The Magnifcent Mini <3
I heard this at my local store, but the price.. ΡΡΠΎ ΡΠ°ΠΊΠΎΠ΅ Π±Π΅Π·ΡΠΌΠ½ΡΠΉ 537 Π΅Π²ΡΠΎ Π² ΠΠ°Π½ΠΈΠΈ, POWER from store. So i bought a Samsung HW-K450 instead for 189 Π΅Π²ΡΠΎ. I wasn't happy with the Samsung, as the quality washed out on higher volumes and dialogue ΡΠ΅Π³ΠΎ muffled. Even though the Samsung boasts 300 Π²Π°ΡΡ power, and this only has 150 watts, the Polk MagniFi Mini is actually both louder, clearer and better on ALL aspects.
First impressions:
When i opened the package, i was amazed by the Polk MagniFi Mini. It really feels like a premium product! It feels sturdy, durable and the design and form factor is absolutely stunning on this device. The build quality is so good. It is so small and compact, and can fit anywhere without taking up much space. The MagniFi has a lot of connections and features for it's size and price point. HDMI (ARC), ΠΎΠΏΡΠΈΡΠ΅ΡΠΊΠΈΠΉ, AUX, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Chromecast and more. There is simply no competition to the Magnifi in terms of connections and features at it's size and price range. Furthermore, the Magnifi Mini comes with a Wireless Subwoofer. The subwoofer has a very slim and sleek finish, which makes it suitable for any living room. You almost don't even notice it! The remote is above average for it's price point, premium and very nice design.
ΡΡΡΠ°Π½ΠΎΠ²ΠΊΠ°:
The Magnifi mini comes with a quick-start guide, but who needs that when it is SO easy to use? It's literally plug and play, and the Magnifi works seamlessly with my Samsung tv. So i only have to use a single remote, instead of 2 ΠΈΠ½Π΄ΠΈΠ²ΠΈΠ΄ΡΠ°Π»ΡΠ½ΡΠΉ ones. I used the HDMI (arc) connection, as my tv had this feature. The soundbar and subwoofer connected automatically, and when i turned on my tv, the sound already came from the soundbar. How cool is that? Bluetooth and Chromecast ΡΡΠΎ too easy to setup, and it works very well via my Samsung Galaxy S6. I read reviews where a few people say the Chromecast and bluetooth is bad. This is not the case with my unit. Works amazing. No drop in sound or anything.
ΠΠ°ΡΠ΅ΡΡΠ²ΠΎ Π·Π²ΡΠΊΠ°:
THIS is where the Magnifi shines. The sound quality. I can make this very short and just say: AMAZING! But the Magnifi deserves more. The sound is VERY clear, especially dialogue etc. It's really really crisp, and you can hear everything perfectly. The virtual surround sound is also very good, of course it will never replace a true surround sound system, but it meets my needs very well. The soundbar has a wide soundstage which is surprising from such a small footprint. The Dolby Digital 5.1 does a good job at immersing you in movies, and widening the soundstage.
I really can't describe how good the sound quality is. MUCH better than a lot of Sound bars that's more expensive. The magnifi gives bang for your buck, literally. As for volume, it is definitely not the LOUDEST on the market, but it goes REALLY loud. If you don't live in a big mansion, and just live in a regular house/apartment with a medium-large living room, the Magnifi will do the job. It has Room Filling sound, and can go very loud WITHOUT distortion or drop in sound quality.
As for the subwoofer: it will not shake your house or give you a heart attack, but it is really boomy. You really feel the bass under your feet when watching movies or listening to music. I can't believe this whole system is only 150 watts, but the watts thing is misleading anyways. This soundbar is louder, has a better and bass ΡΠ°Π±Π²ΡΡΠ΅Ρ than Sound bars that are rated at 300+ Π²Π°ΡΡ, trust me.
ΠΊΠΎΠΌΠ±ΠΈΠ½Π΅Π·ΠΎΠ½ if you live in a regular house or apartment with a medium-large living room, and you don't want to pay insane amounts of money for a home cinema system (true 5.1, 7.1 ΠΈ Ρ. Π΄.) the Magnifi mini is for you. With it's clarity, loudness, amazing bass and sound quality, it will NOT disappoint you. This is the BEST soundbar system you can get for the price. Better than Yamaha, Samsung and Sony Sound bar in the same price range. It's on par with the big boys (BOSE, Sonos ΠΈ Ρ. Π΄.)
If you want something that SHAKES your house, like thunder rumbles and wakes your neighbours, this may not be the option for you. But if you want a small, compact sound system that still does an awesome job and gives you that cinema feeling, AND has better sound quality, crystal clear audio and amazing bass, this is it.

The soundbar has a wide soundstage which is surprising from such a small footprint. The Dolby Digital 5.1 does a good job at immersing you in movies, and widening the soundstage.
I really can't describe how good the sound quality is. MUCH better than a lot of Sound bars that's more expensive. The magnifi gives bang for your buck, literally. As for volume, it is definitely not the LOUDEST on the market, but it goes REALLY loud. If you don't live in a big mansion, and just live in a regular house/apartment with a medium-large living room, the Magnifi will do the job. It has Room Filling sound, and can go very loud WITHOUT distortion or drop in sound quality.
As for the subwoofer: it will not shake your house or give you a heart attack, but it is really boomy. You really feel the bass under your feet when watching movies or listening to music. I can't believe this whole system is only 150 watts, but the watts thing is misleading anyways. This soundbar is louder, has a better and bass ΡΠ°Π±Π²ΡΡΠ΅Ρ than Sound bars that are rated at 300+ Π²Π°ΡΡ, trust me.
ΠΊΠΎΠΌΠ±ΠΈΠ½Π΅Π·ΠΎΠ½ if you live in a regular house or apartment with a medium-large living room, and you don't want to pay insane amounts of money for a home cinema system (true 5.1, 7.1 ΠΈ Ρ. Π΄.) the Magnifi mini is for you. With it's clarity, loudness, amazing bass and sound quality, it will NOT disappoint you. This is the BEST soundbar system you can get for the price. Better than Yamaha, Samsung and Sony Sound bar in the same price range. It's on par with the big boys (BOSE, Sonos ΠΈ Ρ. Π΄.)
If you want something that SHAKES your house, like thunder rumbles and wakes your neighbours, this may not be the option for you. But if you want a small, compact sound system that still does an awesome job and gives you that cinema feeling, AND has better sound quality, crystal clear audio and amazing bass, this is it.
