Great little mouse now without wires!
I've wanted a good wireless Ergo mouse for a while now. My first ever proper gaming mouse was a Microsoft Habu which for all intents and purposes was basically a DeathAdder with the MS name on it.
I've gone through more mice than I'd care to mention in the last few years trying to find the right one and they've just all had a few quirks, my favourite for gaming with was probably the Finalmouse UL2 however after having used wireless mouses for the last year or so it was almost impossible for me to go back to a wired mouse sadly.
The GPW is a nice mouse and lightweight but it tends to get an issue with double clicking which mine got and for the money it was hard to stomach getting another one when the flaw is quite widespread and you're essentially taking a lottery with them. The Viper Pro is a really nice mouse but again super expensive. And most recently I got a Model O wireless however this had an awful issue where the right mouse button would squeak, which was unbearable after a while. Then I came across this, I didn't even know that there was a wireless DeathAdder but there is and it's not overly heavy somehow and it's an old familar shape, I can see myself settling on this one for a while now!

Too small for big hands
I liked this -- at first -- but quickly started to tire of it as my hand started to ache. Previously to this I used a Steel Series Rival 700 and this one took too much getting used to as the shape really didn't suit my short-fingered but large hands si I've had to return it.
When I first connected the mouse I got a load of options come up but didn't have time to go into them at the time and thought I'd do it later but on restarting my PC after a little while, these options didn't come up again and I've never seen them since. Perhaps I could have reconfigured the buttons to suit but hey ho, we'll never know now.

Nearly perfect
Great mouse. It feels good to use, it's the perfect size, and doesn't feel cluttered with additional buttons (just two for Back page and Forward page). No issues with the functionality either, it does what a mouse should do right out of the box. It has some extra RGB features if you install the Razor Chroma application. This is kinda gimmicky, especially since it appears to require the app be open on startup in order to actually load your RGB setup (otherwise it defaults to rainbow). The only downside to this mouse for me is that there's a bit too much "weight" to the clicks. What I mean by this is that clicks require ever so slightly more effort. This only ever matters when you're clicking really fast, which is part of quite a few games, and applicable to me for sure. I have to drop down to 4 stars for that reason. For most other users I would suggest this would be a 5 star product.

Improved over the original design in someways, regressed in others
I had previously owned the original Deathadder when it first was released. It was quite comfy. Albeit with sweat soaking rubber coating, and a weak scroll wheel which broke in less than 3 months of use. It also used to have a standalone driver, and stored your lighting settings onboard the mouse's profile chip.
Comparing it to the V2... The V2 improved on it's material. It is a nice, smooth plastic which doesn't soak up sweat. The mouse wheel is greatly improved and seems rather durable - 3 months in and it shows no sign of degradation. Now, as for the negatives... The software. It is absolutely bloated trash. And it tries to force you to create an account, to use their cloud services. To add insult to injury, even after making and logging into an account it does NOT retain the chroma profile i set properly. It only works once the software has loaded. So during boot or when the system is locked, it reverts back to the default profile where it cycles through the RGB spectrum whilst pulsing. Rather disappointing.

Bought this to replace another Razer mouse that had the double clicking problem. So far no issues. Feels comfortable using for long periods too.

Несколько режимов для разных игр и различные режимы освещения действительно идеально сочетаются с моей системой освещения и пк с водяным охлаждением rgb. В целом, я бы настоятельно рекомендовал эту мышь всем, от новичков до таких людей, как я, которые потратили слишком много денег на игры и аксессуары. Если он есть в продаже, то это безмозглость, просто купите его.

