I had the Redmi 7 now for over a year, really good solid phone, does everything expensive phones do, for a friction of the price, finger recognition works well, although the sensor location like in most phones could be better, lately started occasionally booting by itself, once in a while, minimal inconvenience hence 4 rather than 5 stars,

For a bit of perspective, I bought this to replace an ageing Motorola G5 Plus
I've only had it 3 days, but my first impressions are that this is an impressively spec'd piece of kit for the money.
The screen is 6.5", not small but still slips into a back pocket no problem. It's bright and vibrant and when set to 120hz is looks amazing.
It's currently running Realme UI based on Android 10, which is clean, uncluttered and instinctive, a real doddle to use.
It only has one speaker(mono), but sound from it is perfectly fine, it has a headphone socket if you want to listen in stereo(and Bluetooth of course)
The Realme 7 5G comes with 128Gb storage built in and is expandable via the micro SD slot, I've popped another 128Gb in there.
My initial battery charge seemed to go down fairly quickly, but It was downloading huge amounts of backup data from the cloud and I had the screen on constantly. My second charge has only lost 25% in over 24 hours, this is with 120Hz switched on and the screen brightness up high, so looking good.
Charging the 5000mAh battery is incredibly fast using the supplied 30W Dart charger.
I did see a YouTube review that suggested the camera could have been better, however my limited testing of it has been entirely positive. The 48MP main camera setting captures huge amounts of detail, the portrait setting makes subjects pop and the night setting has just allowed me to take a brilliant picture of our Christmas tree.
It looks great, build quality feels good and it comes with a pre-applied screen protector and there's a clear rubberised case supplied in the box.
Hard to beat at the price, Real easy to recommend.

I have switched to this phone from a Samsung galaxy S20FE which is a nice phone but the battery life is terrible.
This phone and many like it have the best place for a fingerprint reader as part of the power switch the Samsung has a built in reader in the screen and cannot match this on the speed front. The screen is silky smooth thanks to the high refresh rate and the whole phone works at a very good rate with no stutters or lockups the camera is very good and has not failed to get me a nice picture so far the build quality it's really good and I am pleased to say it has a plastic back not a stupid glass one I try at all costs to avoid them I don't mind metal or ceramic or plastic but avoid the glass sandwich when ever I can the screen is good in bright sunlight and I can live with the sound from one speaker of you want to listen to your music on headphones get the Poweramp app from the play store and you can get a decent sound with some good wired earphones.
I got this with 25% off so for it is the bargain of the year.

Does everything I need has not let me down. Had Samsung in the past Huawei and this one took a day or 2 to get adjusted to but brilliant . Good price why pay £400 - £500+ for a phone when this does everything you need 🤷.

I am something of a techniphone and needed to replace my Sony Xperia. After much research and looking at customer reviews I settled on this phone. I have had it now a few weeks and overall I am pleased with it. Camera and photo are good. The charging is very quick which my last phone was not! One slight disappointment though, it is not suitable for wireless charging. My previous phone didn't either and unfortunately the phone charger socket became an issue as the internal fittings had obviously gone out of alignment, therefore I am wary of "plug in" charging. Therefore I am extremely careful putting in the connector so as not to bend connectors internally. That aside, the phone is easy to use, meets all my needs perfectly and hopefully will last me longer than my previous phone. Marks out of 10, 9 due to non wireless charging.

I bought this when it was on special offer for less than £170! A really nice phone to use. The screen is very responsive and scrolls smoothly without juddering or hesitation. Also it is very bright for an led screen and is easily readable in bright sunlight.
Both WiFi and Bluetooth work flawlessly.
Also I did a speed test running on 5G. Fabulously quick, 177 Mbps download and 28Mbps upload.
The camera has produced some good, clear, sharp pictures outside and very good inside too. See attached
At this price what's not to like?

Got this a couple of days ago and so far I love it. Finish looks good, screen looks great, everything works. Fingerprint unlock is instant, as is face unlock. Took me a while to get used to where everything is because it's a new OS, and for a while I was annoyed there was no widget to quickly turn hotspot on and off, but it's in the notification bar you swipe down from the top. There's a bunch of quick settings in there and you can move them around to put the ones you use most at the top. Setup had a feature that copied all my apps from my old Android phone so that made that task very easy. Desktop very customisable and you can easily change which apps and icons are where, including the main five that are at the bottom of the screen. Very fast charging and battery life seems to be very good. Excellent value for money. And after one day it upgraded to Android 11.

Was a great phone for 6 months but then the internals started playing up and my display started fading to black along with an intermittent static to the screen making it unresponsive and have a black screen.
Managed to factory reset it and contacted Amazon and they were amazing and sending me a new handset within 48 hours.
Will see how long the new one lasts...

