Where do I even begin? I have an engineering degree in mechanical design so I’m always curious on the designers intent. This was a challenge trying to determine which windshield adapter would go with my 2018 GMC Canyon. The only instructions you have are on the back of the package with metric dimensions. The answer to those who made the mistake of buying these wipers is “M” and “A” for a 2018 GMC Canyon. Just know most of these connections will require the “M” adapter. However you must remove the preinstalled adapter which is two pieces. I recommend in studying how this preinstalled adapter is connected to the wiper so you don’t break the wiper housing out of frustration. I used a flat screw driver to accomplish this with a prying motion. So once you accomplish removing the preinstalled connectors (which is meant for the J hook style found on the 2018 Chevy Equinox) you can either connect the “M” adapter to the wiper main housing and the “A” to the wiper arm on your vehicle. It’s best to do it this way since the “A” adapter is very deceptive on how it will connect to the wiper arm. This is important, when installing any of these adapters, make sure you hear a distinct “Click” sound. Believe it or not it could appear to be connected but it really is not. In my opinion these connection pieces are made of poor materials and will not even make it through a Wisconsin winter. If you live in areas where you will be subject to a lot of snow and ice I’m pretty confident these wipers will fail. That’s why I’m keeping my old wipers in the truck since they snap on and come off very easily. These blades are not worth the time if you find yourself outside in sub zero temperatures trying to replace these blades. I would recommend stick with the wipers you know and simply wash the windshield near the area the wipers rest at to avoid smearing grim across the windshield.

I put these on my Ford Escape in May 2019. It's now October 2021 and I'm just now replacing. I live in Northern Ohio so cold azz winter hot azz summers full sun not kept in garage. I'd definitely recommend these. They wipe/clean better than any others I've used which is all types sold by Walmart & Advanced Auto.

When I saw the other reviews I figured other people just had a windshield curveature that didn't agree with these blades, or they didn't install them right, or the arm spring was bad or something... I used to be an apprentice mechanic so I have lots of experience fixing different wiper blade issues and figured I'd have no problem with a reputable brand like PIAA.
I WAS WRONG. I've had these blades for a while now (haven't replaced yet because sunk cost fallacy) and they have a number of issues:
1. Out of the box they would almost always hop and chatter across the glass, even with tons washer fluid. After about a month of breaking in the blades this has become less of an issue, but 6 months later it still happens occassionally. Unacceptable.
2. Out of the box, with a clean/prepped windshield, they had streaks. They've always left streaks. Not unbearable, but the kind of streaks that I would expect after 6-9 months, but I certainly wouldn't expect crazy expensive blades like these to streak. Unacceptable.
3. Poor design of the hinge between the wiper arm adapter and the blad body allows for way too much wiggle. I can usually see the wiper blade wiggling and splashing/leaving water at the edges because of it. I took them off expecting to find something installed wrong or broken, but nope. Just bad design causing a bad noisy wipe. Unacceptable.
4. WIND LIFT. I've heard of wind lift, but even with budget wiper blades I've never seen any that were designed so poorly that they had an issue with it, until now. And highway speed the wipers will wipe up ok, but on the way down it'll leave a huge continuous streak right in the middle of the blade as the wind pushes it off the glass. This was reduced by adding spring helpers to the arms, but the arms are almost brand new so the springs aren't stretched yet. Holy cow what terrible and ignorant design especially for this crazy price. Unacceptable.
Maybe you'll have better luck with these than I did, but at this price I don't think there's any reason to pay that much just to experiment. PIAA, stick to lights, your wiper blades are absolute trash.

Noise free. Installation could’ve been a little easier. Can’t say about longevity yet because I haven’t had them that long.
