Needed a new shaver so looked for one that was comparable to my current Remington. Found this great deal and when it arrived was quite thrown off by everything from the packaging to the performance level. First, and nowhere was it stated on the item description, it is a refurbished shaver. It came in a single small box with the contents loose. It was missing the stubble attachment also which is specific to this model. Upon opening the shaver from its plastic I can tell it’s been slightly used by the scuffs on the body and the slightly rubbed off lettering on the back. The shaving head was brand new though. The user manual was not the usual well printed one, but instead was what looked like a poorly printed or photocopied version. Upon looking at the manual I also discovered this shaver is bottom of the line. 40 minute shaving time isn’t too bad, but 16 hours to fully charge it with no quick charge capability is horrible especially for a travel shaver. Within 24 hours of receiving it I submitted for a refund and will return it.

(9-5-19) I ordered this on 9-6-19 and paid for 3 day shipping, got it the next day!! Thanks Amazon. Clearly I did not get the same old shaver. I can see that just by looking. Thought I was getting. I'm sure Amazon did not sent me the old model. This new one is a much better design, looks better and it even looks much stronger. I don't know what model this is. It says it is. Clearly I did not get the same old model. I used my old one so much the model number worn off. Very hard to see. The old shaver in red & black, new shaver in blue & black. I'm keeping this new one for sure. I gotta shave like 1-2 a day.UPDATE9-9-19 I look both shavers online. It looks like Amazon give me "REMINGTON PR1335 Power series flex plus" now I had "Remington PR1335 R3000 Series Men's Electric Razor" both with same model number........ (The old shaver in red & black, new shaver in blue & black. ) Not that I'm complaining, I really like Power series flex plus one a lot better then the other one with the same model I say again. I wanted to make my point was clear. I PAID FOR 3 DAY SHIPPING, GOT IT THE NEXT DAY!!!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH AMAZON!!!! KEWL BEANS!!!!
UPDATE 7-4-20 My shaver the old one in red & black doesn't hold a charge anymore. I let it charge for more than 30 hours, will not last long much more than one good shave now. When I got it the instructions said charge for 16. (blue & black one) That's a joke now....... Not even 24 hours now. Time for a new one I guess, again.UPDATE12-15-20 Still have my blue & black one. Works great still. I have to shave everyday, so I put in on the charger when I'm done no matter what.

Although a good price, I bought this produce July 2016 and I was going to use last night (3/4/2017) as I have used many time since purchase and found it completely dead so I plugged it in, tried it again this morning and still dead. Charging lite indicated it was charging but it was deader then a door nail. Replacement window has expired. So come on Amazon I get offers all the time and comments like I am a valued customer.

If you enjoy a spotty shave that pulls roughly a 3rd of your hair out instead of cutting it off cleanly, this is the razor for you!
The best part of this razor is that it is priced very cheaply. It was one of the lowest priced electric razors on Amazon when I purchased it.
The worst part is that it feels like the cheapest razor on Amazon, and cuts like blind man running with scissors towards your face. I have bought cheap razors before and generally use them until the blades are stupid dull and just get a new razor instead of dealing with getting new blades, but this razor has changed my life. I will now be looking for new blades for my last razor and bringing it back from the dead. This razor I will put into my guest bathroom to prank the people who come and stay with me and forget to bring their own razors. It'll be hilarious.

I usually love Remington rotary shavers however this model has a different screen pattern that includes holes instead of slots so it takes a lot longer to shave. As a 30 year user of this style shaver I will say the slots that lift and cut are the only thing anyone should look for when shopping this style shaver. Stay away from the gimmicks that include holes and different screen patterns, simple slots are best.

