After 5 months of trying to live with my first (and last) iphone I finally had enough and went back to what I should have bought in the first place. Fantastic piece of kit without all the apple handcuffs. The very few useful features on the iphone are not worth it over the excellent android system. Apple's awful itunes software is a nightmare to use and the fact you cant expand the iphone's memory make it easy to go back to the Samsung.

Hi I just bought this phone for my wife to ...
Hi I just bought this phone for my wife to replace her original Galaxy Note, and She has now found it does not accept her standard Sim card - only micro Sim. This is NOT mentioned anywhere on the Product information above, and only appears on Customer Q&A at the bottom.
I would not have bought the phone if I had known. She now has the hassle of getting a new O2 micro Sim card, changing the number back to her original memorable number and transferring her address book. Not impressed !!

Very pleased
I love this phone! Years ago, the Galaxy Note was all I wanted but I could never afford one. Now I've waited til the Note 2 is an older model and therefore affordable. And wow, it is fabulous. I'm still learning all the features, especially all the things you can do with the S pen. It's fabulous.

Love it!
Hardware wise this sits inbetween the S3 and the S4, so its a more than competent phone for todays needs and various apps. Big screen, big battery, big case, big pen... you get the idea, theres nothing small about this phone. Having said that i find it prefectly managable day to day and I also use the Strava app when cycling with the phone in my pocket to map my route with no problems.

Got this to replace an S2
When I got it, it felt huge, but now it just feels normal.
All the functionality I need, and can also use it to watch TV.
Brilliant with maps for hill walking.
I have NO regrets over getting this at all.
Put a 64GB card in it, and the memory combined is a HUGE 80Gb.
Be even better when Vodafone get around to releasing the latest Android for it.

Brilliant device, although the company who we purchased it from .....
We received a blackberry AC plug which you plug the USB cable into. I can't picture Samsung selling blackberry plugs, and the phone manual was all in French which made the setup a little bit harder then required.

Beaten Up and Eaten By Dogs But It's A Samsung !
Dog-chewed bevel edging, disappointing but the seller sent me a spare recplacement back for it. The phone works. Today I ordered a replacement battery as the one in the phone doesn't charge sufficiently to last all day anymore.

Best damn phone on the planet
Great screen sound video playback speedy processor great battery life all other phones seem too small once I had this a day or two! cant think how I managed before, s pen is great for texting and taking a quick note on the fly! Can playback hd videos on the tv using hdmi adapter from Samsung via the usb port. Oh and the camera is fantastic too!

Samsung Does It Again!!!!!!
5.5" of beautiful screen packed into such a slim pocketable device. With Jelly Bean onboard and project butter everything runs beautifully smooth with NO LAG. The Spen is more useful than you realise for taking notes and multitasking is a dream compared to the Iphone 5. Samsung really has nailed it with this Phablet well done Samsung and thank you Amazon for quick delivery. 5 stars all round...

Amazing phone!
My partner has bad eyesight and the amazing screen and the size and ease of use of this phone was perfect for her. We are both getting lots of enjoyment out of watching films in bed with it and playing games with the kids on the huge screen. I thought the size might be impractical but you get use to it very fast and soon every other phone seems tiny.

Get ahead with a Smartphone!
If you want an easy to get to know Smartphone then this is one. The technology had marched onward leaving me behind until I plucked up the courage and got me a hold of this through Amazon. Simply excellent and so far highly reliable. Just love it. Well done Samsung - well done Amazon!

Very happy
Yes it is a large phone but I am very happy with it. I put it in a coat pocked and it s like having a mini computer in your pocket. Would buy again. Not used the stylus much but I'd still say its useful. If I'd wanted a simple phone I'd get something smaller but for the extras I think this is great.

Fantastic phablet!
I've been really impressed with the quality and performance of Samsung Galaxy Note II. All the functionality available plus the amazing ability to write notes/sketches/etc help me in my job and personal management. The size is also surprising, for being so easy to handle. I've bought one to my wife (who simple left behind her iPhone 4) and one to myself!

Gorgeous phat phone!
this item i thought about when i reviewed phones, something i always use especially for internet and socialising, now i can use more of it and see things clearly. its a big phone, if your one to put phones in your pocket, dont bother, the smaller samsungs are better for that.
im still getting used to the phone but love it.

Make sure if it says it's new it is
Bought this phone for my mother as her note 2 is dieing. Shipping was fast and the phone supposed to be new looked as such but within 4 days the screen went bad and it would also not pick up the network and I am not so sure it was brand new and not a refurbished one, so am in the process of sending the unit back and getting a refund.It's a pity because my mother who is in her 70's likes the note 2

I was a long-time Samsung customer but no longer as I know now if any of my products had a fault then they'll provide poor custo
IMPORTANTt: Wifi functionality disabled after 3 weeks of usage. Google this model and you'll find many consumers on various forums who have complained about loss of wi-fi without wi-fi it is as much use as a disposable mobile phone.
Be warned, Samsung and complaints resolution is a total farce as they seek to avoid taking responsibility of faulty products and try to deflect blame away from their manufacturing processes.

Great phablet
I don't use my mobile much for calls and when I needed to upgrade I decided this would suit my needs better due to the larger screen.
I appreciate it may be too big for some but I love it, great for internet and also my kindle books. Overall very pleased with my purchase

Fantastic product!
I've just move from iPhone and iOS to this fantastic device! The screen is amazing, although it takes some getting used to after the small iPhone 5. But it's a must buy, top smart phone on the market! If you're even just thinking about swapping from iOS - this is the phone for you.