A great mouse for small hands :)
I bought this mouse to use predominantly for gaming, although also for everyday use and it great in all aspects.
Firstly, the mouse is ergonomic and incredibly comfortable to hold, especially for small hands. The placement of the buttons (the two side buttons and the sensitivity button) is also really convenient and the mouse is nice and light, allowing it to glide very easily. While deciding on a mouse to buy I did a lot of research and looked at many mice since the average mouse tends to be a little big for my hands (for reference approximately 15cm length and 7.5cm width) and am very happy with this purchase. On the other hand, if you have medium/large hands I definitely would recommend buying different sizes of the deathadder as this is a great gaming mouse.
Secondly, the mouse is of great quality and seems to be made well. I haven't had any issues with it at all so far and it still looks like new (for reference about 6 months of daily usage). I also really like how the wire is covered in a soft material as it stops any friction (although this does make dust stick to it easily). This helps the mouse glide even more nicely than it already does. The mouse has really good detection and I haven't had any delays or issues at all. As well as that, the clicks don't require much pressure and work as intended (the click noise is also nice). The scroll wheel is also nice and sturdy, has good grip, but also doesn't require too much pressure.
Finally, the design. The mouse has a very nice design and it lights up very pretty. It's also really nice how razer has a free software that allows you to alter the rgb and sync it with any other razer devices. The design is very sleek and looks nice with the rest of my setup.
Honestly, no complaints at all. I haven't once thought a bad thing about this mouse, and it might just be the perfect mouse for me. A great mouse for small hands, and especially for gaming. I would definitely recommend :)

Почти лучшая мышь, которой я когда-либо пользовался. Я пользовался MS, Logitech и другими. Эта мышь легкая, очень эргономичная и обладает отличными функциями. Точность поразительная! Так почему же 4 звезды?
ИМХО, он немного маловат для взрослой руки. Она немного слишком легкая по конструкции, чтобы придать мыши тот солидный вид, который нам нравится.
И последнее: хотя некоторые программы (Razer Central и т.д.) полезны, они поставляются с вредоносным ПО.
Если бы эта мышь была немного больше и немного тяжелее, с более простым (менее навязчивым) программным обеспечением ... Я думаю, каждый бы это купил!!!! (Кто может себе это позволить)
ИМХО, он немного маловат для взрослой руки. Она немного слишком легкая по конструкции, чтобы придать мыши тот солидный вид, который нам нравится.

So Comfortable...
I've only used this mouse for gaming on rare occasions, it's been a very reliable and comfortable workhorse in a CAD workstation setup (paired with a Razer Goliathus Mousemat) for architecture for the last few years and its been almost without fault.
The cable is long enough to reach my workstation under the desk with ease (on the other side of my chair from the mouse) so the length is ample - the cable is very smooth to prevent snagging, but it does a great job of picking dust up from the furthest reaches of my desk.
I'm not one for having unnecesary apps running in the background, and unfortunately Razer's Synapse app is required if you want control of the Chroma Lighting - I don't have this installed so the mouse just cycles thgrough the light options of its own accord - which doesnt really bother me as my hand covers the logo when in use.
Only other slight gripe is that the clicks are noticble - I expected it to quiet down a little over time, but I guess if it's still going after two years it's never going to!

Время автономной работы при беспроводной зарядке кажется довольно хорошим и заканчивается только при очень длительных сеансах, но тогда все, что нужно, это подключить ее и использовать в проводном режиме в течение часа или двух, и все готово. опять же, однако, я недавно обновился с Razer Basilisk X Hyperspeed и не могу сказать, что разница в цене почти в 60 фунтов стерлингов достаточно очевидна, единственное отличие на самом деле заключается в том, что этот полностью заряжается от аккумулятора, а Basilisk работает от одной батарейки типа АА, а также у Basilisk разрешение увеличилось всего на 1 DPI кнопка, в то время как у этого есть кнопки увеличения и уменьшения, но в остальном я думаю, что Василиск был не намного хуже этого и не должен стоить всего около 35 фунтов стерлингов по сравнению с этими, цена которых на момент покупки была около 90 фунтов, кажется лучше, не этот стоит всего около 60 фунтов, но Я бы демонстративно порекомендовал Razer Basilisk X Hyperspeed по соотношению цены и качества.

