I have tried several microphones over the past 12 months and this one has done the best job. All of my YT viewers have commented on how clear the sound now is since using this device.

All I can say is, rated on value for money and quality, this microphone is superb. Well built and easy to use, the quality of the audio it captures is stunning. In addition, the Audio Interface is easy to use and precise.

I bought the product and I can say full hand it is fantastic. For the first few months it was all I could ever ask for but just recently it has stopped working and I have no idea why. No damage has been caused to it and I havnt physically touched it in a long time

The interface didn’t work and I have had nothing but trouble I had to send it back to Rode at my own cost and still haven’t heard anything from the very disappointed with terrible customer service.

I have some practice with voice work, but this is my first XLR mic. I am upgrading from a Blue Yeti Nano. The difference is astonishing. I was going to get separate parts, but I'm glad I got this kit with everything matching both in appearance and manufacturer-approved compatibility / quality.

This kit was over $500 CAD, but the mount is expensive alone and the interface is expensive alone. This make this microphone less painful to buy.

The pros:

- Australian. Guys, just put your flag on a preview image; this is a BIG selling point.
- 10 year warranty on the Mic/shock mount/pop filter. I didn't know this when buying it. This is amazing.
- Responsive, helpful, support. Good ticketing system that lets me switch to using email.
- Beautiful; one consistent matte black that looks great on camera. This thing is going to get complements and raise questions.
- The pop filter is custom fit; no octopus arm and no big circle. You can turn the mic slightly and barely see it on camera.
- Zero noise floor; seriously. My noise removal and gating macro is going be interesting to tweak.
- Amazing rear rejection.
- I literally cannot plosive through the pop screen no matter how hard I try. If I hold my hand behind it I can't even feel my breath when I blow into it. What magic is this?!
- The shock mount is a crazy high quality and expensive lyre style. Go look up the price for a universal one. My previous shock mount was a joke in comparison.
- Has an adapter in the mount so you can still use an even larger thread. Has a brass adapter already inset/installed which can be removed with a flathead screwdriver (or screwing and backing-out a mount like I did by accident)
- The interface is a metal box. I saw a teardown, and the bottom has an additional plastic facade over the bottom of the box (which is metal).
- Optional phantom power
- The box delivers enough power and gain that I can turn it up past 3/4 and then I start to clip when loud. This means I can bring the gain down and get a smooth zero-noise experience for my regular (even moderately-loud) voice.
- Very quiet microphone-handling sound.
- I'm not familiar with these cables, but this XLR cable seems high quality to me. It has a very nice rubber feel to it and doesn't tangle. It's heavy, but not too heavy that it's dragging my desk clamp down or anything.

Notes:

- Even though I felt I was risking quality by buying an interface in the kit from the manufacturer, I was not let down; it is really wonderful and all works well together.
- The mount is entirely plastic (quality, and lightweight though)
- I needed the little blue circle that came with mine. It's a jagged loop which fits into the microphone so the cable is perfectly snug. If you have popping problems when you bump the cable, then use yours. If you didn't get one, contact the manufacturer and pay for one; it's worth it.
- Works with a medium-quality desk-clamped arm; it's not too heavy.
- You can just barely see the gold of the equipment inside the mesh; it has no integrated foam like other mics do. If used in windy conditions (why?) then you'd probably need a clown-nose.
- Fine functionality for an interface. I had to exit applications to make sure they understood this new audio device. If you have trouble getting things to see it, then restart the application.
- Does not come with an adapter to fit small-jack headphones into it. If you have decent headphones, then they should have come with an adapter; go check its box.
- I don't know if this requires USB 3.x but I gave it that in case it needs the power.
- It was a minor nightmare figuring out how to get desktop audio and monitoring working simultaneously. It turned out I just had to restart my applications. Sigh. If you get YouTube video errors with Chrome and it's audio refuses to play while you record, or your recording refuses to "go" while you're playing desktop audio, then restart your applications (or your entire computer).
- Very low noise monitoring. High headphone volume is possible.
- I did not test the audio output, just headphones.

Cons:

- The interface only has a 2-year warranty. I feel a bit sad about this. 3 would have been fine, and 5 would have been impressive to me. I'm not too sad, because the interface is one of the first things I'd improve upon.
- A different RODE kit has a better-articulated metal mount.
- The end of the XLR cable is silver, so it's inconsistent with the appearance of the rest of the cable. This isn't a problem for me because I don't show the entirety of the kit on camera. Buying a replacement cable just for this appearance would cost quite a lot.
- The XLR cable is long! :D But seriously, I had to loop it and put it under my desk, hanging off of the desk clamp of a monitor arm.
- The USB cable is of average length. It's not short, but if you want your computer on one side and your interface on the other side of your desk then you'll need an extension cable or a longer cable (with one USB-C end).
- The XLR and USB cables plug into opposite sides of the interface.
- The interface only has one port. I would have paid more for a kit with a two-port interface so I have room to grow in the future.
- Kinda bad cloth cover. It's wrinkled, simple, and not quite long enough to bag it entirely. It does fit overtop of it if you want to give it dust protection while it's mounted. Remember to take it off though; I caught myself trying to use it muffled. :)
- It's intimidating to have this close to my face.
- Big fat RODE on the face of the shock mount, pointed at me; I don't need to be advertised-to with what I already bought and I may end up putting a piece of tape over that.

