Excellent. Received the exact model.
I got exactly what I was looking for which is Samsung M471A5244CB0-CTD. My HP laptop already has another 4GB of this exact model. Memory is not going to be issue with total 8 gigs. More importantly I am hoping the dual channel would make FORTRAN programs run a bit faster.
The price is slightly on the higher side but I didn't want to risk using a mismatched(even a bit) pair of RAMs.

1st of all it is too much overpriced for Brand.
2nd the same RAM for Desktop priced around Rs. 2300/-
3rd same specification RAM of 8GB from same brand Priced around Rs. 6000/-
4th after all this above in consideration may be the sellers gone mad to sell this 4gb laptop RAM with their fictitious price.
frankly tell you guys you can get these RAM or same specification RAM of other brands a lot cheaper. This kind of 4GB DDR4 Laptop RAM is not worth more than Rs.2000/- even with Samsung's Branding.

Exactly same spec as original 4 GB RAM module that was installed in the Acer Aspire 5.
Have had no conflicts or problems during and after installation.
Windows and all programs works snappier and great.
Would recommend this(Samsung 4GB RAM-M471A5244CB0-CTD) upgrade to anyone using Windows 10 laptops.

I bought this for my wife's new Acer Aspire 5 (A515-43-R19L) laptop. That laptop is a pain for memory installation--you have to remove 10 screws and carefully but forcefully pry the back off the machine.
After I installed the RAM, I put it back together and turned on the laptop; it refused to boot. Didn't even bring up the Acer logo. So, take those 10 screws BACK out, pry the bottom off, pull out the new RAM and try again. It booted just fine without the new RAM. Before putting the back on again I tried several times, removing and reinstalling the RAM. No joy.
I sent it back to Amazon and ordered the same RAM again. The new RAM works just fine.
After I installed the RAM, I put it back together and turned on the laptop; it refused to boot. Didn't even bring up the Acer logo. I haven't done extensive testing of this, but it works great in my new Acer laptop. This allowed me to double my laptop memory, and the computer now feels faster in Windows10 when multiple applications are running.

I am not a gamer so I didn't buy this for that. I bought an Acer that is easy to upgrade. Was a little afraid of that because my computer skills are limited. But I followed the instructions to install this RAM and it was very simple. Removed 10 screws, plugged it in the slot, put the back of laptop back on and powered up. Googled how to check if the computer recognized the RAM and it was there and working. Can't speak to an increase in speed. But the original RAM installed was over half used up with operating system? So I knew I would need more eventually. This was a great purchase for me. Would say buy it.

Easy to install. Google the YouTube video and just follow along. Hardest part was finding the 10 minutes to do it. Same RAM as the one in the laptop. With twice the memory, my programs run seamlessly.

Nothing quite as satisfying as clicking some ram in an empty slot on your laptop and hearing that noise. "I fit and I'll make your computer run only slightly noticeably faster!!" it says. I smile and gently stroke it, then slapping the back plate on it viciously and hoping the computer turns on and recognizes it. She boots right up, snappy. Man, RAM is a lot cheaper nowadays but that noise is well worth the price tag. I wish I could hear it on my birthday when I first wake.

The Acer Aspire 5 Slim laptop only comes with 4gb, a single stick, of DDR4 SODIMM ram. It would be normally enough for a simple cheap laptop, but the vega GPU eats up 2GB of that at all times. So, another 4GB was a nice little upgrade.
Same model as the one that came with the laptop, went in easy and smooth. Plugged the battery cable back, booted normally and has worked great since. Now I have 6GB available for the CPU, instead of just 2GB.
Recommend this as a simple upgrade for any laptop owner, especially Acer Aspire 5 Slim folks.

Worked good for 8 months then speaker went out. Then when trying to use for school the filament at upper left top of screen was obviously damaged. The screen shakes , see photo. Is it fixable or did I throw away $600? I just ordered another one for my 2nd grandson and same problem off and on with speaker.Unfortunatly I ordered the 2nd one before the problem with the first. Is there a warranty?

