I really had high hopes for this as a gospel artist. It was meant to be used in my virtual videos but the sound quality is quite muffled and doesn't project as clearly as some of the other sound systems that I've used. This will actually have to be returned for the simple fact that I cannot use it for the purposes intended.

I already have a Street Cube Ex I use it in small to medium venues as a solo Folk/Irish Singer/Instrumentalist I have played in front of audiences of about 100 people, this amp does the job with ease, I was always told to allow about a 1/4 watt for each person in a room, so a 50w amp is ideal. However I am going to be gigging in larger venues so I purchased another of these to join together to give a total output of 100 watts. This is a brilliant amp full of settings I don't use but at least they are onboard. I play acoustic/eclectro guitar, tin whistle and harmonica, I produce my own backing tracks. So I mainly use reverb for voice and other setting on guitar to give it a different sound especially on ballads. Example I will use a slight chorus and delay to give the guitar a beautiful sound. I heard this live at one of the Dubliners concerts some years ago when their sound engineer did it for Jim McCann when he was singing Carrickfergus. Finally Best amp I have ever owned and this Seller is excellent the product arrived factory sealed and very prompt so I highly recommend this Seller.

I thought long and hard about buying this. There are mixed reviews out there. So far it is good but not mind blowing. The vocal and acoustic guitar sound is very good. I like the sound of the reverb. It is bulky but quite portable. Only 2 XLR inputs so if you have two singers or singer and backing vocalist you lose the acoustic guitar input although you may be able to use another input. For example you can input the guitar thro aux or line inputs but then you lose the effects (reverb, chorus etc.) and levels preamp which only effect the XLR inputs. I haven't tried that yet. Alternatively you need a mic mixer. I got the Roland mic mixer and it works well into input 1 (you need a stereo cable) then guitar into input 2. The battery power on the mic mixer isn't great so that as a stand alone battery operated rig I think it is a little limited if you want multi vocalists and guitar. Maybe I expect too much but at the price of this amp I kind of want a lot. Overall I think it is a good product if pricey but before buying you need to think carefully about whether it will do the job you want.

Amazing unit for use as a guitar playing vocalist. The sound is both rich and huge. Battery life seems to be very acceptable- used for about 4 hours already on mid power level and still more than half life left in rechargeable batteries. I would recommend that a spare battery case is purchased so that if being used for a gig, it would be a simple and quick operation to swap over battery packs ( two finger screws) rather than fiddling about trying to insert new cells in the existing pack. I bought a couple of spare packs online from a music store. The only complaint I have is that when using an external music source (backing tracks) such as iPod etc using the dedicated input, the sound from this input is rather thin and tinny ( no EQ available). I am currently exploring the use of a separate battery powered EQ unit to solve this. For info, the microphone used for my testing was Shure SM58 with soprano vocalist. Guitars used have all been acoustic electric and include Taylor 814ce, Tanglewood TW4 KOA and Walden T550CE. All sound fantastic with crisp highs, warm mid range and rich powerful bass. I love this product and will no doubt be buying another to double up on sound coverage. I haven’t used it on batteries and so cannot comment on how well the amp performs, or how long the batteries last. I have however tried it at home and the sound quality and effects are far superior to the cheaper powered speakers on the market. I’m glad I spent the money on this because lm certainly not disappointed and I wholeheartedly recommend.

Excellent adaptable amp. I've only tried it out at home but it sounds great with electro acoustic and I'm sure will be at least as good with electric. Delivery was quick.

This piece of equipment will replace having to take a PA system to small venues. 50 watts-with nice sound. There are 4 inputs but only 2 of them have effects or EQ. The other two will do but are not very loud if you add a second vocalist, nor will you be able to adjust the vocal quality on a second vocalist if you have a guitar and want effect on that. If you have a keyboard with a volume knob the 3rd and 4th input work well. Other than that it is great. Light weight, does the job. Runs on batteries so you can busk or play outside at a picnic. Also comes with a power cord too. The perfect amp for a coffee house gig. Does not have a master volume. I would still recommend that every musician own one of these. I can also use this as a small monitor too. Also, came packaged well with no damage.

I have the Fishman Loudbox Artist and Roland’s StreetCube EX, and the EX outperforms the Artist in most metrics. I wish I’d bought the EX first. Its tone is vastly superior to the Artist’s — clear and sweet. It has 4 channels to the Artist’s 2; it can run on battery power, and it’s almost 10 pounds lighter. Plus, its wedge angle allows it to double as a stage monitor. It lacks the Artist’s anti-feedback switch and it’s only 50 amps to the Artist’s 120, but for situations where you 50 is enough, I think the EX is a much better value. I also compared both amps to
Fishman’s Mini Charge, and they both blow the Mini Charge away. Don’t waste your money on that one.

After having owned it's younger brothers for years, moving up to the EX was a very pleasant and rewarding experience. Lost some portability due to bigger size, however the increase in sound quality especially at higher volume levels is well worth the additional cost.
I won't ever go back to the smaller versions having previously owned both the mini-cube and street models.

This amp is perfect for busking and the 8 AA batteries somehow really do last for many hours... I haven't even pushed it yet but 3 or 4 hours so far is no problem at all. The effects built in are perfect as well. It's a little bit weak on the bottom end compared to my Crate Limo but that could be something I get used to over time. I love this thing. And it's super lightweight.

I am a church musician and public school music teacher. I loved this item so much I bought a second one. I run the metronome thru it for lessons and ensemble rehearsals. I’ve run backing tracks thru it for choir rehearsal. I’ve led worship for mid size groups and run a keyboard, guitar and vocals thru it. Super versatile. Tons of power.