Compared to other phones I've had this one is the easiest to operate I've ever come across. It is logical rather than fast & doesn't mind if you get mixed up with both set-up & download. It is not a name I was familiar with, but if you've the slightest doubt about your abilities, look it over before deciding which to buy. The low score in some places is not disapproval or fault, I merely haven't set recognition up yet, so me, not the phone guilty there.

Unbelievable value for money at 250 notes, it does all my broken OnePlus 5t did. Three only gripe I have is the damned default android keyboard with the space bar so close to the soft buttons at the bottom of screen. Literally several if not dozens of times a day I hit the home button whilst typing. Android keyboard needs a larger whitespace buffer between bottom row of keys and the soft buttons.
Screen is fantastic, brighter than my OnePlus and just as poppy in the colours, I cannot believe this is a 5g phone for less than half the cost of a OnePlus replacement.
May not have the kudos of the bigger names, but lose that badge snobbery and you will be pleasantly surprised for what you can get for such a small outlay.

Can not use both a second sim and have a memory card inserted at same time.
Screen contrast is not the best. Only 48 MP camera. Built in Speaker not very loud but overall a cheap decent functional phone

At first it seemed to work well. Now, roughly six months later, it keeps having issues. Finger and face recognition don't work consistently. The phone will ring when there is no call and no message alert and the only way to stop it is to turn the phone off completely and restart it. That issue now happens AT LEAST twice a week and online searches for fixes shows it is a common problem with no solution! SO it is not as I had hoped for, spending more would have been a better investment.

Second time bought this phone because I was so happy using it. The first one unfortunately broke when I accidentally dropped it, I ordered this phone again along with a screen protector (Amazon failed to safely deliver the screen protector but that's a separate issue).
The phone itself has a great battery life, good signal, internet is slightly faster than Realme 8 based on research, and I like the size of the phone and audio quality. Only thing I didn't like was the camera, it's a trade-off, a better quality camera would've drained the battery more so I'm not so fussed about this.

So I was after a phone to replace a HTC U11,my first choice was a Pixel 5G but after buying one I was really disappointed with the Google experience and returned it.
I had short listed a few 5G phones but did not want another disappointing experience,then I saw this Realme 7 5G.
Everything about this phone was what I was looking for,so i thought I would take a chance on it.
After over a week with it all I can do is highly recommend this phone,battery life is excellent it is so easy to navigate set up and use.Fantastic for watching prime YouTube or your favorites,speaker sound is very good and when bluetoothed to ear buds it performs superbly.
I cannot fault this phone,even the price of the phone is excellent (reduced by £40 at the moment) which is a bonus)

Battery life was the main reason to get this. One hour dart charge twice a week instead of on charge all night, every night. Good spec for performance - ROM, ram, refresh rate etc plus NFC, dual SIM etc make it a versatile phone for the price. Got this at £162 payable over 5 months so a no brainer. Had 2 software updates prompted since I got it so seems solid. You can pay more for the same with other brands but buying direct = no new contract so more flexible.

Amazing phone for those who are tired to carry their own power generator and bills around with them to my advice, I couldn't understand why they call mobile something that doesn't last two hours or that cannot be accountable for the use the owner does of it, I've ended my search with huawei handsets and wanted to try this one. THIS PHONE'S ARMED WITH GOOGLE SERVICES AND IS STILL ABLE TO GET YOU BACK HOME AFTER A DAY OF NORMAL USE WITH AMAZING COLORS AND RESOLUTIONS, CAMERA AND GPS. THE 5000 BATTERY LAST WAY LONGER THAN THE SAME ONE ON A MOTOROLA WITH THE DOUBLE OF THE USE. I'd buy again.

I'm very happy with this phone. Although I upgraded from an 7 year old Google phone so any new phone would have been an improvement. The performance is solid and I have had no problems of any sort. It is fast and the screen is clear. The fingerprint sensor is excellent. I'm happy with the main camera. I have had 2 Android security updates and expect an update to Android 11 soon. I'm using the bundled case which fits the phone perfectly, but the overall size is quite large 77.5mm wide, 165mm tall and 11.5mm thickness with an extra 0.7mm where the camera matrix sits.
Solid build quality, solid call quality, solid wi-fi and Bluetooth and super solid battery life (still 65% plus at the end of the day).
Hopefully it will last as long as my previous new phone.

I've been using the Realme 7 5g for almost three months now. I'm more than happy with my purchase as it really is a great phone with amazing battery life (up to 8 hr screen-on-time). The UI is very smooth, light and functional. The camera is not the best in the world and you might struggle a bit to see the screen on a very bright day which "luckily" we don't get often here in UK but is definitely more than enough for my needs. You will be more than happy with this phone with this price as you'll get a very smooth interaction experience along with an amazing battery life and fast charging.

