the phone gets good reception, the sound is good. the speaker phone works nice.it takes OK pictures, but it is very sensitive to motion and they come out blury for me.the 16Gigabyte micro sd is aswome! I can load all my MP3's on it, and listen for hours.the only problem I have is a few months ago, I dialed 911. the phone couldnt connect.I'm certain its the service provider, but they insist its my phone.

My six year old has this phone and loves it! It is easy for her to use and she never has any problems with it! I got it on ebay for $25! Very good value and phone! Kajeet service is also awesome!

I received this phone as a gift in September 2009. Everything worked and if you asked me 2 weeks ago I would give it a 4 star.2 weeks a ago all of a sudden the touch screen stopped responding to tapping (finger or stylus) and I mean it's totally unresponsive! I didn't drop it or pour water over it when it stopped working (normal office/home usage is how I would classify my usage pattern). The only thing is good for is the receiving call via physical button - which renders this phone totally useless unlike other keypad phone even if something dosen't work.I cannot retrieve any data because connection via USB requires tapping - mere 9 months of normal use and the touch screen is dead - I would not get a Samsung phone for a long time.

Not sure if its connected to a total reset of my cellphone (loss of setting), the next day that occur the 1st time I used it, but that did occur.Its better made than I expected for the price: (1) the charger still works; (2) still seems solid in spite of use, (3) retracable cord is best feature.

I can't really say how well we like the phone as I haven't received it and now don't plan to. I ordered (before noon as stated on their website, Kajeet's, NOT Amazon, for same day shipping) & paid for priority overnight shipping, but the next day when I was to receive it- nothing! I called, they said "Oops, not processed yet." No reason given! Just that for some reason it "missed" being processed. They offered to refund my shipping - which is the same as NOTHING as the salesman had already offered me free shipping if I wanted to go with 2 day ship. Now I'm looking at a 4-day ship! I would like to tell you how we liked the phone, but can't as we're most likely canceling our order. This was supposed to be a birthday git for our son whose birthday is this weekend, not next week! So I would say if you don't mind not knowing when you'll receive your phone you cold go ahead and try them. I figure though, if they're going to lie to me up front, then I can't really trust them in the future.They also told me if I ordered from somewhere else, like Amazon, I couldn't get the special they were running! But if I'd ordered from Amazon I'd at least have a phone now :(

This is one of the best gifts I have given to my wife. She just loves this phone. It has music, its a phone and it has lots of internal memory. I have an iPhone for myself but this phone has features that even the iphone does not have like Video recording and zooming in with the camera. The only drawback on this phone as far as I can see is that it does not have a speakerphone. Dunno how Samsung missed that as you can play the music thru the speakers. But that is is not a major concern. Infact Samsung customer service has written back to my query as to saying that this model does have a speakerphone and given me steps how to use it. I just haven't tried it yet. All in all a good buy as it can be used anywhere in the world. Also another piece of update is that when you switch on the phone it says its a QUAD band phone which is not as per the description but again its more than what you would expect as Quad is better than Triband. This GSM phone is hard to find as it was originally launched only for Verizon. So for the cost its really worth it.Hope this helps all the future buyers.

I have had many chargers (especially for the car) break after just a few uses, but this charger is PERFECT. I have had no problems at all with it. it's perfect to charge my phone on-the-go. I would have paid MUCH more for the same product; I can't believe the cheap price tag. this is exactly what I wanted & very fast shipping from seller. thank you!

I bought two of these chargers about three months ago and they are both broken already. The sideways phone connector does not fit well into the phone with the charger cover flipped open, so you have to force the charger into the slot. This caused the connector plastic to break open, exposing the wires, which broke soon after. Stay away.

I bought one of these for a Spanish speaking friend and it came with English and a few obscure Asian language interfaces so I could not give the gift because she can not read English. You would think any S5233 international version should have Spanish as an option

i bought this item, and it's really great!i was searching for this very rare model of samsung phone for several years, and finally i have it.this phone is just like an mp3 player, but slightly larger. it really looks like an mp3 player, an you can just hang it anywhere using a strap. i'm using it paired with a sony bluetooth headset and the sound is great. the 2mp camera is also good and clear. the battery life is beyond my expectations since its really good.the price and shippng is good. the item is good, new and sealed in box.thank you for selling this great item!

Quality seems as good as OEM. I like the retractable cord becase it is not a mess in your glove box. I've have and have had several other cell phones for which I've bought the same style. The coiled ones are a mess in the glove box and get tangled up in everything. The cords could probably carry 220 volts which is over-kill. The price was very good even with shipping, I believe mine was from BarganCell and they only charge $2.95 per item.

Why cant products last more than a year. In my family there are three of these phones. Only one still charges, so when the other two have to charge with have to put their batteries in that phone. But now that phone is nearly the end of its life. the charge ports break too easily. if you want a phone that will last the full contract period, i suggest something else. i just want a quality made product that will last for multiple years not one, but those days are long gone(thank you china manufacturing).

I am not very much into Windows operating system but had to buy this in order to be able to synchronize it at work.... This phone has exceded my expectations... it has a good size and looks good as well, the internet is not browsing is not a charm but works (if you plan to buy it to use internet intensively, try an iPhone)....

We bought the Samsung phone and Kajeet service for our son's 13th birthday and have been nothing but happy with the service. The phone is pretty basic, but the online service from Kajeet is fabulous.We can put money into separate "wallets" on the Kajeet site and select whose "wallet" calls and text messages come out of. Calls and texts to parents and grandparents come out of our "wallet," while calls and texts to friends are paid for by our son.It's a really great choice for a first phone.
