this is the same ram as what come in the laptop. the laptop came with (1) 8gb stick and (1) empty slot. I installed this into the empty slot and boom, runs significantly faster now.

A friend in Seattle ad a laptop that couldn't be fixed by a repair person he took it to so he sent it to me. We ran a mem test and decided that perhaps the RAM was bad so we replaced it with this. Also, Windows wouldn't boot so we installed Kubuntu and it works perfectly!

It was much less expensive to add RAM than to buy a new laptop with 12gb. I usually use Kingston but this Samsung exactly met the mfg description and was at a good price point. I installed it in 2 seconds (after the case was off!). Rebooted and the 8gb was recognised by the system with ease. Unit is running all types of programs now better and faster than ever. I recommend this chip for a HP 15-db00031nr laptop.

I cant really do any benchmarks on this, but its working great on my HP Elitebook 820 G3. Its work laptop and i was desperately in need of a memory upgrade due to really stressing my laptop for work. Kept running out of memory, forcing me to close apps so that I could run docker. Problem went away. Original Samsung chipset. Dropped it, powered back up and back to business.

Good memory for the price. It was read with no problems when installed. I'm no memory expert so I can't speak for it's tech specs. but it works fine for my needs. I use it for school and gaming with no issues.

Have ordered two of them to expand memory for Acer laptops with just 4 GB memory soldiered on the board.

This memory module was delivered to me in excellent condition. The seller packed the memory module inside of a clean box with plenty of packing material. The seller also sealed the memory module inside of a specially-designed plastic bag to prevent electrostatic damage to the item.
The specifications of the delivered memory module were exactly as advertised. I was able to install it inside of my laptop without any issue. I installed the module inside of an HP Pavilion 15 Gaming laptop. It pairs flawlessly with the single Samsung 8 GB module that comes with the laptop. Now I have 16 GB of system memory to handle heavier gaming and multitasking loads.

This is by far the best and more reliable memory module that your money can buy. Don't waist your time and money with others. Do it right. You don't play with memory and SSD, go Samsung ! Very happy with speed and reliability of this product that I bought to expand my laptop with 4GB making a total of 12GB on my current Acer 5 Slim laptop. Enjoy it !

Got two of these to go from 8 to 16GB in my little Acer Aspire 5. They snaped right in after removing the two 4's. So simple and smooth I just went ahead and put all 10 screws back into the back and fired her up. They work perfectly. A quick tip - to check the total ram in win 10 after you start up just press the windows key and the pause key at the same time. A little window will pop up and let you see how much ram you now have. It should match what you put in or uh, oh. Mine did.

Ram arrived quickly and was easy to install after watching a couple of videos. I removed my battery, which only took a minute, as an added precaution. I then rebooted the computer and everything works great. I was able to double the ram on my computer for an extra $35.

I needed an extra 8GB SODIMM for a gaming laptop I was upgrading and this fit the bill perfectly. The price was excellent and the performance is perfect in combination with the memory module already in the laptop.

A recent computer I purchased came with only 8 GB of RAM and I sure wanted to open up both channels of processing and enjoy the performance boost. This item was exactly as advertised and packaged like something I paid for at a few hundred dollars.

I purchased this specific memory because my new laptop came with 12gb's of RAM. 1 8gb and one 4. The 8gb was this model.Removed the 4 and installed this 8GB stick. Installed with no problem and it is working perfectly.

Marketed as new OEM RAM. Did not arrive in an anti-static bag, with black sharpie marker all over it. Took the gamble and installed it anyways. Well, this RAM was DOA and wouldn’t even post. Even tried the other RAM slot and even another laptop. This RAM obviously was not new and was a waste of my time.

Works great. Plenty of instructions on line about how to upgrade. Good quality name brand RAM that works great in my Lenovo Yoga. I would purchase this again for sure. Was a great deal for the money.

This memory was exactly the upgrade that I needed. Swap out the old 4 GB DIMM and put this one in, and it worked straight out of the box. Did a memory test to make sure everything was fine, and it passed with flying colors. Good value for what I paid for it.

... quando se andate a vedere moduli simili di altre marche potete trovarli anche sui 75 €
✔️ : io sono praticamente stato obbligato a prendere questo modello, visto che il mio PC montava lo stesso modulo da 8 GB infatti ...

Se volete mantenere i vecchi moduli di RAM che avete installato NON COMPRATE MARCHE DIVERSE.
PERCHE' POTRESTE AVERE PROBLEMI DI COMPATIBILITA' ED IL PC POTREBBE ANCHE NON PARTIRE.
Quindi non cercate di risparmiare pochi euro, ma cercate sempre moduli della stessa marca e possibilmente stesso modello.

💡 : Avendo preso questo modulo, dello stesso modello del banco che avevo da 8 GB, mi sono ritrovato ad avere gli stessi valori di CAS Latency, RAS to CAS, RAS precharge, tra i due moduli.
Ora, senza entrare del dettaglio di cosa siano questi tempi di latenza, perché non siamo tutti ingegneri elettronici e le RAM non dobbiamo andare mica a progettarle... ci basti sapere che SE questi valori SONO UGUALI tra i due banchi di RAM, POTREMO SFRUTTARE IL DUAL CHANNEL !!!

Anche qui ... senza entrare nei dettagli, ci basti sapere che è un qualcosa (di automatico) che praticamente ci raddoppia la velocità di lettura e scrittura della RAM! ⚠️ (avete capito bene!) ⚠️
Quindi... guardate le immagini benchmark che ho allegato....
Sono passato da uno scarsissimo 43% di risultato con un solo banco da 8 GB,
ad un 88 % ECCELLENTE tra i vari benchmark effettuati da tutti gli utenti.
Con un bel: "Performing way above expectations (99th percentile)"
Arrivando addirittura a oltre 35 Gigabyte al secondo in scrittura ❕❕❕
📣 : CONCLUSIONI
Direi che la RAM è ottima e vale spendere qualche euro in più rispetto alle kingston, crucial o ad altre marche concorrenti
⚠️ PERO' :
come detto prima, cercate di tenere sempre moduli di RAM uguali...
quindi a voi la scelta...
se avete già un banco diverso, o ne cercate uno della stessa marca e modello, oppure togliete tutto e ne installate due di questi (... siete liberi di metterne due da 8GB, due da 16GB, o come ho fatto io uno da 8GB e uno da 16GB).
Così avrete le prestazioni OTTIMALI! ✌️✌️✌️

Non confondente "Dual Channel" con "Dual Rank" che potete trovare scritto nelle specifiche di un banco, perché quest'ultimo indica solo che i chip del banco sono montati su entrambi i lati (come in questo modulo)
