outdated but works great. also
outdated but works great. also, it drains a lot of battery. i never got around to figuring out why but I always carry a charger around so it didn't bother me.

I ultimately returned this phone to the seller. I could not get Verizon to activate the phone.
It was advertised as a Verizon phone. But, it was an Alltel phone, which was purchased by Verizon and then sold. Verizon no longer supports any Alltel devices.
I gave it 2 stars simply because I can't say anything about how the phone operates.
Beware!

did not know "international sourced" phone meant cant use in tbe UNITED STATES... thanks for that cause im still waiting to hear from samsung if i can use it while my phone is cracking more every day...

Samsung knows what they're doing.
This by far, is one of the best ease-of-use cells phones I've owned. It has way many more features than I need in a phone. The only issue is the battery not having that same mogo power as when new. I'm one year in use and planning for a second, till the insurance is up.

I had a G'Zone Boulder before this phone and hoped it would be as rugged. It is, however I don't think it's "waterPROOF". It's water RESISTANT. I drop this phone from 6 ft(out of a truck) daily, and it keeps on ticking. Of course, after 2 years of abuse it's on it's death bed. About 75% of the time now I can't hear the person I'm talking to, or trying to call. With a nice 'WHACK' to the face it repairs itself for a while. It also is starting to turn off like it has a short in it. I'd have to say it was a good phone for a "free" upgrade, and for the constant butt kicking I give it, it stays in the ring pretty well. I wouldn't pay more than $50 for a new one though just because of it's dated techno parts.

I did not want to get a phone from Verizon and have to agree to another 2 yr. contract. They also wanted WAY too much to buy the phone directly from them.
I took a shot and bought a used one to avoid these pitfalls and I must say I was highly impressed. The item is in graet shape and works very well and as described. I am happy I bought used from amazon and I will be more apt to do so in the future!

Not because Apple is cooler or makes a better phone, but because of content
If I woukd have stuck with Android this would have been my go to phone, but I went with the 6 Plus. Not because Apple is cooler or makes a better phone, but because of content. Better apps across the board. I create music and Apple has a much more music apps for iOS than android. If it weren't for that, I'd be with the Note 4.

I love this phone I needed a phone that I could text on and if I drpped it wouldn't break. This phone has great speakers and good signal. I put it through the wash and got it wet during a horrible rain storm and have dropped it down 3 flights of stairs and the only thing that doesn't work on it is the camera. Honestly its not a big deal. No camera vs. Buying a new phone I would much rather take the no camera. Highly recommend!!!

The phone was delivered within estimated delivery date. When I turned on the phone the display was slightly cracked and the images on the screen would not display properly. The pixals looked all jumbled, then the screen would go blank. I returned the phone and was refunded promptly. This is one item I will not buy online again.

The phone is a great piece of technology! and delivery was speedy. But it is region locked to America which can be a migraine for those who like to travel.

Perfection
This phone perfect. I love this phone. I am not bound to bloatware and network plans. I am abke to continue my unlimited data. I use this phone for business and fun. Just a minir issue. There are some yellow (warm) and blue (cool) patches on the screen. I am very picky with detail and noticed this issue. Other than that, phone is great.

My 15 yr old daughter doesn't really like this phone much, but that is OK because it has lasted her a while now with out it being broken or fried from water damage. I love this phone, wish I would have gotten it for her 1st!!!!! This is like the 7th phone she has gone through in 3 years. Dropped in the sink, toilet, snow, just left it in the bathroom while taking a shower (for an hour.....) or maybe it broke from horse playing with her younger bother. Whatever the case may be, unlike the others, this phone is holding up. Not sure if it will last more than 6 months, hopefully, but its done better than most so far. Can't really say a lot about features or use of the phone. She txts about a million times a day and actually talks on it once in a while (usually only when I call). The camera works well so far as I know. But other than that, it is holding up to a 15 yr old, that works for me!

Didn't work with a new t-mobile connection
The phone looked fine but it didn't work out for me. I wanted to use it with a new t-mobile connection but I couldn't get either WiFi calling or 4gLTE to work unless I got a phone from t-mobile with their software on it. - Neha (Mark's wife)

Best smart phone HANDS DOWN
Best smartphone I've ever owned. No headphones in the box...which was annoying, but whatever have my s5 headphones still.
5 stars for the phone
1 star for at&t's ugly packaging
3 stars for incomplete set (missing head phones you would expect from a brand new galaxy device)
Overall 3 stars. From now on I'm sticking to deals on used like new devices like I usually do..

This cell phone is ultra tiny. That's why I bought it. But, I was disappointed to find out that the reception on this phone is very poor. I've never had a problem with my service provider, so I had to assume it was the phone. It drops calls 50% of the time, and there is always background static and noise. The software doesn't seem reliable either. Sometimes the phone will stall, and I need to turn it off and then on again. I will be buying a new phone very soon.
