My hair texture is wavey and thin and long hair almost upto bump.. i used it and it gives natural straightening effect it just reduced the frizz and make my small hairs straight remaining hairs just become smooth and iget natural straightening effect not a pin like straightening..but that's what im looking for so um happy..but it's super hot must use heat protection spray/serum before

Not as good as a flat hair straightener
I ordered this product for my wife looking at all the positive reviews. She has thin shoulder length wavy hair and was expecting to speed up the process of grooming her hair on early weekday mornings with this brush. She liked the idea of the product however, she was not satisfied with the performance.
To start with, although this tool heats up pretty quickly but it is quite heavy especially in comparison to any other flat iron. Having the power socket on your left doesn't help the situation. It doesn't work well on hair roots and tips, my wife even burnt her right ear while trying it out around that area.
You cannot even use it as a regular brush as you have to pick a section of your hair and then brush it under and above while holding it in your one hand. And, given the weight of the brush and the amount of hair to be straightened, this could be quite cumbersome. On the other hand, you can style your entire hair the way you want with a flat iron with much less effort and in a lot less time.
In nutshell, it is not helpful at all if you are planning to buy it to reduce the time to get ready for office in a rush.

Such a great product! I actually bought another one to gift to my cousin sister also. It's not like other straighteners. It's super easy to use, dries really well and allows you to control the temperature as well.

Great and easy to use product
I ordered this Philips Hair Straightning Brush BHH880 from Amazon. I loved this product a lot actually I bought it at 3099₹ it was on discount I think it’s a steal product it’s very good for your hair as it is with Kerashine Protection it does not damages your hair as regular straightener does to your hair !
Second thing I did my hair in just 5mins that quick ? Yes that quick :) and also on the lowest setting It would be much low time consuming if u straight your hair on the highest setting !
And the last thing I was so much worried as I owned normal hair brushes , my hairs tend to stuck in them and I wasn’t able to get it out and it looks gross so I was worried as it is the electronic hair brush would my hair get stuck in the brush and turn gross in some months ? Absolutely no u don’t even have to touch the bristles and the hair comes out :)
I m overall very happy with this product ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5stars for it ).

Don't throw your hair iron yet
As a regular (daily) user of a hair straightener I was looking forward to use this to reduce the time to fo so. It works but is certainly not a complete replacement to a traditional hair iron. If you are in a hurry and want to get frizz and some waves out, you can use this. While I knew it wouldn't give me the dead straight look, I expected at least a little more than it did, given the claims on the box. At best, it gives you the straight blow dry look. Given the eide brush, I did not get good coverage close to the scalp without burning my head. That's more of a design flaw. A hair iron is better at that. So, this is not going to replace a hair Iron but will help you tidy up in a hurry.

this is my honest review.
i have used this product 2-3 times now. my hair is neither too thick nor too thin and is a bit wavy. this product didnt even make my hair straight it just made it a little manageable for sometime but after 15-20 minutes my hair became curly and wavy again.
i dont think this product is worth it.
If u have curly and wavy hair please dont purchase this product this doesnt work
Instead go for a refular straightner atleast it will make your hair straight .

Before you spend money on this product you should know
1) its good for long hair only
2) if you want to have proper straight hair look, then this product is not for you.
3) gives you a more natural and subtle hair look

Excellent product.. time saver... Easy to use 👍
I loved the product mainly bcz it's so easy to use and time saving. Since I had gone through a parmanent straightning a couple of year ago so now the new growing hairs were making a trouble. And I had to tie a pony always bcz they looked so frizzy and meshed up. But now u can see the another pic of mine. They all are cmpltly straight. And I m happy with the experience. I have gone through all the reviews b4 placing the order and trust me it's worth buying. Yes it's true it doesn't gives u a poker straight hair.. it's only possible with permanent straightening but u can definitely go for it if u want to have natural straight hair in just few minutes. 😃

A reliable brand
Philips never seem to disappoint when it comes to their self-care products and this hairbrush is no exception. Lives up to it's name and it's purpose. Does exactly what it is suppose to do and does it fast. If u have extremely curly hair, it would take a lot of time to get ur hair straight. I recommend watching review videos if that's the case for any if u. This hairbrush is meant to work fast only on semi-wavy and wavy hairs.
All in all a worthy product. My sister loved it.

Frizz tamer but not exactly a straightener!
Have used this on unoiled hair many times. While it tames the frizz and renders a smoothened hair, it does not give you straightened hair exactly. You're better off using a clamp-styled straightener for that.
I don't know what exactly is it's function. You can use it like a hair brush, so one can say it's a hair brush that gives you hot hair. Hot feel to the hair, I mean. It doesn't at all straighten hair, it smoothened the frizz, but after some ten mins your frizz will be back.
I think you can place your bets on that kerashine straightener instead of this. Save your money.