I own a pretty new Remington foil electric razor which is very well built and shaves closer than comparable products from Braun and Norelco. This rotary Remington feels so cheap in comparison that it seems like it's not even a real product of theirs. I compared it head to head vs a few other new triple rotary shavers and it was easily the worst one. All except the Remington had heads that could be depressed in all directions inside their housings. The housings could still move but getting the heads to actually make full contact with my skin was far more difficult. The inside blade track on the heads is half hidden by tiny holes and this makes it nearly pointless in practice. Shaving with the Remington rotary was both the most difficult, uncomfortable, slowest and least close. Don't be loyal to brands kids.

I like that this razor is easy to hold on to, easy to clean, and easy to shave with. I've had it 3 months and the cutters are dull. I guess I expect them to last more than 3 months. I usually charge this about twice a week. It gets noticeably slower on the 3rd useage. My net step is to go back to razors. The cutting life of these doesn't justify the price I paid.

Item has worked fine on my lower arms and stomach. But on my upper arms and chest the razor cut into my skin. This is one of the worst razors I've ever owned. It fails to cut every hair even after several passes. It cuts the skin which causes pain and bleeding. Litterlery the only reason for 2 stars is because it does cut hair just as good a normal manual razor. Just not all the time.

This is a good razor. For the price I don't think it can be beat. Have only used a few days, but it cuts well, the trimmer is good. It doesn't seem to miss any hair like some of the other cheap shavers I've had.

Update: after one year of use, the batteries are working but weak. I'm sure they won't last much longer. And that is the problem with all of these darn battery powered ones. You wind up throwing out an otherwise perfectly good razor because the batteries are crap, even though the razor itself is fine. What a waste. I won't buy anymore battery powered razors no matter the cost. Get a corded one and it will last forever. My corded one has and is running after 25 years of use and still works good (with blade changes of course). I'd have gone through 15 of these in that time.

I got this as an all-over shaver, thinking maybe I could stop my monthly razor subscription and end the war against razor burn at the same time.
NOPE.
It only works on my legs - barely - and anywhere else (armpits, etc), I end up with cuts. Shaving my legs with it takes f o r e v e r because I have to go over the same area repeatedly before it gets all the hair. The trimmer is a menace all on its own, don’t even get me started. This is garbage. I give up.

This is my second Remington PR1235 R3 shaver. I was so pleased with the first one I did not hesitate to purchase this one. Just keep in mind it is not the top of the line and thus it does not cost as much as many other shavers. I do not have a heavy beard, so this shaver works fine for me.

I've had these before and they were ok but this last one that I returned really messed up my face, it left my face irritated and red unlike the previous Remington shavers I had of the same type, I'm very dissapointed and dissatisfied with this shaver.

I won't give something five stars unless it's outstanding. That said this clearly warrants 4 1/2 stars as it is completely functional, reliable and very inexpensive. At this time I don't see any downside to this product other than its potential lifespan which I won't know for several months

Man, sometimes I'll take a chance on the best priced product in a category, especially if the brand is well known, but in this case, I would not give you a dime for this shaver. The razor burn from this brand new shaver is something like I have never experienced before, and I am not a spring chicken lol. Get the other brand and pay $10 more, it is like night and day better. They should really take this off the market, it is really that bad.

Hurts to use dry or wet. It’s pulls at the hair especially under the nose. Threw it away. Stick to a razor Originally bought cos my girlfriends love stubble and that rugged manly look, but this things sucks so bad I went back to the razor for a clean shave. And my many girlfriends still always come back for more.... What can I say, women love William Wallace...

My husband has owned several Remington shaver and had excellent results with them. Bought this one thinking it was a good one. Could not even tell he had shaved when he used this one. May try another brand.

The shave is clean and easy. It seems it's better to slide lightly rather than press down as I had to do. The charger green light doesn't go off when the recharge is complete but it does shine yellow when it needs recharge. Razor is slightly lighter than my previous model and surprisingly the Amazon price is less than the razor I purchased 5 years ago. I don't like the stubble appearance but for others who do will find the free stubble attachment to work like a charm. You can't go wrong with the R3000 Razor
