Well I love over the ear headsets much better, but they always seem to break faster, because I wear glasses and it's more comfortable for my ears. This headset has the best sound i've heard throughout all the headsets i've ever had. It just hurts my ears. Also, this is the kind of headset where you put it on and right away it becomes hard to hear if anyone is standing next to you talking, and that's when you just have it on without and sounds coming through. The microphone is great, no complaints. I do hate having the boom go up to mute it. I like the volume controls though, and it actually controls your computers volume when you mess with it, not some unique volume for just the headset.I really wish they didn't hurt my ears, it would instantly get 5 stars if it did. I think the ear cups are actually kind of small, and I don't have big ears either. They squeeze against my head which makes my glasses also press against my ears/head. Maybe this would be excellent for someone with smaller ears, and someone who doesn't wear glasses.I wont be buying this again, but i'll promise you wont be dissapointed with the sound quality or microphone , just the comfort level.I also want to add on that sometimes the audio completely messes up. It turns into a staticy high pitched kind of thing, hard to explain. I have to unplug it and put it back in to fix it. Sounds great when it's working though..

This headset has great sound quality. I use it on a daily basis over Ventrilo talking with European friends. Recommend highly.

Perfect for my internet online communication, works neatly, perfect audio, and volume, good noise reduction as well. Glad I purchase this product.

Microphone broken after normal use for 2 months. The microphone is not physically damaged in any obvious way, but computers no longer pick up any sound from the mic. Would give it one star, but at least the headphones still work...

This product was recomended for use by Leo LaPort on his podcast. They work great. I highly recommend them when using Skype.

I had to replace my original headset because it broke. These worked better than the first ones, and at half the price! I was very impressed.

Horrible headset. Worked perfectly for a wonderful three minutes. USB connection was flimsy and kept cutting out/unplugging itself. Sound died in headphones after four "uses" and the next day the microphone died as well. Would NEVER recommend this headset to anyone.

This product works well for skype and is good for the lite user. A heavy user would want to spend a little more for a better and more comfortable set.

The headset works great. The noise cancelling aspect of it is good. The headset is not comfortable though, it is too tight for me.

This was a birthday gift for my grandson and he was ecstatic. He hasn't put them down since. Great for his gaming.

not great sound for music, but adequate for skype. my biggest problem is that the headset squeaks and crackles like crazy when any pressure is applied to the band or earpieces. it could use some felt or UMMV material in the joints to prevent this. this is not a problem with the speakers mind you, rather with the chassis that surrounds them. I've put up with this for a few years, but am now looking for a better solution

This headset is working just good. I am using it for Skype, listening to music and movies at my laptop. I have no problem with them after 2 months of using.

Ordered in Thanksgiving, now it's making some disturbing, squeaky noises.Nothing happened to it. It is just a Failed Product!!

Plantronics quality in a USB headset. Got it for Skype, but also works well for listening to video or music off the laptop or computer. Plan to buy another as a gift.

I have the wireless version of these headphones. Plantronics Audio 995 Wireless Stereo Headset I got these because they look almost identical except for the fact that they are not wireless. However, these headphones are significantly worse than the wireless version, .Audio 995.Pros:1) You don't have to worry about a battery.2) These feel more sturdy than the .Audio 995 in the headband area.Cons:1) The .Audio 655 are much tighter around the ears. It doesn't look like it could be all that comfortable for anyone. The .Audio 995 almost feel broken they are so loose and comfortable.2) There is lots of background noise. If you touch the mic with your finger, you can hear it in the speakers. This does not happen with the .Audio 995. On the wireless version, I hear zero background noise.3) The USB plug is very large and can block or interfere with other devicesI would recommend the .Audio 995 except you cannot replace the battery or talk while recharging them. I really like the quality of the .Audio 995 in terms of comfort and quality of the mic and speakers. I would buy the .Audio 995 or another brand. There are too many downsides to the .Audio 655.I use these with Linux and they are plug and play with Skype. Both the .Audio 995 and .Audio 655 are plug and play with Skype. Skype for Linux is a very old version so you will have all the usual fun of Skype not recognizing device changes properly, but a quick restart of Skype or the connection session fixes that.

This headset worked so well at work, I purchased one just like it for my home usage.The headset feels comfortable, when I am wearing it, and the volume level is perfect.

I bought this for my sister who needs to have a good headset to skype with her boyfriend in North America, and we tried it at home first. We didn't expect such a good quality for its price, but it's really good and the material is nice and handy. Would recommend it for sure.

Just be sure you store carefully, sound good, works well, but not much more then a skype mic and headphones

Plantronics has always been a great product. This headset works well, has great sound and is affordable. I would definately recommend it.

I was in need of a headset to use while on Skype, and after a little shopping around I found these here on Amazon. They work perfectly and my voice comes in loud and clear-everyone noticed the difference immediately. As headphones they aren't bad at all, but certainly not the quality you could get from spending a bit more money. For the casual headset user these are perfect; they represent the ideal blend of cost-effective and functional.I've been using mine for more than three months now with no issues.

Works very well for the price. However, if I use it for more than an hour, my head starts to hurt- hence the 4 stars.

I ordered these for 3 different people who all said it had great sound. So I ordered one for myself. The sound is unbelievable!

I liked how long the cords were and the sound was pretty good for such cheap price. the head piece got little too loose after using for few months. I guess you get what you pay for
