Vivid colors that blend easily. Make sure to purchase the blending pen it gives so much more control than a water brush and keeps the colors bright. The brush tip is very flexible and easy to use just be careful not to treat them like a regular marker. As another reviewer mentioned they are not permanent, but I did not expect them to be as they are watercolor pens. I love them and will be purchasing a full set of 48. I only wish they came in more colors, but it is very easy to blend them to create colors.

Great when using with Pentel water brushes and laying color down on a plastic palette you can achieve varying colors this way as well as mix them almost like copics, Sakura makes Great products!

I think these are very good Coloring Brush Pen Set. My Granddaughter use these to color pictures already drawn. It looked very good.
I tried them just doodling. Color then use a water brush these blend nicely. They do dry fast that makes it hard to blend with turpenoid.
The colors are very vibrant. I am not a expert but I think they do a excellent job. In my opinion Sakura is a good brand. One can find video how to use them. Children see they are a brush & they just love them

Buy these!
I have several Koi watercolor travel paint sets and I purchased this for my 9 year old granddaughter. She absolutely loves these! Not to mention so do I!
I first learned about Koi with the Sakura videos on You-tube and even though I'm into the higher end paints these are great if you like to travel and doodle... Check out the videos on sakura.com!

I like that you can change the width depending on the pressure. It can make some cool designs and isn't so limited. It's really soft and glides through the paper. I love the sky blue marker, such a nice color (though nice color in general).
They also don't bleed through. Sakura in general doesn't seem to bleed through actually. I've bought like 3 different items from them, not even their sharpie like marker that comes in their Manga Sensei pack bleeds through.
To definitely get more out of this, get a colorless blender for some nice fading. If you want to shade with markers, you will have to before hand know where you wanna put your shadows, then use your blender. Not really related to the markers but it's just something in general for all markers. Only markers that don't need such things are Copic markers which are A TON of money.
Colorless blender + these markers + some patience = reasonable price to replace Copic markers.
They also dry really quickly.

Unfortunately, these are not waterproof, which is what I need for my altered books. I was bummed as the colors were what I wanted. However, upon looking at the description once again, I see that it doesn't say permanent... It doesn't say anything about that at all. As it had a manga-looking front, I automatically thought it would be permanent. So, even though I take responsibility for assuming, perhaps they can change their description to reflect this point.

These are great because they are like a brush you can hide the point for small things and push a little harder and you get a wider stroke.Lovely colors too. There is a blending pen sold separately that I wish I knew to order.

These pens work rather well and are easy to control even though they are a brush. Colors are bright and can be blended, which I haven't done much of yet. Great on watercolor paper and hot press papers like bristol too.

This product arrived on time in perfect condition and has the brightest colours I have ever seen in markers. I am hooked, can't buy any other brand now. Great for Craft Journalling and Zentangle projects! Could have been cheaper but the quality is stunning!

I love these Brush pen sets and would reccomend them to artists of all media's. All of Sakura's products are top notch in my book.
