It's a good product...until the Note 2 arrived
I must say I enjoyed the short stint I had with this device. I had a Samsung S3 that I really liked but I preferred this one because of its note taking capabilities. A few months later, Note 2 comes and I upgraded to that.
The Note behaved entirely different from the S3. I was hoping that some of the S3 features were in Note, but it wasn't. For example, Note didn't have the ability to scroll the top menu (where you have wifi, blue tooth, sound, etc). You were limited to 5 basic functions (wifi, bluetooth, gps, sound and auto rotation). There are more features that Note missed from S3.
Fortunately, Note 2 is an S3 in Note form. This is probably the best device to get now. I would expect Note prices to drop significantly as Note 2 sales pick up. I wouldn't buy Note unless the price was half of that of a Note 2.

The best phone I have ever used....
Let me just start saying about some people here on Amazon giving the Note bad reviews cause its to big....
YOU ARE THE PROBLEM...YOU GOT TINY HANDS....GO BACK TO YOUR IPHONE 3.5" TINY SCREEN....PERIOD...
Also let me point out that this import version completely destroys the ATT version of the NOTE..
I had the ATT version and after a month of use, its a sloppy slow phone...things start to slow down and bad battery life..
GET the real version...with the Exynos GPU...
I have my Note running a 1ghz down from 1.4ghz, and let me tell you its buttery smooth...especially with ICS.
Also the middle button is 10x better than those capacitive buttons on the US version..You don't have to look at it when your driving and need to exit any app..NO LTE meaning no battery life drainage..meaning it runs fine on HSDPS+....And my favorite part about it is the rooting community...
It has so much support compare to the US Note....

Slow speed
Can anyone tell me why I am getitng extremly slow speed with my Galaxy GTN7000 the first two weeks it was lighting fast and then it slow down to dial up speed. Am i doing something wrong? Can anyone help? I am with AT&T unlimited plan

Cons. Requires two hand operation. Impossible quickly respond to the call - first you have to press on the side, then unlock by swipping or tapping with your finger, then kiss it and if the client still has time - start talking. Very sensitive screen - one wrong move of the finger and you're somewhere else into another menu. etc, etc... probably all smartphones have these issues. Not laud enough for me - my Samsung rougby has much stronger volume. When you close to heavy equipemnt you hardly hear your opponent. This was my first one and I return it back the day I received it.
Pros. Large screen, crisp, fast internet, good for them who has bad vision or enough time to be precise with thgeir fingers.
I don't have this time. I'm getting 50-150 tel calls a day, so I needed one botton one push operation
Didn't check photo and video cameras, assuming that they both have poor quality in comparison with my photo/video equipment

So it was money wasted!!
This phone's system was very outdated and the sim card reader broke after a couple of months. So it was money wasted!!! Please be careful buying phones on here!!!!!

Cheating with the prices here , advertised price is $275.00 but after selecting the item the price is changing to $450..Its bad.

Samsung Galaxy Note Rock's!!!!
I Bought this Samsung Galaxy Note because, I love bigger screen's...I was completely WoWeD when I opened the box. The Galaxy Note is one of the Best Phone's I have ever had. And I had the I-phone 4S And the Droid, and I would still pick this phone any day. I can't go anywhere with out people stopping me to ask me if that's a phone, and where I bought it. Display is really Good, Opening Web Page's is really fast, Also got to love the free App's from Android. You can't go wrong with the Galaxy Note...:)

Best cell phone ever.
Looking for a phone that was large enough and bright in daylight, a quality camera, GPS + GLONASS and able to buy a rugged case for. This phone can not be beat. I have had other phones include iphone and for what I needed there is nothing better. I am a land surveyor and work with Search and Rescue so I needed something to fit the bill and this is it.

This is just the BEST wireless handset out there.
The screen is big and gorgeous. Bright and vivid color. 5.3" of pure visual honey.
The stylus is handy.
It is speedy and smooth. Apps launch fast and moving between screens is fluid.
The 2500 mAh battery is high capacity and lasts all day.
Once you have this "phablet" phone there is no going back to smaller screens.
Audio quality is quite good through the built-in speakers and the earpiece.

Perfect for travelling
There are a ton of reviews of the Samsung Note. I wanted to cover the International aspects of this phone. It uses a full sized SIM card. Great for traveling and you don't need to special (iPhone sized card) Solid signal strength and large, easy to read screen. Sound quality is also very nice. Very happy I choose this phone.

LOVE MY PHONE. Had a Nokia N900 before and loved it....wanted something similar. I did my research and found this jewel.