GPU performs better than my Huawei P30 Pro, camera is average to be honest.

I had never heard of this company prior to looking on Amazon as I was looking for a 5G smartphone phone under £300.
I have had the phone few days and can honestly say I am extremely impressed with the amount of features you get for the very small price tag and the overall performance of the phone it's Very well designed, Easy to use ,Good screen size

I purchased this phone to replace my Google Pixel. I wanted a 5G phone without the high price of flagship phones. Turns out the phone is great! It is a lot bigger than the Pixel, which took a bit to get used to. The fingerprint scanner is embedded in the power button and is very quick to unlock the phone. The face unlock works very well also. And the best part is the 5G is super fast.

Very pleased lovely phone very fast easy to set up fantastic display. Cameras are brilliant. Fits well in hand not too big just right and I have smallish hands. Does everything I need it to and more.
Had it for a month now and am very pleased added 128 card so will never run out of space. Bluetooth headphones sound fantastic, screen is excellent been watching Sky Sports and its great never thought I would be watching football on a phone. Well worth the money.

Purchased as it was highly recommended by the 'Which? Consumers Association' and a 'Best Buy'. Looks smart, feels much more expensive than it is, great battery life. After only one week of use I couldn't be happier with this purchase, after owning a series of Android phones that gave me nothing but trouble.

Bought this phone for time being cz my old one broke down and i didnt have enough money to buy a new one. But the smooth touch and long lasting battery timming made me a fond of it. I must say its WORTH FOR MONEY even more than that. Its better than APPLE/SAMSUNG phone in terms of battery life and Fast processor. Works brilliantly on games and after using it madly for more than 6 month. I still charge it once in 2 days.

The camera quality isn't perfect but it is still great to use and provides wonderful results.
Do NOT listen to the Amazon listing - it says it is an AMOLED screen and it is just an IPS panel (it is still beautiful to look at with nice contrast, sharpness and colours).
Although it only has a single mono speaker, the volume and audio quality are great.

Good phone but having issues with the internet I got to keep turning mobile internet off and back on as it's stops working for some reason. Same as the WiFi. Should have kept my p20 pro tbh

BEST BATTERY LIFE ON ANY PHONE IVE HAD. FOR THE MONEY ITS ONE OF THE BEST PHONES OUT THERE. DEFINATLEY RECOMMENDED. I WENT FROM A SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE 8 TO THIS. I WAS NOT DISSAPOINTED. ONLY THING MISSING IS WIRELESS CHARGING. BUT YOU HAVE 35W FAST WIRED CHARGING. THATS FASTER THAN S21 ULTRA!!!

Very Satisfying Purchase four weeks on. Incredibly fast charging and long lasting battery life means that I never worry about running out of battery any more. The smooth 120Hz screen is a treat. The camera is also much better than I was hoping and is good fun to use. Excellent midrange phone.

you will need to find a converter for the charger so u can plug it up to the wall and use the dart charge feature, unless you find a different super charge charger for us based phones. this phone however meant all my expectations oh features,functionality, and yes 5g fancy for under $300 is a steal.

The search description and my order listed clearly state I am buying a Realme 7 Pro 5g which is what I was after but the device model ID is for a Realme 7 which is not capable of Android 12 at this time. Only just realised after seeing 12 offered for the device I had attempted to purchase and linked to by Amazon as a Pro model

I had to send this back as there were a few tech issues, such as connecting to mobile internet. I think I just got a dodgy unit. However, I also just didn't really get on with the phone itself. Hard to be more specific, so apologies, but I am much happier with the cheaper Motorola I then bought!

Was looking for a new phone but didn't want to break the bank.
Had the big names in the past and this phone certainly is as good if not better at a fraction of the price.

Still looking for a reason to not like this phone, does everything my Samsung S20 did. Really nice solid feel about the phone, comes with a screen protector and case. Quick and responsive, good pictures and great battery life, still over 50% hen putting it on charge for the night.

Couldn't have asked for more from £165 phone. 128GB internal memory, 5000mAh battery, 120Hz screen, NFC ...very happy with the phone.

I have purchased a Realme phone before and this one is as good as my previous experience. I can use the phone as hotspot for streaming Amazon prime to TV and because it is 5g it can handle 4k without any problem. The discounted price when I purchased phone £225 was also a plus point.

Do not buy the spirit if you have sky mobile or you will get no internet was not aware of this when I ordered it or I would not have ordered I've had to take out a new sim contract with O2 in order to get internet