Good while it works
(Writing this from my sister's account as it was bought on her account)
For the first 5-6 months it was working perfectly. It does make a loud click every time you click but if you like that over the silent mouse types then it's okay.
The side buttons work great and using razer synapse software you can change what they do easily as well as if you want the light of the logo to glow solid green constantly or pulse or just not glow.
But after the first 6 months, it started playing up and when scrolling down sometimes it lags and jitters and/or scrolls back up and it progressively got worse. It doesn't make it unusable but it is very annoying.
It's been a year and I decided to contact razer about it but turns out the support team is still closed from christmas/New years. Instead I worked with an AI chat assistant and as confusing as it was since it required you to test several things (most of which I had already tried) before it let you proceed and some of these would be very confusing for your average person such as installing drivers or updating software etc even with the guidance weblinks they give. Until only at the end they suggest two things. Either 1) send the broken mouse to them to check and then get a replacement or b) pay for a new one and then send the broken one and I would get a refund. Both options would be fine except for the tiny fact that you'd have to pay postage fees and as far as I am aware Raazer does not have a UK branch so that would be international shipping fees which are the same as the mouse so I might as well just buy a new one.
As razer technical support is off for another day I will be trying to chat again with an actual person in near future. I would call but again the call support says US and CA (same for chat) and I am not able to pay for external call fees.
So if you have a razer branch locally/nationally near you then it's okay but if you're outside razer main branches then I'd suggest maybe save yourself the headache.

Very good
Incredibly good, I was honestly surprised. I am personally biased to the 2.4ghz connection method due to lower latency but I don't honestly notice any difference compared to a wired mouse. Never had a dip in connection, super light when using 2x AAA batteries but even with the Single AA battery method the mouse has a good weight balance.
The overall mouse feels sturdy in construction, the top panel comes off to replace the batteries and is secured using magnets, but I don't feel like there is a need to be worried about the durability of the magnets but only time will tell.
The mouse feels good to hold very ergonomic and to be honest no one does it better than Razer.
3 Razer stickers are included in the box as well as a warranty that you register digitally, the app associated to the mouse is easy to use and work out independently but it's not the most incredible software for displaying the status of the product.
Overall great product
The overall mouse feels sturdy in construction, the top panel comes off to replace the batteries and is secured using magnets, but I don't feel like there is a need to be worried about the durability of the magnets but only time will tell.

Потрясающий внешний вид и ощущения
Пользуюсь им в течение недели, аккумулятор все еще на первой зарядке. Зарядное устройство выглядит как обычный кабель для мыши и может использоваться в качестве такового. Единственным недостатком является то, что это не usb-c, а более старый.

Works amazing and is convenient.
I recently purchased the Razer mouse and I have to say, I am extremely satisfied with my purchase. The mouse is very comfortable to use and has a sleek, ergonomic design that fits perfectly in my hand. The buttons are responsive and the scroll wheel is smooth and precise.

Shame it's not got RGB support any more
Used Deathadder mice for years. Solid bit of kit.
Not seen the Deathadder Essential until I need to replace mine this time, and at that price, you can't go far wrong.
Only downside, is that it seems Razer have pulled support for this model with regards to Chroma and RGB support, so whatever colour scheme the rest of your setup is, you're stuck with the Razer green on the mouse.
I'm not 'Greenist'
But I like a nice tranquil Blue.
Of course, if anyone has a fix for this please do let me know....

Excellent mouse for general use or gaming
I needed to replace my mouse that the scroll wheel that wasn't working very well and was jumping all over the page. Purchased this after looking into many reviews on mouses, without having to spend upwards of £60.
So glad i purchased the DeathAdder as it is very comfortable in the hand and nice click to the buttons and also handy to be able to adjust the speed of the cursor with the two button. If your looking for a comfortable, light mouse this is the one to go for.