Awesome product
If u are a busy person and has no sufficient time to straighten your hair, this is definitely a product u must have.It just straightens your hair in one go...it adds shine ,makes your hair silky. The only thing I feel bad about, is that it has a large paddle cause of which you might not be able to work on your roots properly.And it heats up very fast and gets toooooo hot.So one must be very careful while use this product .Apply a heat protectant on your hair. This is an awesome product and I m already obsessed with this❤️

If you have a curly hair, please dont buy. Its just waste of money and doesn’t work at all.. it will do very little straightening effect.. that also wont last for half an hour.

Waste of money and false advertisement.
False advertisement, I saw its ad that said it will straighten your hair in 5 minutes. I did all the necessities required, I washed my hair, then I dried it, combed it, added a Thermoprotecting serum, then I used the product, even after using the product for 20 minutes on high heat setting my hair was as frizzy as ever, I did it for 10 more minutes, then my hair became slightly straight, I did my straighteening at 8:00 am by 12:00 am the straightning effect fizzled out and my hair was frizzy again.
Horrible product, a total waste of money, will not recomend this product to anyone.

Blessing for frizzy hair.
I am writing this review after using the brush straightener for just 2 times.
Both times on fully dried hair and on the higher heat setting.
I have frizzy and long hair with medium thickness.
About my amazon experience:
Received this product in less than 24 hours of placing the order.
The very first thought that came to my mind when i saw the product was "is this original?"
If any of you have the same question, then Yes! Yes, It is original.
I doubted it because, the box was slightly damaged, but the product was fine.
And then the heating plate on the brush was supposed to look purple, but when i opened it, it looked silver(could be because of my room's lights, i don't know).
Then When i took a picture, It looked purple in the pics.
After heating, it looked much more purple than silver. So that way i was relieved.
To be a 100% sure, i registered my product on the Philips official website immediately.
Note before using product:
1. Make sure to comb and detangle your hair properly before using this product to reduce hair breakage.
2. Start brushing your hair in sections. You can take bigger sections than what you would normally use on a flat iron.
3. Follow the instruction manual.
4. Very Important: Register your product on Philips official website immediately, if you want to use the 2 year warranty service.
Pros:
1. Heats up within a minute.
2. Can get naturally straight hair in 5 minutes. Not sleek straight. But definitely a smooth straight. If you know what i mean.
3. Super easy and quick to use. Even if you're in a hurry, you can use it.
4. Perfect for everyday use.
5. You don't need to make tiny sections, as opposed to a flat iron.
6. The black bristles are longer than the heating bristles, so even if you touch them accidentally, it wont burn your hand or scalp.
7. This is a blessing for frizzy hair type.
8. The cord is 180 cm long. And the swivel cord could help avoid breakage.
9. There's a loop in the cord to hang it on a hook.
Cons:
1. As quick as it heats up, it doesn't cool down quickly after the use. It takes almost 15-20 minutes to completely cool down.
2. It's a bit pricey. Definitely an investment though!

Great straightener for a natural look
I love this straightener more than all others I have bought till date. It is easy to use, does the job in under five minutes and best of all, your hair looks naturally set and not salon set. Also, the effect lasts almost till your next hair wash. It has lasted me two full days easily.
Do not use it as a dryer. Air dry and untangle your hair for a bit before using this. Comb your hair with this as you would normally and it gets rid of all unwanted waves.
My hair is wavy and mid-back length. If your have close-cropped curly hair, I am not sure this is the product for you, because of the length of the bristles and the thickness of the brush. For all others, it's great for daily use.

Bad product by the famous brand
It is no where comparable to a regular straightener. Makes straightening faster but the results are not that great. Should completely detangle before using it or one will invite a nightmare. Straightening effects don't last long even for 2-3 hours. Very poor product by the reputed brand.

I feel you require something that can be used wet to dry and style your hair at the same time.
This can't be used on wet hair hence it is of no use, first you need to dry your hair and then use this to style (blow dry straight). It is time consuming and using two heat products can damage your hair, rather use a dryer and straightner.
This works good on dry hair but in todays era we need something on the go like dry and style together.

Not worth the hype
I have been wanting this product for a while, with all the amazing reviews. Don’t waste your money not worth it. If you have a good hair dryer it will do a better job styling than this. One more thing after brushing with it if you happen to touch your hair you’ll almost burn your hand. Plus results last only for couple of hours. My hair is somewhere between straight and wavy.

It's really easy to use
It's a time saver for me. I am a struggler with hair straighteners. I never learned how to use it properly. Everytime I tried using normal hair straighteners, I ended up messing my hair. And this one is so much easier than everything. I was thinking twice and thrice while placing this order. But considering the fact that I can't handle normal hair straighteners and after doing a lot of research about this product, I finally decided to go with this one. And after using for almost 2 months, I am glad I bought this. Seriously, this saves a lot of time.

