Was als erstes auffällt und fragen lässt: wie kriegt man soviel Raumfülle und Power aus 3-5 Watt heraus? Kenne diese Leistungszahl von alten Kassettendecks, also Scheppern und Kreischen bei hohen Lautstärken. Bin kein Auskenner in Sachen Gitarrenamps, daher lässt mich das staunen.
Eine schöne Fülle an Effekten, toll! Hatte mir kurz vorher ein einzelnes Chorus Effektgerät gekauft, das brauche ich jetzt nicht mehr.
Das kleine Teil wird mich also noch lange beschäftigen, zumal ich ein Neuling an der E- Gitarre bin. Natürlich verstärkt der Cube auch andere Instrumente, zB. eine Westerngitarre oder eine türkische Saz: hier nur etwas Gain im Clean Mode sowie ein wenig Chorus: traumhafte Klänge!
Manko jedoch: nur iPad/IPhone Apps. Warum keine Apps auch für Android so wie für andere Cubes? Das ist ein zwar verschmerzbarer aber doch Nachteil gegenüber Leuten die keine Apple Hardware haben und möchten.
Und ein Tipp für die Erzeuger: es wäre nicht unschlau, die gesamte Bedieneinheit samt Aufschriften nach hinten gerichtet zu haben. Warum? Ich zB. stelle den Cube so vor mir auf, dass der Lautsprecher nach vorne gerichtet ist, also von mir weg. Dadurch sind die Regler und Schalter verkehrt herum. Nehme an, kaum jemand wird den Cube zu sich richten, denn der Klang soll ja vom Gitarristen weg ertönen. Mit 180 Grad gedrehtem Bedienfeld wäre das gute Stück auch ergonomisch durchdacht.
Aber alles in allem eine gute Wahl für Einsteiger und Übende im Wohnzimmer. Kaufempfehlung auf jeden Fall!

Ampli portatile per chitarra completo e versatile. Fantastica la possibilità di utilizzarlo con le normalissime pile stilo AA. Suono Clean molto pulito e vari effetti a disposizione. Buona la potenza ...non mi sarei mai immaginato di doverlo tenere a 1/4 di manopola con soli 5Watt!! Ovviamente è per piccoli ambienti (io lo uso in una stanza 5x5) non potete pretendere di suonare dal vivo su un palco, ma questo già lo sapete ;-)
Per quanto riguarda la qualità di assemblaggio e del suono vi stupirà!

Tuve uno hace bastantes años y es el mejor que he tenido. Anteriormente tuve un Line 6 iv y aunque la distorsión es mejor, el limpio deja mucho que desear. Este en cambio lo tiene todo. Tiene una buena distorsión y un canal limpio insuperable. Aunque sea pequeño y aparente que no tiene potencia suficiente lo cierto es que da de sobra para un piso normal. Yo nunca he puesto el volumen a más de la mitad y se oye muchísimo. Relación calidad precio muy buena

Se non si cerca particolare potenza ma si predilige la portabilità e la facilità d’uso non credo ci sia nulla di meglio di questo; effetti perfetti per iniziare e avere tutto con un investimento tutto sommato contenuto. Noto purtroppo dopo un anno che la qualità a volume alto è calata, tuttavia sono ben consapevole di averlo usato “esagerando” un tantino. Le batterie durano un sacco di tempo, con un uso di qualche volta a settimana possono durare anche 3/4 mesi. Consigliatissimo, Roland non si smentisce!

Dispongo de varios amplificadores de valvulas y solid sate, ademas varios pedales y cajas multi efectos. señalo esto para que mi review sea mas objetivo.
me he quedado impresionado que algo tam pequeño suene tan grande. ideal para tocar en casa. le he conectado a una strat y una les paul utilizando un dispositivo bluetooth. estoy muy satisfecho de la compra y el resultado de la misma.

El producto está orientado, definitivamente, al estudiante o músico ocasional.
El sonido sería correcto si tuviera, como mínimo, un altavoz de 8". Se queda bastante corto en cuerpo, tiene un sonido extremadamente chillón. Seguramente con un altavoz más grande sonaría increíble. Lástima.
Sólo lo recomiendo para principiantes y ocasionales.

un mini amplificatore ottimo, gli effetti sono facilmente gestibili, ottimo sia sul pulito che sul distorto. la potenza è notevole considerato l'ingombro, l'alimentazione a pile AA è praticissima. Peccato non ci sia la funzione di ricarica batterie quando lavora in rete. È un gadget utilissimo in mille occasioni che NON può mancare nel l'equipaggiamento.

