My preference would have been sticking with my old phone, but after 6 or so years of regular use, it died and had to be replaced, so I got this one a couple of weeks ago.I wanted another small-form, clamshell phone that with a long battery life, good sound quality, and alarm feature.This phone is slightly longer than the old phone, but thinner and narrower. The battery life is rated as about the same or better than the phone it is replacing, although I'm not sure yet whether the real-world battery life is as long as what was advertised. (I certainly don't have to recharge it every day, though.) It does include the alarm feature I needed. Sound quality is adequate, not great (I would rate the quality of the earpiece speaker at about 6 or 7 out of 10 stars -- very slightly garbled voices at times, not perfectly clean and crisp, and it's necessary to work to position the phone just right to get the best volume at your ear). Reception seems as good as the phone it was replacing.The main feature I miss is the absence of any window showing who is calling when the phone is ringing -- it's necessary to open the case to see who is calling. At least it is possible to adjust the settings so that the phone only answers a call when you press the accept button (the default setting is to answer as soon as the cover is raised).This phone's case is not as durable as that of the phone it is replacing, which had an almost rubberized feel to the case. I accidentally dropped the new phone last night on the garage floor, and the outside of the case shows a few tiny scratch marks already. The few times I dropped my old phone, it never showed scratches.It was also a pain in the rear to get the messaging and internet features activated with my carrier. Carriers provide lots of info on how to set up the latest smartphones, but virtually no info on how to set up those features on phones with older technology, like this one. The manufacturer's website provided no help whatsoever, since they apparently did not intend for this phone to be used by US carriers. (The manufacturer's website does provide detailed info on how to set up this or very similar model phones for use on carriers outside the US, though.) It took several hours of internet searching, messaging, and calls to my carrier, but eventually I was able to get it all sorted out.I would have preferred a phone with US warranty, but Amazon was only selling the silver version of the phone with US warrantly at the time of my purchase, while I wanted the black version (which came with no US warranty). So far, the phone I received seems to be working well, so I am not as concerned about needed warranty-type servicing.However, apart from the issues with setting up the phone for use with US carriers that I previously mentioned, another issue is that the phone I received did not include a US-type charger in the box; it came with a charger that seems to be a British-style plug (as I believe is used in Hong Kong, Singapore, Vietnam). Someone, apparently the seller opened the box to add a bulky adaptor to accommodate the foreign charger to US electrical sockets. I would much have preferred that the seller had simply added a US-type adaptor to the outer packaging (or, better yet, had added a regular US charger cord instead of a large, clunky adaptor), rather than opened the manufacturer's original case, since in this age of widespread identity theft, there is no telling what security issues are raised once the original manufacturer's case has been breached. Buyer's would feel more comfortable with their purchase, given all of that, if the description of the item in the ad mentioned that the case would have been opened to add an adaptor.Overall, I would purchase this phone again, but probably would opt for the US warranty phone, despite the color, next time.

The Samsung GT-C3520 is an awesome device for any user that just needs a phone. I bought this device specifically for my grandmother who only needs a phone phone. The call quality was clear when using the device (AT&T 3G with four bars out of five service) and simply does just that. Make phone calls. The best part about this is that it is an unlocked device so you may take this to any GSM provider around the world or even in the United States (AT&T, T-Mobile USA, TracFone, Straight Talk, etc...) by inserting the appropriate SIM card. I myself have done this in many foreign countries and have saved a ton of money in roaming charges.Some extras on the device include:-microSD: store photos and music to listen on the go. Great for listening to tunes on the go.-Bluetooth: Connect it to any Bluetooth device such as a headphone for hands-free calling or Bluetooth speakers-FM Radio: If you like listening to radio instead of stored music, this is great too.-It's a phone: This mobile device puts forward the feature that a phone should be built around on. Actually making a phone call.-Old Person Friendly/Kid's First Phone: The interface is easy enough for a senior to navigate and use the device. It also doubles a great starter mobile for kids so they can keep in contact with you while also being able to listen to their music too without lugging around an extra iPod or MP3 player.Overall, it is great for seniors, being the first phone for your kid, or for your vacation to keep in touch without racking up huge phone bills.

This phone was purchased for a child's first cellphone. This somewhat rugged cellphone is a great find for today, the day of the touchphones! Who in the world would want a easy to use flip phone?1) A young child that wants a first cellphone just to text on, make phone calls, listen to FM Radio or listen to MP3 songs! This phone is so so easy to set up and use. This is for someone who just needs to make phone calls sometimes and does NOT need to get on the Internet (data). It does NOT have WiFi in this phone. But it can be set up with APN settings to use data if you have a data plan with AT&T, T-Mobile etc.2) Seniors who want a "Phone, Phone" with no bells and whistles that is easy to set up and use! This is a carefree, no fancy stuff type of phone. If you just want the basics in a phone: Flip phone style, MP3 (music player), camera, FM Radio, this is the phone for you.3)People who want the basic type of phone that you can use for PrePaid minutes or GoPhone minutes with ANY GSM provider with no contract such as AT&T, T-Mobile, Simple Mobile, etc. I would advice one of these as they just need to be added to once a year:Both AT&T and T-Mobile offer prepaid minutes of 1,000 minutes good for ONE YEAR for just $100 per year--this is just 10 cents per minute for phone calls with NO CONTRACT! As far as costs for text messages, AT&T charges 20 cents to receive and 25 cents to send (Ouch), these come out of your minutes balance. T-Mobile is cheaper for texts, they just charge 10 cents to receive and I think it is 20 cents to send.When you get the YEARLY PREPAID of just $100 with either AT&T or T-Mobile, this is the CHEAPEST way to go if you do not need lots of minutes and the cost is LESS THAN $10 per month.Thank you for reading this review, if you have any questions, please ask in the comments and I will be happy to answer all questions...

