Erfüllt meine Erwartungen
Ich habe diesen Haarglätter im Oktober 2016 gekauft, habe ihn also schon ein Weile und nutze ihn fast jeden Tag. Es wurde bemängelt, dass er nicht in der angegebenen Zeit einsatzbereit wird (20 sec?). Das stimmt, er ist aber dennoch recht schnell, unter einer Minute. Die Zeit reicht, um noch etwas Hitzeschutz aufzutragen und sich die Hände zu waschen. M. E. also eine Frage der Organisation und keinen Punktabzug wert.
Ich habe dieses Gerät gewählt, weil es u. a. sich automatisch abschaltet. Das war mir wichtig, weil ich das manchmal vergesse. Es piept, wenn es einsatzbereit ist, man kannn also das Bad verlassen und etwas erledigen, nachdem man es eingeschaltet hat. Es erzeugt ein schönes Glätteergebnis und macht auch schöne Locken.
Das Einzige, das ich bemängeln muss, ist, dass die Tasten leider etwas ungünstig plaziert sind, so dass ich beim Benutzen immer mal versehentlich rankomme und die Grad-Zahl verstelle.
Ansonsten kann ich es empfehlen und würde es auch wieder kaufen.

These work great on my afro textured hair. I like the fact that the temperature can be adjusted. They came well packaged and in a timely fashion. The only problem was that the ceramic coating the plates can scratch off quite easily leaving the hot plate exposed. Overall, a good product.

Una gran decepción
Mi mujer, compró estas planchas porque anteriormente había tenido otras Remington que le habían ido muy bien y por los comentarios que había leído de la gente. Sinceramente, después de un par de usos, han sido una gran decepción y las vamos a devolver ya que no cumplen con las expectativas creadas por la descripción del artículo.
Uno de los motivos es que con sus planchas anteriores, en teoría de peor calidad, se alisaba el pelo a 190 grados y bastante rápido y con estas, tiene que subir la temperatura al máximo, 240 grados, para intentar conseguir un alisado más o menos decente. Además, tarda bastante más tiempo en alisarse el pelo sin conseguir grandes resultados. A este paso, en un mes tendrá el pelo totalmente quemado. Además, el pelo se le queda muy encrespado.
Es verdad que no están mal de precio pero, en nuestra opinión, no merecen la pena.

Great straighteners, heat up quite quickly, the quality feels professional, the display is of great help, the cord is thick and long and they come with a heat resistant pouch great for storing and traveling.
However, after a year and a half of use (only once every one or two weeks) these straighteners stopped working.
They are unable to maintain a temperature above 150C or to gain heat whatsoever.
Please beware that there are several other buyers who suffered from the same issue so, if buying this product, don't forget to register it with Remington so you can make use of the warranty which seems to be quite good (thing that I forgot to do).

Remington non delude mai !
La piastra in se sembra davvero ben costruita, dotata di materiali forti e resistenti agli urti. Nonostante questo la Remington ha voluto fornire al consumatore ben 5 anni di garanzia, questo ci fa pensare che sia abbastanza certa che il prodotto sia costruito nel migliore dei modi e che possa durare davvero a lungo. La piastra è inoltre dotata di una chiusura automatica.
La piastra è anche dotata di un comodo display che ne indica la temperatura, sul suo lato troviamo il tasto di accensione e il pulsanti + e – per regolare appunto la temperatura, che va da un minimo di 150°, adatta a capelli fragili e sottili, ad un massimo di 235°C, più adatta a capelli voluminosi e crespi. La Remington S9600 in conclusione è un prodotto davvero valido, dotata di tutte le caratteristiche migliori per una piastra per capelli professionale e un kit di accessori di prim’ordine

Poca rapidez y menos temperatura que las viejas
No se entiende, estas son las Remington S9600 y las viejas, las S9500.
Pues calientan menos, quiza sea ese el problema, la comparacion.
Ademas, segun mi mujer, tienes que darle 3 o 4 pasadas, cuando con las viejas una.
Solo se han usado una vez.
Se devuelven perfectamente embaladas en su caja, y en caja Amazon. Que que por cierto,
vinieron SIN envolver en el envio en caja Amazon y con la pegatina con datos personales pegada en la propia caja de Remington (tambien es la primera vez).
Pues calientan menos, quiza sea ese el problema, la comparacion.