Ideal für Gitaristen und die die es werden wollen.
Ein sehr anspruchvoller Übungsverstärker, der ohne großen Aufwand überall dabei ist mit erstaunlich guten Sound und tollen Effekten die sehr fein abgestimmt werden können.
Auch gut für kleine Gigs. Je öfter man spielt und je länger man ihn hat, umso intersanter wird er.
Bei mir steht er mittlerweile untern Wohnzimmertisch weil ich zwischendurch, mehrmals täglich, eine meiner Gitarren ansteck und spiele.
Er macht richtig Spaß ! Ich bin begeistert und kann ihn guten gewissens weiter empfehlen.

De petite taille et très léger, il se révèle très pratique parce que très facile à déplacer et à transporter.
Les différents effets (vibrato, flanger, chorus, reverbe, entre autres) sont très réussis, et n'ont rien à envier aux amplis de plus grande taille. Il y a aussi un canal de distorsion et des simulations d'ampli, afin de pourvoir interpréter différents styles musicaux, de la variété au metal, en passant par le rock british ou le jazz.
Malgré un haut-parleur de très petite taille (3 pouces), il est malgré tout puissant, prévu pour jouer dans des pièces d'une vingtaine de mètres carrés. Cependant, cela reste un ampli pour répéter seul ou avec quelques musiciens, ou même encore sur un morceau enregistré. Il n'est pas prévu pour jouer dans de grandes salles, ou avec un batteur.
Le son est propre : pas de grésillement ni de saturation, même s'il n'est pas conseillé de le pousser à fond, car le son se fait alors moins clair.

Acquis pour bosser tous les soirs sans avoir à allumer tout l'attirail.
Un collègue l'avait apporté au travail et j'avais été très surpris par la qualité du son, d'autant plus dans un open space !!
Les sons clairs sont claquants, les crunch précis, la reverb est naturelle et le delay ne bave pas, cet ampli est un modèle de qualité !
Evidemment c'est un ampli de travail, ne lui demandez pas d'amplifier Bercy pour des reprises de Pantera...
Mon ampli à lampes est rangé, je le branche sur ma Luke 3 et ma Suhr Pro Classic et c'est un vrai plaisir de pouvoir jouer sans une usine qui souffle derrière...

Piccolo, compatto, versatile e divertente!!!!
Per le sue dimensioni (molto contenute) suona molto bene!!!
È comodo da trasportare, leggero ed in più funziona anche con 6 pile "AA".
Riproduce 6 tipologie di amplificatori :dal suono acustico, fino all' heavy metal, con possibilità di aggiungere qualche effetto (chorus, flanger, echo, reverber, phaser, tremolo....), un bel giocattolo. Ha anche una presa per collegarci una fonte sonora esterna.
Unico difettuccio l'ho trovato nel potenziometro del volume: poco preciso. (Solo per questo do 4 stelle)

Per quanto è piccolo ... un grande attrezzo!
Amplficazione sufficiente per le mie esigenze (in cuffia) ma anche per suonare con la mia Gibson Les Paul in full AMP.
Tante possibilità di amplificazione e di effetti.
Molto utile poter usare questo amplificatore a batteria, in libertà.

I bought this as my other battery amp (a Vox Mini5) was on the blink and I didn't want to buy the same amp again because it's very likely I will eventually get around to fixing the Vox so I bought this to replace it and for the novelty of having something new. I'd owned the previous generation of Micro Cube years ago and remembered it being quite a punchy little amp so I figured I'd listen to the reviews and give this a go and, honestly, I wish I'd just bought another Vox.
Now, for what it is, it has an alright sound and it functions well as a battery powered amp but frankly after years of playing the Vox Mini5 the tone of the Micro Cube sounds horrible to me. It looks and feels like a toy and does not sound like a legit amp. I understand there's an argument that any amp this small won't sound like a legit amp but play the Vox and play this and you'll know what I mean. The Vox has tone and depth that's impressive for its size to the point that nine times out of ten when I want to plug in I'd plug in to the Vox rather than my Peavey Bandit 65 or my Laney VC30 212 and I wouldn't feel I was missing out on much for it. The Vox is small but packs a SERIOUS punch and actually sounds like the instrument's true tone is coming out of the amp - and a much larger amp at that. The Micro Cube felt cheap out of the box and sounded, honestly, pretty terrible. It's hard to put into words how disappointed I was but seriously, actually go to a music shop and play this toy and then play the Vox Mini5 and you'll know exactly what I mean; or just take the chance on the Vox and be glad you did (which you will). I'm aware that I'm typing as though Vox are paying me by the word but it is only because I was so impressed by the Vox - and I've been played through more amps than I could mention over my twenty years of playing guitar, for whatever that's worth - and so thoroughly disappointed by the Roland. Plugging into the Micro Cube Gx for the first time and hearing what came out of it I was actually physically angry. Angry with Roland for putting their name on it; angry at the -at this point quite obviously paid- reviewers who praised it above all other battery powered amps; angry with myself, for making the mistake of buying any amp based on ratings without having played it first. Any amp that can make a thirty year old American Standard Telecaster on the neck pickup sound thin is doing something severely wrong.
Don't do it. For a mere twenty or thirty quid more fork out for the Vox and have a legitimately decent amp.

