Don't pay extra for bells and whistles

I had read reviews that Philips is a great brand, and now that I bought this, I don't disagree. It is my first electric toothbrush since the 60s. If I had to do it over, I would have bought a simpler model and saved the money. This model lets you know if you've been brushing long enough, BUT I have to turn it off when I take it out of my mouth to spit. Otherwise the mirror, entire sink area and myself get covered with splatters of toothpaste. So when I turn it off, it restarts the timer, and as it turns out, I have never once reached the point where it is telling me that I have brushed long enough. In my opinion, these timers are a silly feature.

Electric Toothbrush that works great.

This toothbrush comes with, 3 heads, a charger and a travel case for when you're on the go. So far we've used it for a couple days and the battery is still going strong and if this is anything like the previous sonicare toothbrushes that I've owned, this battery might last 2 weeks.

Although most electric toothbrushes nowadays have this feature but it has for 30 second timers so that you know when you have to move to different parts of your mouth as you're brushing your teeth.

it's great and it really feels like your teeth are being clean when using this product.

Should have gotten one of these years ago.

After speaking to my dental hygienist and a friend who had an electric toothbrush, I finally decided to get one. The difference is like night and day. I can never go back to a regular toothbrush after using an electric toothbrush; there's no comparison in how much of a better job this thing does on my teeth. The hardest part of using it was getting used to letting it do the brushing; I keep wanting to use it like a regular toothbrush and move it up and down for brushing strokes. I finally stopping manually making brushing strokes and just let it do it's thing. My hygienist could see the improvement during my first cleaning after using this toothbrush. I gave one to a friend as a birthday gift and she loves it. And she said that she her hygienist also noticed an improvement during her cleaning after using this toothbrush.

Black Friday Toothbrush Upgrade!

I picked this bad boy up on a black Friday special markdown; it's been on my list for a month and couldn't pass it up with the price drop.

The best (and most annoying) feature is the three different brushing modes with the three corresponding brush heads. It's a great touch but changing out between three brush heads gets time consuming when brushing your teeth.

Roughly 80 bucks for a toothbrush may seem nuts but this brush is pure class all the way and worth the money.

Black handle with white head

I gave two star, because I ordered this in black, it came with black handle, but white head which I didn’t understand why and also hard to accept. Every morning was I brush my teeth, it reallt wired to look at black handle with white head, other than that everything worked fine,

Best purchase ever

Before using this toothbrush, even by using Colgate Total toothpaste (my favorite), I used a regular handheld brush. My teeth would still be a slight shade of yellow, and would not get the clean I wanted from a toothbrush. I always timed myself, flossed and everything, but every time I went to the dentist, they'd make that comment. I was always embarrassed to smile.

I bought this on Black Friday, and have had it for 2 days so far. I could not be more happy with my purchase. No more ugly surface stains and my mouth feels professionally clean (like after a tooth cleaning). If this is the result in 2 days, imagine how much better it will be in a month. If you are on the fence, don't be, it is in my opinion the best toothbrush I have ever used.

Nice and slick but messy

I have been looking for an electric toothbrush and found that Philips sonicare are the best toothbrushes. I ended up getting this toothbrush because it was a very good deal. The toothbrush is nice and slick. Before I used to brush my teeth twice at a time to make sure I got everything. This toothbrush has my teeth feeling clean afterwards. Only thing I don’t like is how the vibration causes all the toothpaste to get everywhere. It makes a mess and I need to clean my mirror and counters every time.

Great Toothbrush

This is an awesome toothbrush. I've had sensitive gums and sensitive teeth for the last year. My dentist told me to get an electric toothbrush and that it might help, so I did. My teeth feel really clean now, the light stains on my teeth all came off. My teeth look white and my gums and teeth aren't so sensitive now. It's been a few weeks into using it, but I am happy.

I did notice that this week my charging station gets stuck on the toothbrush, and I have to pull them apart to separate them. This didn't happen before. Other than that, im happy.

Good for 5 months, then broke from normal use.

Worked great for about 5months. While using it tonight, though, noticed that the noise it makes was different... more buzzing/vibrating than usual. Inspecting it I found that the metal piece that the brush head pushes onto is no longer securely attached to the base/handle so the brush head moves/vibrates vigorously when it's turned on. Very dissapointing.

Excellent Product

So far this is a great product. I only charge it when the battery is low. The flashing light indicator and the "beeps" tell you when the battery is low. The only suggestion would be the instructions need to be a little more accurate. I was trying to hear "beeps" then finally figured out that the "beeps" are quick short vibrations by the brush at the end of brushing. Other wise I love the color and the thin slick design.

Give a C2or C3 brush head Philips !!