This was recommended when I got this new ACER Aspire computer. I bought it and forgot that I had it for months. Then I found it again and installed it. It seriously increased the performance of the computer. I found a video on Youtube that told me exactly what to do so it was very easy.

installed this in my new acer5 slim laptop found it and doubled my speed for the price you are not gonna find a better memory stick UPDATE: had to return ram after 2 days was getting boot errors tested the ram stick and it had problems being a computer tech i know this happens at times just my bad luck i would still recommend this ram for the price and ill update when i get new stick

bought an Acer laptop and this was recommended, if adding additional RAM. I received both laptop and this at same time. Didn't even turn the laptop on, just installed this RAM, then started laptop. Additional RAM was recognized and away I went. Laptop runs quick and I can run multiple programs at the same time without any lag.

I bought this to add a second stick of RAM for my Acer Aspire 5 to run in Dual Channel. Easy to install and the laptop/Windows accepted it with no issues. A single stick of 4GB would not allow for great gaming performance at all but with a total of 8GB, gives you a fighting chance (with the Aspire 5). *I reviewed that laptop as well.

I was a bit concerned about opening the back of a new computer and adding the RAM but after viewing a video on it, it turned out to be very easy and it went in without a problem. I got a 4 GB chip for a total of 8GB. In retrospect, I should have gotten two 8GB's. Just a word of caution, I put this RAM in an Acer Aspire 5 so don't get too aggressive with opening the bottom, which is plastic. I may replace the two 4GB with two 8GB at some point.

I did it watch how-to on youtube, so far no issues was a little hard to get it to snap in but that may have been me it is not at full 4gb wish a little more was stable but I am happy it worked wish they gave 8gb option on the listing because for a novice it is hard to find the write memory for laptop overall I am happy and would buy again

Before you start make sure you review how to install RAM in your particular laptop. My daughters required the use of tools designed to pry the back cover off. Once I carefully snapped the cover off the RAM installed without issue and was immediately recognized when I turned everything back on. So far no crash screens or BSOD so that is a good thing.

Definitely recommend it. Remove the 10 screws, snap the back loose and install in the empty slot. Notice that in the second slot the ram must be flipped over. Be sure to push it in ALL THE WAY and get the metal spring clips back in place so it's secure. I had absolutely no issues installing it and I've never opened up a laptop before.
In hindsight, I think 16gb would have been better, but this should suit my needs just fine.

I got my mom an Aspire 5 slim and realized it only had one stick of ram in a dual channel memory.
Seemed a bit skimpy, but once I slipped this in there, the performance took a great boost and it is worth every penny. It immediately boosted the value of that laptop and took it the the next level.
Great ram, great price. Kind of wishing 8 gig sticks were this cheap! I would have bought 2 of them for her instead haha!

Easy install in my Acer Aspire 5. Worked perfectly. Watch a YouTube video to see how to properly seat these if it's been a while or if you've never done this before. As always, don't generate static electricity...watch a video on prevention to avoid PC and memory card damage.

Used the free RAMMon app to verify brand/model of RAM currently installed. The app also has a cool link to send you straight to Amazon to find the compatible upgrade Memory Module. Received and installed the additional 4 GB Module. it was literally "plug and play". I have doubled the RAM in my HP Notebook 15-bs031 and now RAM utilization stays consistently below 50%.

I put two of these in my new Acer laptop, and it flies now. I edit video and run Boinc (distributive data). Both use large chunks of memory, and with the original slow stick only one could be run at a time. Not now.

Works great so far. Plug and play, a 3dmark score for the Night Raid benchmark went from 7,740 (7,436 GPU:10,084 CPU) with the stock single 4gb stick @3200mhz to 11,126 (11227 GPU: 10587 CPU) score with 2x4gb sticks at 2666mhz (stock and this one). I need to try to mess around with the bios still to double check some things but seems to be up and running with zero configuration.

Very easy to install. I’m not experienced at doing this type of thing and was apprehensive.... shouldn’t have been. And once installed and restarted computer it just went about it’s business... only a little faster. I’m downloading a 4.6GB video file and before upgrade it said estimated time was 9 hours.... now it’s 2 hours.