Für dieses komplette Set kann ich nur eine positive Bewertung abgeben und es nur empfehlen, denn es verspricht nicht nur eine komplett Lösung, diese ist auch tatsächlich gegeben und die Tonqualität des Mikrofones ist kaum zu überbieten.

Es gibt sicherlich günstigere Modelle anderer Hersteller, da ich bis lang immer nur positive Erfahrungen mit Rode Mics hatte, bleibe ich bei dieser Marke.

Einziger Wehrmutstropfen in meinem Fall, ich musste mich leider nach einmaligem testen dazu entschließen, das Bundle wieder zurück zu geben, da es mir schlichtweg für meinen Gebrauch zuviel der Hintergrundgeräusche (bei offenem Fenster und einer Kita in der Nachbarschaft) mit aufnahm, für ein Großmembran Mikrofon durchaus normal, doch es störte leider zu stark während des Roleplays.

bei dieser Gelegenheit möchte ich auch mal ein Dank an Amazon aussprechen, Versand, Verpackung, angegebene Lieferzeit, klappte wie gewohnt einwandfrei, und auch die Rücksendung wurde schnell abgewickelt.

Habe mir dieses Mikrofon gekauft für
Livestreaming Youtube und Musik.
Dieses Mic ist einfach für alles Perfekt,
Klarer und Sauberer Klang kein Summen wenn Ich mal nichts sage und das Grundrauschen ist so niedrig das es eig keine Nachbearbeitung braucht.

Mirror Funktion also "Echtzeit Stimmen Wiedergabe" sowie ein sehr Hochwertiger Popschutz aus Aluminium und ein Schockmount. Der Gesamt werd für alle Teile liegt bei Knapp 410€ somit kann man sehr Gut Sparen.

Klare Kaufempfehlung lieber einmal richtig geld aus Geben als 2 mal für irgendwelchen billig kram.

Dazu ist es einfach "Plug and Go" also Anstöpseln und Loslegen.

I use this mic for mostly gaming online.
This is 100% overkill for gaming, it's like buying a GTR and driving only 50 km/h.
But I bought it just in case I need to do voice overs and when I tested it out, it sounds like HEAVEN!
When used to it's full potential, it will blow you away from the value and cost.
You will basically be a mini-studio.

Das Mic ist OK für Sprachaufnahmen, aber für Gesang ist es nicht die erste Wahl. Die Tiefen und die Mitten werden zu stark betont. Mann braucht dann unbedingt Nachbearbeitung mit EQ. Deswegen ist der 1 Stern Abzug. Ein halber Stern Abzug ist wegen der Verarbeitung des Popschutzes. Hochwertig sieht anders aus.
Das Audiointerface ist nicht besonders gut und beeinflußt die Aufnahme weiter. Ich habe das Micro mit einem Steinberg Interface ausprobiert und da waren die Tiefen und die Mitten nicht mehr so extrem präsent. Das heisst das wenn ich einnen vernünftigen Klangergebniss möchte, noch 300 Euro für ein richtiges Interface ausgeben muss.
Dieser da ist absolut nicht zu empfehlen.
Die Software von Ableton ist so abgespeckt, das es nutzlos ist.

Es un kit muy bueno para tener un equipo de grabación muy bueno a un precio bastante ajustado. Todos los materiales son de gran calidad, robustos y de durabilidad garantizada (el fabricante ofrece 10 años de garantía en el micrófono).
No tengo la menor duda de que la interfaz de audio funciona correctamente, solo que en mi equipo no tiene buen "acople". No puedo usarlo para grabación con el micrófono, pues aunque constato señal de entrada (el micro funciona, y me oigo perfectamente en la monitorización), no llega ninguna señal al equipo. Probando con otra interfaz, esto no ocurre. Y también me aparecen de vez en cuando unos desajustes en la señal de audio que provocan sonidos metálicos momentáneos pero reiterados. Seguramente es un mal entendimiento con mi placa base, pero el hecho cierto es que no está optimizado para funcionar al 100%, al menos en mi equipo de escritorio. Probado en otro ordenador, el funcionamiento es el esperado.