The phone arrived on time and in excellent condition. It's an absolutely great phone.The downside is, the two I received are optimized for European customers. The chargers are the large circular prong chargers used in Europe and although they were shipped with adapters as well, it isn't as convenient as I had hoped. You also can only set the date as DD/MM/YYYY or YYYY/MM/DD. There is no option for MM/DD/YYYY for US customers where this format is standard.There is also no data cable included, which is standard with the models I have purchased in the US.Otherwise it's a great price and arrived quickly. But American customers be warned that you are purchasing a European phone.

The first review I wrote for this phone, I was incredibly irritated because I was having nothing but problems with it. I have given it a few days, and I'm no longer experiencing problems with it. Overall, this is a simple, nice phone. I used to have a smart phone with Android and yes, I loved it..but I grew tired of it. The only thing I did was use up my data and download stupid apps. I am glad I decided to purchase this phone--because in reality, all I do is call, text, use the calendar and the alarms.It did take a while to get here, which kind of sucked, but it was okay.

I bought this phone as a gift for my grandma. She was in dire need of another one and I did my research to find a nice, easy to use phone for her, considering that she was elderly. The phone has a textured surface, but when flipped, has very big buttons for calling. Perfect for her! I programmed it all for her and it works well - clear voice calling, but we did not test out text messaging, since she has no use for that. Overall, it's a very nice looking phone for the older generation and she was completely satisfied with it. Therefore, I am as well!

Not the most advance phone but great for what it was built for - phone calls.it's slippery and a little difficult to flip open - i guess no one will ever build a phone like captain kirk's communicator... but why?????...mfgs are not even building phones anymore...probably because the networks don't want just a phone - guess the revenue stream is not great enough.

I bought this phone for my husband since his other phone is completely obsolete and about 5 years old. He started using it and already I am impressed with the phone. He says he has to get use to the phone and the options, but he already stated he can hear everyone MUCH better and I can definitely hear him better too. The volume for the music on his MicroSD card is fantastic and so glad it came with earpieces so he can now listen privately to all his music.

This is not a good phone. It does not even automatically set the time, and its software is quite poor. It was to be a replacement for my wife's Motorola Razor flip phone (she wanted another flip phone). There aren't many available, so we tried this one. The color is not accurate, and it is the ugliest shade of red I ever saw. I cannot recommend this phone. Amazon refunded this purchase upon return. Amazon's service is top-notch.

I got these phones for me and my wife. All we want is to talk plus I use the Calendar for reminders. Also look forward to getting local SIM cards when we travel abroad. This phone is great: nice big clear display and really good battery life. I have a pre-pay plan so can't take advantage of the data possibilities. Highly recommend.

Awesome phone, my dad has loved it. Nice replacement for his outdated motorola v3. As it is unlocked, this phone works with Claro and Orange networks in the Dominican Republic. Havent tried it on other networks.

Wonderful flip phone! Unlocked version. The only reason I did not give this a 5 star rating is because the camera is low quality but is IS a phone! Pretty, easy to read and easy to navigate! I would definitely order this again!

I love this phone. I just wanted something simple and I wanted something that would close completely so that the other things in my purse would not scratch and mess it up. Also - I have not had any problems with this phone being unlocked. My husband has probably purchased about a dozen different phones from online sellers who say the phone is new and unlocked. This is never the case. None of the phones are truly new and if they are they are not a good qulity version even when they are advertised as being the U.S. version (they are not). This phone was exactly as advertised - it's simple and easy and has no problems whatsoever.

I only had this phone for a short time because one of the advertised features, Bluetooth capability, is severely limited. While this phone has Bluetooth, it will only 'pair' with another Samsung device - or so the Samsung support staff said. I know these phones (I tried a second phone to ensure that I was not dealing with a defective phone) would not pair with any of my three non-Samsung devices so since I didn't want to replace my devices with Samsung items, I returned the phone. I think the descriptions of this phone should point out this limitation.

Мобильный телефон находится в эксплуатации шесть месяцев , поэтому на него распространяется гарантия.
Фердинанд Хьюманн купил складной телефон Samsung C3520, потому что у меня также была предыдущая модель C3520, и я был полностью доволен ею, хотя она была вдвое дешевле. Текущее устройство имеет проблемы
При закрытой крышке часто можно увидеть боковую утечку света,но в начале батарея разряжается (не выключается)
Если я быстро нажму кнопку Конец вызова, телефон полностью выключится и перезагрузится. Устройство было доставлено 09.12.2020, то есть примерно за 6 месяцев. Счет-фактура №81202 Клиент №79392

Практичный и простой в использовании!
У моего мужа уже был такой мобильный телефон, но, к сожалению, он отказался от него. К счастью, я нашел ту же модель и сразу же заказал ее. Ему нравится, что им легко пользоваться, так как он много путешествует пешком – его можно легко подключить, а откидная крышка также защищает его. Что мне еще нужно сделать, так это воспроизвести ему его любимую мелодию звонка с компьютера. :-)

Я больше никогда не закажу выкуренный мобильный телефон. Didplay поцарапан, немецкого описания нет. Мы немедленно повторно настроили эту статью. Надеюсь, что зачет (99,00) будет получен быстро.