This is the second S9600 Silk Straightener I bought. The first was directly from boots.
The first one worked well for months and then stopped reaching the temperature it was supposed to suddenly. This new one now shuts off as it starts to reach the set temperature and I have to keep turning it on several times just to get my hair done.
Both starting glitching at less than a year old!
It works well, but with all the malfuntions I would not buy this brand again.

Totalmente recomendable
Plancha de pelo muy fácil de manejar gracias al cable con giro de 360º y con bastante longitud.
Resultados perfectos tanto para alisar como para ondular el pelo. Deja el pelo muy suave y con movimiento.
Viene con un estuche muy práctico para transportarla.
Como ventaja, tiene un sistema que hace que se apague tras 60 minutos encendida, para aquellos a los que se olviden de apagarla.
A pasado casi un año desde que la tengo y no le encuentro ningún defecto. Plancha de pelo 100% recomendable, la volvería a comprar sin dudarlo.

Want to save money on ridiculously expensive hair straighteners??? Look no further, these are what you are looking for. A range of temperatures to suit your hair type. Mine is extremely curly and thick and I thought no other straightener would do the job for me but these are fantastic. A great product at an even better price.

I have been using Remington STraightner or last 9 years. They last very long. The Silk edition is really worth it. It looks sleek and elegant. The hair is very shiny just after one use. It offers 5 years of guarantee. It is really great value for money.

I have always purchased GHDs however these are even better. I have very curly and frizzy hair and was very unsure if these would control my hair but the definitely do. Very smooth and great to curl aswell.

Run smoothly through my hair, no snagging. Like that you can adjust temp easily and lock the temp so you don't accidentally change it as you straighten. Heat up quickly and they straighten my hair easily and quickly.
I think they're good value and I wouldn't fork out double for the higher end straighteners like GHD when these are so good.

Have thick hair and have always used GHDs but after 10 years mine have finally stopped working. Needed some new straighteners ASAP but was on a budget so bought these and they have not disappointed!

Leider ein Reinfall
Leider schlecht! Ich bin mehr als enttäuscht. Mein altes Eisen war wesentlich besser. Dieses ist ohne Ionen Technologie, Vermutlich liegt es daran das meine Haare zwar glatt werden, aber stumpf, glanzlos und kaputt aussehen. Das will wirklich niemand. Mir war gar nicht klar wie schlecht Eisen ohne Ionen Technologie sind. Frizz wird nicht vermieden, und ständig „fliegen die Haare“ - so aufgeladen habe ich meine Haare noch nie erlebt. Insgesamt werden die Haare schon glatt, auch recht schnell, sehen aber richtig schlecht und spröde aus. Fast schon leblos! Obwohl ich die hohen Temperaturen vermeide habe ich das Gefühl meine Haare werden geschädigt. Glätten ist zwar nie von Vorteil aber so haben sich meine Haare noch nie zuvor angefühlt. Ich fürchte ich habe dem Gerät eine Chance zu viel gegeben und werde jetzt erstmal ordentlich Länge einbüßen...
Zudem muss ich das Eisen nach jedem Glätten ausstecken, also komplett vom Strom nehmen. Nur ausschalten reicht nicht, das Display zeigt dann tatsächlich an dass das Eisen aus ist. Ein Schloss leuchtet auf, das Zeichen für die Verriegelung. Wie bescheuert ist das denn? Ich kann nur hoffen dass das nicht bei jedem so ist. Ansonsten frage ich mich schon warum das noch niemand bemängelt hat. Eine richtige Stromverschwendung!!!
Leider rausgeworfenes Geld. Ich würde abraten und mich bei Braun umsehen😉