Product does not work for Thin Short hair
Firstly the product is slightly on the heavier side. Secondly the product doesn’t work on thin short hair. Thirdly it would flattens ur hair and doesn’t give that volume. I personally did not find the product that useful. At this price range there are better products available in the market. And as the return window had expired so was unable to return the same.

Perfect for frizzy hair and easy to use.
I have frizzy and wavy hair because of which they get tangled very fast. I have always used a brush instead of a comb as only that works for my hair. For me it was an easy transition when I decided to try Philips hair straightener brush. I use it just like my old brush but instead it gives me much better manageable tangle free hair within minutes. Now it's very simple, quick and easy to get smooth straight manageable frizz free hair without any hassles for novice users like me.

Won't even switch on!
Can't comment on temperature control, ease of use etc as the device wouldn't even switch on!! This happened the first time I ordered it in September. Returned it. Re-ordered it last week, got it today and again it's not even switching on!! Kindly don't keep sending such defective pieces to customers . No rating option of 0 stars hence rated one star.

Worst experience .
I'm not going to give any stars to this product. Because it's not working at all , not for once..two times. I've ordered this in prime sale. The product which I've received was not heating up even after 5 mins. The indicator light is not at all blinking . I had put a replacement order the same day. And after I received the replacement item , the story is same. It was not heating up. Worst experience with Amazon.

My wife had an eye on this product since a good amount of time. Got this for her and she was very happy. Here's her review.
Initially she used to use straighter which used to take her good 30-45 mins to straight her hair ( she was using it on regular basis for years), but after using this brush, it takes her 15 mins to straighten her hair.
The temperature control is super smooth and very convenient and simple to use.

Love it!
I have pretty unruly hair, you know the kind of hair that won't behave no matter how much you oil them, condition them. On top of it, the monsoon season makes them worse. So, I decided to buy this hair styling brush to make them at least manageable and to my surprise they did become straight (as in natural looking straight) and pretty manageable too. I am writing this review after just first use and I must say, I am veryyyyy happy. Will update if I face any issue in weeks to come. Thanks to Amazon for fast delivery, I was almost having a nervous breakdown due to my frizzy hair :)

Excellent product . Heavy duty all metal body proves that this brush is made of good quality stuff. Must buy if you have curly or wavy hair and not looking to waste time and money in salons. Good investment for your hair care regime.

Great product
Its an awesome product. Hair become manageable. Don’t expect parlour pokey straight hair but my curly hair looked so much better after using this brush. PS: This review is coming from someone who is addicted to straight hair, have got smoothning done 4 times and goes to parlour twice in a week for getting hair straightened.

If we use flat iron its really long lasting but it will damage your hair so, im going with brush.

Works for me
It's not going to straighten your hair but yes let your flyaways settle down a little and make your curly hair wavy straight.It works for me cause the only reason it makes my curl s smoother and kinda keeps my flyaways in check but yes if curly haired people looking for absolutely straight hair then you ll be disappointed

Magic Wand for Smooth Straight Hair
I have fine, dry, frizzy n curly hair.
It works like magic in just 1-2 rounds on the brush with the lower heat setting. Right side shows my normal hair & on left is my smoothened straight hair.
I m very happy with this heated brush as it acts like a magic wand to get rid of all the frizz yet does bot give you poker straight hair...they are smooth n straight.

Great as a way to improve scalp blood circulation
When i get stressed i get scalp pains ...the roots of my hair feel tight and actually hurts. Its a psychosomatic condition. I also have long hair. I bought this to ease those pains and it works quite well. In combination with warm oil, combing long hair in the morning this makes for a useful device.

very effective for setting your hair
If your hair is like mine - it is generally straight but frizzy and very fine, so that it looks limp on some days and bouncy without any shape after a shampoo, then this brush sets it just perfectly. I think calling it a straightener is a bit of a stretch but you can achieve a salon-like hair setting after using it. I frankly won''t visit a salon any more just to make my hair look like it's in its place. I have straightened my hair twice before, and this brush doesn't straighten the hair that way, but definitely keeps it in its place and makes your hair look tidy.

Finally found something I was looking for :)
So far I have had all major hair styling products from Philips. All products have been great, however Philips hair brush is indeed a technological innovation. It is as simple as combing one's hair, and the hair bristles gently, and glides through the hair to get the desired straightened hair. Although, it won't have an exact "pressed or parlour straightened look", but it will make the hair look healthy, shiney, and gives natural volume if you have long, wavy or curly hair.

Hair looks gorgeous
I ordered it a couple of days ago and got it at a discount. I read quite a few reviews here and saw a few videos on YouTube as well before ordering. There are two things I learnt:
1. Hair must be smooth by applying a hair mask or conditioner. Otherwise it doesn't work well on frizzy, rough hair.
2. Hair needs to be fully dry and mustn't be damp.
I was quite impressed with the outcome and hence highly recommend it.
