The sound from this microphone is exceptional. I only have only used it on vocals so not sure how it would work for other applications. The accessories that come with it are of the highest quality. I know others who use this microphone for vocals and I have listen to their recordings. They sound like they used a much more expensive microphone. For the price, you can't find anything better.

This microphone is exactly what I was looking for. The sound quality is excellent; it's warm and clear, and it captures both the high and low ends of my voice, perfectly. I love how much detail went into the microphone, the components - and even the packaging! Very well designed. I couldn't be happier with this microphone. Thank you, RØDE!

i bought this RODE NT1A day before yesterday and its not working. it is not sending signals to my audio-interface which has a phantom power (focusrite scarlet solo)

One of XLR connectors was shorter than the other two -and therefore made the entire device inoperable. Otherwise, maybe it would have been a superb condenser microphone. I may try ordering another, to see how good it is when working properly. I'm not sure if it is a random one in a million factory defect, or a previously returned mic that somebody else damaged, or a shady distributor selling defective "fell off the truck" devices.

Awesome microphone! I would have given 5 stars but I didn't get to use it to it's full potential. In a treated room, the voice is clear and engaging. Whether you're doing podcasts or spittin' on the track I think this mic is awesome for the price.

I make ASMR videos and this microphone does my ASMR justice. I have to order a preamp in order to connect it to my phone but it was worth it. Amazing microphone, I definitely recommend.

The XLR cord did not work, so I needed to buy another . Emailed the seller, and no resolution.

All you need is a audio interface with 48v phatnom power supply to sound as your favourite artists.
Pop filter is really cool and it's so much effective and the shock mount is of highest quality.

Il microfono è molto valido,però è sensibilissimo a tutti i rumori presenti nella stanza. Va montato su un buon supporto e soprattutto necessiterebbe di una apposita stanza insonorizzata.

The XLR cable that came in the package came damaged, with a cut that makes it useless. It looks like the cut is intentional, very fine with a sharp object ... I am extremely disappointed

This is an awesome middle of the road microphone.
You get what you pay for, though. Frequency response isn't particularly flat and there aren't any bells and whistles.
The pop filter is nearly useless but the shock mount is great.

the body of the mic has a small and light scratch. the dust cover looks dirty and the box of the shock mount has been broken with a hole. I guess it is a returned one.

Everything you need in one package. The sound is neutral, no coloration - just the way it should. Microphone is also amazingly quiet. You can boost the highs +10 db and there is still no hiss.