Bought for a small practice anp around the home.
Seems well built and sturdy.
Overall the sound quality was lacking. The higher gain models in particular are very fizzy. There is limited scope for tonal adjustment. Some of the FX are either on or off with again limited adjustment.
The clean sounds are pretty decent and the unit can throw out some decent volume.
It sounds dire through headphones, tinny, thin and very fatiguing on the ears.
On the whole I was quite disappointed, I had read the reviews saying it was a decent little amp, but for me it was lacking in tonal quality and versatility.
Sold it on for less than half price.
If you are interested in one I would buy a used one just in case you dont like it, and someone else has taken the initial depreciation hit.
I went for a Yamaha THR10 instead and this is much better, albeit at a higher price, you get what you pay for.

Its a very nice sounding amp for the size, a little bit muddy if you want to play anything on a 7 string which im putting down to the speaker size, unfortunately when i tried to use the amp on batteries it was intermittently cutting out, this was a surprise as the amp itself was very nice and its not something that would be an issue 95% of the time but made me doubt the electronics enough to return the amp and order a fender mustang instead, if portability is important to you this amp is excellent and for the price the sound is great but if you just want a simple bedroom practice amp i would recommend the fender mustang 1 instead

Great sound and well made. Has a nice solid feel to it, looks nice and a really good range of amps. The effects are Ok but not what I would have chosen, although the gain and volume work really well together giving a very progressive feel, not just on/off.Came with a 12 volt power supply which was a bonus cos I hadn't expected it. Also sounds great when playing my phone or radio through the 2nd input. I tried the blackstar fly 3 before settling on this and there really is no comparison. Price wise I guess you get what you pay for, although it isn't actually that much more expensive when you take into account the power supply.

Ich habe damals - vor über dreißig Jahren - mit einem 12V-fähigen Mini-Brüllwürfel im Kofferrraum meines Stinkers ("Autos") gesessen und mir den Frust vom Hals gespielt. Keine Sorge - weit draußen. Damals war noch nicht jeder Autobahnparkplatz restlos überlaufen. Da konnte man noch ...
Aber: Das Ding damals klang ziemlich genauso wie mein Gitarrespiel - zum Davonfahren. Sehr weit. Sehr schnell. Und idealerweise in einem Stinker mit kaputtem Auspuff, um den LÄRM zu übertönen.
Der Micro-Cube ist wirklich klein, handlich, leicht (wahrscheinlich Geschmackssache, ich habe Hunde ... zwei Getränkekisten zu heben finde ich auch leicht :D ) und hat entsprechend keine hochtrabenden Erwartungen geweckt. Angeschaltet - kaum Rauschen, kaum Brummen (wirklich nur minimal!). Gitarre angestöpselt (Yamaha Silent - betreibe ich sonst nur mit Ohrstöpseln, um weniger Menschen zu stören als damals) und ...

Es ist LAUT (für Wohnzimmerverhältnisse - bitte keine Stage-Performance erwarten!), es hat ein paar lustige Effekteinstellungen, es bringt ausreichend viel "Bass"-ähnlichen Sound rüber (trotz der relativ kleinen Membran), dass ein E-Sound "voll" genug klingt und ein "clean sound" (die Silent hat zwei Abnehmer, einer davon simuliert akkustischen Mikrofon-Sound) ist erträglich (klingt natürlich nicht "akkustisch", aber klingt doch zumindest anders.
Der Cube ist, mit Batterien bestückt, transportabel - fürs Auto (heute natürlich kein Stinker mehr, der moderne Freak fährt elektrisch) kommt natürlich 'n Kabelstöpsel 'dran.

after a lot of research I bought this to use with my Hofner archtop at our worship group practices and smaller venues, in order to be able to compete with an electric piano! Also, having back problems, I needed something light. I have been amazed at the quality of the tone I can get, and the great variety of FX! Also the volume is unbelievable for its size (I can carry it in a shopping bag!) last practice we were told to turn it down a bit!

Brilliant little amp. I have played an electro acoustic guitar for a long time and I needed something new, well this certainly delivered. Using the amp simulators and effects will keep me going for ages. You want hard rock from a acoustic, here it is. The Jazz cube and chorus settings are pure magic. Also my new classical guitar with built in piezo sounds marvellous. How come it took me so long to find out?

Excellent! Sits by the side of my chair, out of the way. The Shadows never sounded so good! (Well, they did... I'm a crap guitarist!) The different modes allow for a large number of styles and, with the headphone socket, nobody complains (or knows that I am a crap guitarist).

So easy to use just plug guitar in and you get a good choice of what type of sound you are after. I like it on extreme. Maybes a little expensive but worth it for the convenience of not bringing a huge amplifier with you.