A comfortable cheap clicker, bundled with a bunch of bother
I will say, initially, moving to this mouse was not an easy task. Previously, I was using an unnamed Bluetooth mouse - the model of which I consider fantastic, and cost less than this - but due to some malfunctions after over five years of use, I grabbed this mouse as a replacement, originally intended to be temporary as I tried to fix it. Shortly after, I couldn't help but notice the feel of this mouse was fantastic! It felt smooth on the hands, and having a mouse that fits a slightly bigger hand is a godsend. The side buttons are nicely placed, and it felt positive to me overall.
That is where my compliments run out, though. I plugged it into my PC, and that's where the trouble started. The mouse pushed me to download the Razer mouse software - I would've been fine with this, as this is a common practice nowadays. However, the mouse then CONSTANTLY pushed me too to download extra software for things that I don't even own, such as software for a ring light and a headset. After a lengthy process of more strained software adventures, I continued using this mouse for almost 9 months. That is, until, a few ugly problems started rearing their head concerning the scroll wheel. Often, when trying to scroll down, it'll keep trying to scroll up every few moments, and vice versa. I believe that the scroll wheel is definitely giving up on me, and am trying to find a suitable replacement mouse that'll carry me further.
Yes, the mouse does feel great, and yes, it is pretty good value for money - for as long as it lasts, at least. However, nine months is not a suitable time for a mouse to last you, and when a mouse with a cheaper price point lasts longer under more strenuous use, there are a distinct lack of excuses that you can make. I've been using this mouse for a few weeks and it's been amazing to use. It has a great ergonomic design fitting nicely and comfortably in my hand for either short or lengthy gaming sessions. From a few sessions in Aim Labs and longer sessions in other FPS games, I've found it to be accurate (talent depending). The side mouse buttons also have a nice placement and size so they're easy to reach but not in the way.
The software used to control the mouse's settings is simple to set up however it is worth noting the mouse doesn't have a customisable RGB light (you can control intensity and animation of the light but not the colour/hue - it's fixed to the Razer green). After buying this (as my first Razer product) I'll definitely be buying from them again. I can highly recommend this product for gamers and general computer users.

Genuinely good for price
I switched from a red dragon mouse to this, and it took a little bit of getting used to but it's generally a rlly good mouse. I love the way it's shaped and how simple it is, not sure about the software as Im not sure if you can change the RGB colour on the white one of not, besides that it's a great deal and a great mouse in general, the asthetic works well with my setup and it's very bright too.

- + Эргономичная, удобная для моих нужд. Питается от батареи либо АА, либо ААА типа, т.е. либо от одной либо от другой.
Съемная крышка оказалась достоинством. - - Для модели 2020 года - очень дорогая. Просто нереально дорогая при конкурентах с большим функционалом, но дешевле более чем двукратно!
Крутая фирма, я не ожидал такого сервиса ПО. Сразу накатились проги на выбор среди которых и чистильщик системы и регулятор RGB-подстветки. Там были ещё проги, но я поставил лишь эти.
Мышь оказалась чрезвычайно удобной! По нынешним меркам она тяжёлая, но идея со сменным аккумулятором перспективная, поскольку лишает вероятности выхода из строя встроенного аккумулятора. Понимаю, что это проблема больше - надуманная, но а вдруг?!
Единственная реальная причина, по которой я приобрел эту дорогущую, старую и неактуальную мышь - это ее суперский дизайн. Как дизайнер, я пересмотрел огромное количество продукции данного типа и в тесте за и против победила именно Razor V2 X Hiperspeed!
Она четко ходит по всему, она со сменными акумами (да ещё и разных типов), она очень удобна и надёжна (ничего нигде не скрепит) она невероятно красива (почти как Кристина Денисенко)!

- + пока не встречал качество-цена лучше чем данная мышь.
- - Некоторые сборки хлюпкие, к примеру сама поднимается верхняя крышка.
это уже 3 мышь, первая во время игр, поднималась крышка и приходилось надавливать вперед, что бы клики были нормальные. (потерял адаптер и не смог справится с заменой, пришлось купить еще одну). 3 купил для запасного компа, + попробую использовать для телека.
Эта мышь почему-то отличается, поверхность у нее сильно ширшавая, но руке как не странно приятно.
За 6 лет юзанья данной модели: 0 дабл скролла, 0 даблклика, 0 отвала usb и самое главное: 0 срывов с низкой сенс. даже у проводных не было срывов еще с 2008 года, топ мышь за свои финансы.

- + Мне нравится гибридная работа от батареек (АА или ААА), что позволяет не прерывать игровые сессии. Связь по Bluetooth или через USB-приемник стабильная, сенсор точный. Эргономика на высоте, рука не устает даже после многочасовой работы за компьютером
