  • - Попытка обмана со стороны производителя!
Люди!!!, Будьте бдительны, Пинакл хитрит. Предлагаемые устройства Крейтор и Крейтор Платинум на корпусах имеют маркировку DVC 100 (причем только что пытался их купить в двух разных магазинах), что соответствует устройству Dazzle Video Recorder которое работает по другому принципу и не имеет возможности аппаратного кодирования видео. Это "комплекс"...

  • + Фирменная вещь, а с такими всегда приятно иметь дело. Всё продумано и дизайн и удобство подключения и программное обеспечение. Особенно порадовала большая длина USB-шнурка и заглушка из пластика на USB-разъёме. Короче всё продумано до мелочей. Захват производил с телека и с видеокамеры-глазка, качество вполне приемлемое для устройства такого уровня.
  • - Дорого. Не отсоединяется USB-шнурок, могли бы сделать вещь универсальней. Обработка потока целиком ложиться на компьютер, потому его надо иметь мощным. Аналогичные устройства с аппаратным кодером стоят больше в 2-3 раза.
Просто хотел купить внешнюю плату видеозахвата, вот и купил эту брендовую штуку. Наверняка можно было бы найти что-нибуть конкурентноспособное от других производителей.

I purchased this package so that my son could record from his Xbox and learn some video editing. When it arrived, I installed the software and tested it with my video camera to make sure it was working properly. The install seemed to go fine on a Windows 7 laptop - I plugged in the hardware, the drivers installed, and the device was recognized. When I started up the Pinnacle Studio HD software the Dazzle showed in the list of available "Import From" devices; however, when I tried to import, I got an error stating "failed to get video from device".I contacted their customer support via chat (that transcript is below), when that didn't work out I asked how I could contact a supervisor and was given the general support number. When I called that number they stated that a "service code" is required to speak with someone on the phone. I entered the service code that was included with my software and was told that it was invalid. This stuck me in an endless loop and I had to hang up and call back.When I called back I wanted to see if I could speak with someone, anyone, without a valid service code - that is apparently not possible. The rep I was chatting with online offered to give me a new code if I scanned and sent him a copy of the receipt, but at this point I was 45 minutes in and extremely frustrated...After I had hung up the phone and closed down the chat, I received an e-mail stating:"Recently you requested personal assistance from our on-line support center. Below is a summary of your request and our response. We will assume your issue has been resolved if we do not hear from you within 5 days. Thank you for allowing us to be of service to you."I replied to that e-mail noting that the issue had not been resolved, etc and immediately received a reply from a "noreply" address that simply said "List has no rows for assignment to SObject".So I am left to vent here... Pinnacle apparently does not want to hear my complaints or fix the problem, so the best I can hope that others don't suffer this frustration. Needless to say, I will not purchase any products from Pinnacle again.Here is the transcript of my chat session:---------------------------Please wait while we find an agent to assist you...You have been connected to CUSTOMER SERVICE.ME: Hi, I just installed Pinnacle Studio HD with the Dazzle hardware. Ultimately, I am going to be capturing from a gaming systemCUSTOMER SERVICE: Do you have a camcorder or vcr that youCUSTOMER SERVICE: can use for capturing?CUSTOMER SERVICE: If your going to connect the dazzle device to the computer. I bought this used for roughly $45. The set up wasn't too bad, of course there were things I had to figure out and work around to get this to work. The TV I used was an old tv with only composite connection, the one with red, yellow, and white. And the quality was, as you guessed, subpar at best. The biggest problem for me was the subtitles, I could barely read the blurred subtitles in my recordings. I eventually had to buy the madcatz universal cable with the S-video connection to work around this problem. You can youtube how to connect S-video with dazzle for this info.Once again, you get what you paid for.

I purchased DAZZLE at best buy. installed software and tried to burn a DVD from a good mp4 file.No sound, and no way to get sound to play. Searched internet and soon found out my pinnacle software is ver 14, while the current version being sold is 16. found many similar complaints on the internet, NO SOUND. Spent days trying to get support, but company was sold to COREL, and corel does not respond.Will be returning it ASAP.

I bought this because it seemed like the way to go for purchasing something that would record game play for playstation and xbox. At first I thought I had it all figured out and then I noticed it being really choppy during the play back of my gameplay. I messed around with all the settings, searched and searched the internet, then finally ended up contacting customer support. After an hour on the phone the support simply dropped my line, so I had to wait another hour and then finally connected to a person. I told them my situation and they told me that they do not recommend THIS MODEL for gameplay recording. I wish I had known that, BUT NOW YOU DO!Don't make the same mistake I did.