I have used oral b's electric toothbrush for 4 years and wanted to give this one a shot and see if it was as good. The biggest problem I have with this is it does not come with a plaque cleaning C1,C2 or C3 brush head. Philips wants to sell a electric toothbrush or an experience but gives 2 whitening and 1 gum care brush head. Doesn't make sense to me. I should invest in a brush then invest more in buying the right brushhead. They could as easily give one cleaning brush head so people can experience the full potential of the brush. In a few weeks I felt it wasn't cleaning my teeth properly. I was going back to the oral b to get a proper clean. Pros are good battery life and a nice case. Good build quality

Love this

I was hesitant to spend more than $10 on a toothbrush. I had this toothbrush in my cart on and off for 5 months, I finally bought it. I am so glad that I did, it’s worth every penny. My teeth have never felt so clean. Normally within 4/5 hours I feel like I need to brush again but my mouth feels fresh all day with this toothbrush. It came with 2 diamond brush heads and 1 for gum health. It’s very easy to change the heads if you plan on sharing the unit. Definitely glad I bought it.

7 months later . . . no good!

It worked great when it was new but after about 3 months it got louder and shakier. Now it's worse then ever. I let it go for a few more months thought it might be normal but it's really bad. I do not recommend to buy this product.

Improved my gum issues within 6 weeks

I went to the dentist and found out I had bad gum issues. Therefore, I bought this toothbrush right away. My gum problems have improved greatly in 6 weeks. The battery life is long lasting. My teeth feel polished and clean after using. It has a special whitening and gum mode too. My teeth look several shades whiter with regular use. The only thing I wish was different is the toothbrush head is smaller than I expected. I like a large brush head for cleaning my tongue better. Otherwise, everything is great with this toothbrush.

Great toothbrush if you want that clean feeling

Love this toothbrush. I had the older sonicare toothbrush and it worked great but I felt the base was a little too thick. This on the other hand was the perfect size and has a really long battery life. I went on a week long trip and didn't have to worry about taking the charging base with me. The only problem I have with the toothbrush is that I feel the head might be a tad bit small. I'd like it to be just a little bigger.

I saw good reviews so I brought 2 box first day of use it the motor not working not moving .. 1 weeks the second one motor making loud noise didnt work unknow what happen following all instruction. Either bad product or they send me 2 bad one ...

Malfunctioning before 6 months

I have used Sonicate toothbrushes for several years, and recently bought this one in Oct 2020. However, it began malfunctioning as the brush head does not connect properly, and it made a sound as if something waa loose inside the handle. When I turned it on, it was incredibly loud but does not actually work as intended. Now it does not charge or turn on at all. Very disappointed that it did not even last a full six months. Not worth the price.

Love this toothbrush!

I have had this for a few months now and absolutely love it! My only issue is that the battery doesn't last as long as I would like, but I don't mind charging it once a week. The bristles that came with it are perfect, the travel case is actually used on the daily and the price is great too :)

Missing parts and parts don’t fit as they’re supposed to

The toothbrush is just ok. The brush head that they have on the box is not the brush head that I received. The brush head does not fully snap onto the toothbrush, but it still works. I’m not sure I would purchase again. For the price I paid I expected the things listed above to be correct. Hopefully, it works well.

Honestly was expecting more. I know it is just an electric toothbrush but it’s overpriced. It is too strong even on the lowest setting and it feels like it’s doing more damage at times then helping. I think this is a much too overpriced product in my opinion

Love this toothbrush. Comes with 3 brush heads and a travel case. Super easy to use. The timer function is amazing to ensure you brush the right amount of time. Your teeth and mouth feel significantly cleaner compared to a manual brush. Love it.

There is no difference between the three models

Big brand quality is guaranteed, it's ergonomic and comfortable to hold, lightweight and battery life is good. It's really good that comes with two brush heads, but a black toothbrush with white head is really ugly. I don't feel any difference in intensity or time between the three modes.

Tickles my mouth

This tickles my mouth a lot. I have used oral b electric toothbrush before and never had this issue. Also, brushing the inside of the front teeth is a bit tricky because of the size of the brush head. Comfortable to hold and brush. There’s no color rings to identify brush heads if you and your spouse use it. Oral b had the color rings that made it easier to identify each other’s brush head.

no longer charging after 5 months

Very poor customer service from Philips Sonicare.
After long waits and speaking to two different people,
there was no resolution for a product that is under warranty.
Now I need to call back again and try to get a part replaced.
So frustrating.

Update: I called customer service a second time and had a totally different experience.
The issue was resolved and a new charger is on the way.

Check out the strength before using

I'm sure there are plenty of people who love this toothbrush but it's a bit too rough for me. The vibration feels like my fillings are rattling around and this is on the low setting.

Love this toothbush!

I bought this because my carpal tunnel makes it painful and hard to brush. The Sonicare is light and doesn't require the constant up and down, helping out my wrist. Plus,the battery lasted over 2 weeks out of the box. After 2 months, I love it.
