О магазине:
Долго искала в Интернете, не могла найти хорошие условия доставки и не с кем было посоветоваться насчет технических параметров подробнее. И вот случайно оказалась на сайте Сотмаркета. По нашему времени это было уже 8 часов вечера ). Нереально казалось бы в это время делать подобные покупки. По бесплатному номеру мне дали подробную консультацию о плате видеозахвата. Цены меня порадовали. Буквально через неделю я получила посылку в Горный Алтай, где и живу. Порадовало и то, что доставка всего 90 руб! И быстро!

Все отлично, буду советовать друзьям этот магазин! А устройство - не буду, ибо мне не нужны конкуренты в сфере оцифровки =).

cheapdidn't last long (I bought in June, its February and its dead. maybe 100 hours of use, but I doubt it that's much.this is the third video card I have purchased in 4 years. none of them hold up. the other two were a different brand, but very similar in size, price and sadly, durability. This one was the most expensive by about $30 more.does ANYONE have a decent card they can recommend?

Bought this and it managed to detect my Sony TRV950. The only reason to buy this is that my upgrade from desktop to laptop did not have firewire connection and this is the only product that I could find that allows my old video camera to connect to the laptop via USB.Software installation was tedious as it had to install a few times repeatedly before the whole software was done.Also, the software was a resource hogger.

I really hoped this device work for me.1) I bought it recently(at J&R with amazon paying service)after some info I found that it's drivers will let me use common free capture software. But... it's not the case, the cr*py drivers good only for the video, for audio you need to use your soundcard, Hey?? whats the point here? why to give a crippled driver?2) Was I lucky to spot a very tiny small pill-off on the box for free upgrade to VER15 just as I was throwing the box ? No!! Ver15 is as bad as ver14. I'm a pro video editor, I know many software. There are certain intuitive conventions used by all, well not pinnacle's. Things that can be done in seconds elsewhere, here needs to be done much slower and with too many clicks.3) The software uses .net (which I don't like, that's just me)4)When you try to custom install and put the "content library" on a different partion you will still find 500MB of sound stuff on your C drive.... and you can't delete it or move it, the program will demand installing it again.

Summary: The Studio MovieBox is great for laptops that do not have an expansion slot for an IEEE 1394 firewire card because it lets you connect either Firewire, supervideo, or standard RCA (red/white/yellow) audio cable to a USB port on your computer.We purchased a new CD video camera to replace our old mini DV video camera. We have been transferring the videos using our old desktop computer using IEEE 1394 firewire. The computer has a Celeron Processor and 1 GB of ram, so it was a painfully long process. I broke down and purchased a HP laptop (i5 processor, 6 GB ram) on the basis that the phone salesman told me there was NO expansion slot BUT there was a firewire-to-eSATA converter that I could purchase.It was very difficult to find, but I found a firewire-eSATA converter...but all the reviews said they do not work. I was stuck transferring the videos onto the old desktop computer, transferring them to an external hard drive, transferring them to my laptop, editing and producing the video. The new laptop was WICKED FAST at producing the videos but all the transferring was too time-consuming, as video files are extremely large.So either I get a new laptop or I find another method of transferring the videos. Come to find out, HP no longer makes a home-use laptop with an expansion slot. So I started searching again. Not sure why it was so difficult to find, but after a lot of searching I found the MovieBox and it is perfect! The MovieBox lets you connect either Firewire, supervideo, or standard RCA (red/white/yellow) audio cable to a USB port on your computer. So I was finally able to transfer videos from my camera directly to my laptop. I was skeptical at first because Firewire is supposed to be so much faster than USB2.0. I have used it to make DVDs from mini-DV and VHS and have had no problems with this product and am very pleased.

I needed to import my many MiniDV tapes into a laptop that had no Firewire/IEEE1394 input for editing. I looked hard and long at many options and finally settled on Studio Moviebox HD. I was very skeptical if it would work. I was particularly interested if it would work without the the enclosed Studio HD 14 software that came with it as I had another editing program that I was very happy and familiar with.I found that by exploring the installation disk (Studio HD 14), I could locate the driver and only installed that. There is a driver for 32 bit and 64 bit setups. I was happy to see that my editing program recognized my Panasonic mini DV camera and I was even able to control the camera from my editor. The conversion from Firewire to USB2 appears to introduce no degradation. I also tried it on a simple editor such as Windows Movie Maker 2.6 and it works! Just remember to import into Windows Live Photo Gallery and from there into Windows Movie Maker 2.6.So I am happy to report that I am satisfied with the product.

Purchased this product to digitize VHS tapes for transfer onto DVDs. Installation was a breeze and the product connected easily from by Sony dual-deck DVD/VHS player and to my Windows 7 box via USB without a hitch. Within minutes, I was transferring VHS tapes onto my computer and into Studio 14 via MovieBox. Scene detection was very good. This was important as I was converting several TV programs ladled with commercials that I wanted to remove. Finding the commercials and removing those scenes was quick and easy.Studio 14 software is OK as an entry-level product for movie making. I start making movies way back with Studio 8 but have since graduated to Premiere Pro CS5. This is my first Studio upgrade since version 9 and I see that not much has changed. The interface appears to still be limited to two video tracks. While fine for many projects, this is very limiting for advanced movie making.One feature in Studio 14 that is very nice (and that I have not seen in another product) is the ability to capture actual titles off of DVDs into separate files. Having many homemade DVDs with many titles, the ability to extract selected titles is a big feature. Most other products that I have used only copy the VOB files to disk, something you can do by hand without the overhead of another app. The VOB files are not much use by themselves so further editing would be required to obtain the exact titles. The title extraction is quite a lengthy process though.Overall, I rated this product as very good and would recommend it to friends would have a similar mission. Installation was quick and easy and the product worked as advertised.

I bought this product about 2 years ago to digitize several Hi8 tapes. Product worked sporadically and then stopped working altogether. Thinking it was my computer or a defective Pinnacle box (510-USB), I bought another Studio MovieBox HD with the Version 14 Studio software earlier this year. Still no luck. No more Pinnacle products in my future.I read some very positive reviews on the Grass Valley products (grassvallley.com) and purchased the ADVC300 analog to digital converter. Product works as intended without a fuss and is compatible with both Macs and PCs. It uses a Firewire interface and is not limited by many of the shortcomings of the USB interface. The ADVC 300 cost around $400 but before you cry wolf there are lower cost options from Grass Valley. Go to their web site and check out the various ADVC products which start at just over $100. I think you will be pleased with the outcome. See attached link [...]". Let me know what you think.