La sensazione di qualità che percepisco da questo kit mi soddisfa pienamente. La centralina con alimentazione +48v permette di usare anche altri microfoni a condensatore, la possibiltà di usare una cuffia e la caratteristica di farti ascoltare direttamente quello che stai registrando in tempo reale è molto comoda. Che dire? Non sono certo io a scoprire un marchio così famoso. Se state leggendo queste poche righe ed avete bisogno di un microfono da studio che non vi deluderà con una spesa relativamente bassa, procedete tranquillamente all'acquisto. Non ne rimarrete delusi e mi ringrazierete.

Ich habe das Mikro gekauft da ich schon länger streame und mir von den einnahmen ein neues Mikro holen wollte. Nach langem suchen bin ich auf das Rode-nt1a gestoßen. Es erfüllt seinen zweck aber nicht perfekt. Es fühlt sich echt hochwertig verarbeitet an, aber der popschutz ist wackelig und aus echt billigem Plastik Produziert. Der klang ist zwar echt gut aber nicht wirklich so wie es in allen Reviews vorgestellt wurde. Dort klang es immer ein wenig besser als bei mir. Trotzdem erfüllt es seinen zweck und das nicht schlecht.

Product is good but the guys delivering it are awful , I received missing products AI AND CABLE was not there , it was a waste of a time , if you want to buy this product go offline you might also get discount I got it for 28000 with all the warranty card and equipment which was missing in my order from Amazon.

Amazing microphone. Clear sound, flat frequency response if not a littler thicker in the low-end which I like. I bought the AI-1 NT1 combo when it was on sale for $399 CAD which was a steal IMO. If you're thinking of purchasing this microphone and you have the budget for it, just do it. Trust me, you will not regret it. at full price, you won't find anything like it. Good for amateurs or professionals alike. 10/10. I might end up upgrading the AI-1 a little more down the line when I get the chance but for now, it gets the job done. Wonderful product, Røde.

Amazing audio setup! My background is in video, but I need to do voice-overs and dubbing, and this interface works perfectly for those uses. For the microphone, keep in mind that it is very sensitive. It will pick up on the slightest background noises, so room treatment is a must!

Microfono eccezionale! Adatto per home recording, fruscìo di fondo impercettibile nonostante durante la registrazione ci siano dei rumori non indifferenti. Sono passato dal BEHRINGER c1 a questo.. e lo rifarei 100 volte! Interfaccia audio molto compatta e davvero funzionale. Filtra egregiamente tutti i rumori di fondo ed uscendo in USB C garantisce la massima resa. 0 delay nel live e durante la rec in cuffia. Consigliatissimo!

Después de comprarlo, solo puedo decir que es excelente. La calidad de audio es sensacional, la calidad de construcción es buena (aunque la montura es plástico) y tiene un aspecto muy bonito con su interfaz XLR-USB a juego.

Respecto al sonido, es un sonido muy neutro sin ese brillo tan pronunciado que tiene la versión NT1-A. Al ser un micrófono de condensador, coge mucho ruido ambiental, aunque el suelo de ruido propio es básicamente nulo. Aún así, con bajar la sensibilidad y poner algunos filtros en OBS, se puede grabar sin ningún tipo de molestia.

Inicialmente iba a comprar otra interfaz (Focusrite Scarlett solo, junto con este micrófono de forma independiente), pero la AI-1 cumple perfectamente, va a juego con el micro y ofrece básicamente las mismas características por un precio menor (en este bundle).

Cómo nota aparte, he de decir que la salida de auriculares es también buena y puede sustituir a la salida de 3.5 de la placa base con un sonido más limpio y potente (en mi caso tengo unos Seinheisser HD 58x y una placa con un buen sonido, pero ni punto de comparación).

The first time using it the mic just broke.. I looked online and the same thing happened to so many people. I didnt drop it, spill anything on it.. NOTHING. It simple stopped working the first time I set it up. This is the most disappointing buys of my life... I'm on the phone atm with amazon trying to get this resolved. Horrible purchase. Beware.

Mir war das Ganze V I E L zu groß und zu klobig. Die Spinne und der Popschutz sind echt riesig. Zum Eindruck-Schinden gut geeignet. Deshalb wieder retour. Über die Ton-Qualität kann ich nichts sagen. Die Teile selbst machten einen wertigen Eindruck.

Enjoy the upgrade in audio quality and what not. It is a little bit more of a commitment because now I have to get appropriate connections for my speakers as well to hook up to the mixer rather than directly from the computer.

Other than that, I'm really happy with the quality.

После АТ2020, Шумов, практически нет)) Меньше грязи и посторонних звуков. Чувствительность выше. Надо убавить уровень звука. . По тембру, я не скажу, что он лучше звучит, чем АТ2020. У каждого свой неповторимый окрас.
Голос звучит приятно. доволен на все сто)) АТ2020 продавать не буду. Оставлю для беков))

Микрофон высшего уровня для самых крутых и заряженных ребят, если вы новичок лучше сразу не покупать такой дорогой микрофон, а начать с более бюджетных вариантов
