbit Sense that comes out later this month. Keep trying, Samsung!
