Super fast delivery without recipe book 😬
The product arrived within 24hrs of placing the order. I was disappointed that there is no recipe book in the order. Further feedbacks after using the device.

I used the product for the first time to fry fish my favourite delicacy. I set at 200 C for 10 min after pre-heating for 3 min at 180 C. The fish was very well done with crisp exterior and was cooked well inside. I loved it. Except that the cleaning with take a while since I was unable to remove the mesh from the tray. But no big hassles. Since I liked the outcome of the cooking, I am changing the rating to 4 from 1. I was disappointed that they couldn't provide a recipe book. I have downloaded their Airfyer App which includes the recipes. Further updates later.

Impressive product !!!
Received the product in a brown cardboard box with Philips tape. Upon opening the box, another box with Philips branding contained the air fryer. This ensured that I received a brand new product.
Cooked some McCain products for the first demonstration to my family. The snacks came out well cooked and tasted good. Oil brushing would be required for homemade dishes.
Good product overall.

My mother loves it!
Gifted this to my mother. She was reluctant to use it first as she is used to the usual frying process. But as she got used to it, she loved it! She still thanks me for this (even after 2 years) because this has made her life so much easier. Some yummy snacks can be made in this air fryer with minimal effort. It's especially great if guests are coming over and you quickly want to prepare snacks. Amazing product! And Philips is better than other brands in this category.

Finally unboxed the item and tried to cook fries and found out that the the product was damaged . Really disappointed that I received a defective product after paying so much money. Not worth it at all

Broken - Be aware
My product was broken when it arrived. Unfortunately I was out of town (proof of travel available) when the product was delivered and could only check a month later to be shocked and feel so much of my hard earned money was wasted. Its kept untouched and unused. Please help if you can

Used product delivered
Not at all a pleasant experience as it seems I have received an Used product. There are
a) Scratches all over the body
b) Tray when opened couldn’t be closed completely due to a loose part in the Tray compartment which was obstructing Tray closure.
c) Box should have User Manual, Recipe Book (as shown in unboxing videos). There are no such things present inside the box.
Have ordered for a replacement.

No recipe book!!
It is definitely easy to use n totally mess free but it Is definitely not easy to clean. My biggest complaint is that there is no recipe book with the airfryer. Didn't expect this from a company like Phillips who is a pioneer in this field .After buying a product worth 10 k ,they expect us to search for recipes online!!!

Product doesn't work
We bought this a couple of days back and tried to prepare French fries multiple times, but not even once were the potatoes fully prepared. We prepared it for 45-50 minutes on 180 and 200 degree, but it never worked. It just made the potatoes a little warm and that's all. Philips is not more a trusted brand, the light switches on for just a minute and turns off. The technician even couldn't cook potato fries(very small pieces) himself even after 20-25 minutes. Also the technian/customer support in Bangalore is bossy, even though their visiting hours are from 9-6, the technician says he works only between 12-4 and is not ready to come after 4. Philips isn't doing things correctly.

Air frier technology is not at all good for frying. It use heat & high speed air which make the food very dry.
For healthy cooking (oil less) micro oven is best.

Nice fryer . Easy to clean.
It is nice airfryer come with heavy socket electric cord .Arrived in safe package in big box without any damaged . Come with indian receipe book. I tried fish with it and it is tasty. Just follow the book for use. Easy to clean .

Defective products and Delivery nexus
A damaged and already used product was sent by the seller. After multiple attempts to return/exchange the product the seller has ensured that delivery team continuously fail product verification citing false reasons and didn’t pick the product. Looks like a nexus is being run around this where customers are sent defective items and then delivery team plays hand in gloves with seller. Amazon also is unable to take any action against this practice.

don't go by the product dimensions, its the box dimensions
The specifications on amazon says product dimension is 35cm x 35 cm x 37.8 cm, however that's not the product dimension, that's the box dimension (post packaging). The product itself is very small (philips website shows the actual dimension 28.7 x 31.5 x 38.5 and capacity of basket as 28oz which google says is 0.8 liter, which is further different from what we received .. which is somewhere around 29 cm x 29 cm x 31 cm height). There is no mention of the 'liters' or volume capacity of the pan and I had gone by the product dimensions to think of it as a large unit as it was just slightly small than the Havells 6.5 liter unit. We generally trust amazon on such stuff. However, this one is super small in terms of the pricing Vs product capacity. Please beware, the product size doesn't justify the price ! Amazon really needs to pull up the seller in this case as he is giving wrong information. No complaints about amazon service, though ! They promptly took the unit back and refunded as per their policy

Ideal for bachelor not for family
I returned this product since it had small capacity, not ideal for family of 4. It is good if you are a bachelor and eat 3-4 only pieces of grilled chicken. Else for a family you would have to do many rounds of grilling which defeats the purpose of saving time with this gadget. There are other bigger ovens in the other brands with lower or same cost which is ideal to cook for a family and provided with many accessories. Philips air frier is good only for one dish mainly, French fries, but then that's it.

Review for Philips Viva Collection HD9220 Air Fryer with Rapid Air Technology (Black) : Those who like French fries , Chicken Fry , Fish fry..and all fried item.. This is a best product for health conscious people who wanted to try all fried items . Not a 100% oil free but need 10-15% oil required to get that same taste. A definite asset to Kitchen . Has a mesh tray which is not very easy to clean. I also purchased a double grill which perfectly fit inside this can provide an additional layer for frying when the bottom layer is filled. I feel this should be included with it. I am really enjoying it. I had to return the first product due to a loose coil fitting. I could fix it myself but wanted a good one. second one turned out to be nice .passed all my Quality test..
A tip: Don't not shake the whole basket to flip the food. Its best to remove the mesh tray and shake the food instead. The tray is resting on a clip and will get loose if not carefully used. I got it for Rs 7700 .The best price we could get recently in Amazon. Thanks to Philips and to Amazon in bringing this wonderful items to Indian homes.

Quality issue from manufacturer
There was a small damage during transit caused very bad experience and big trouble to bring it usage. After opening the console which we will keep items for frying is not going in side. The photo which I have sent will explain you. Being a technical person I don't want to return back to look into its problem. So checked fully and found that there were two metallic strings holding the heating coil. One of the string came out and it's obstructing the console to go inside. Then patiently seen inside where that string has to be fixed and found the place then fixed. Then it's working fine. Oh God till that I had some tension. My advice is that you please take care of fixing such a small things to avoid big troubles and for unnecessary returning which is causing loss to you. This you should advice manufacturer to avoid these types of issues.

Must buy.
Received it 2 days back. On time delivery. Cheers amazon. Tried it today with a variety of frozen foods..Excellent product. The only reason I deduct 1* is, for if it says 20min of fry time, do 15min. If u follow the book recipes u will have dry hard food. Bad recipes or chefs who guided them on timing. Discover ur own textures. Overall hardware is good.

Useful product but not ergonomic
Works well as an air fryer. Very easy to clean. However, could have been more user-friendly. No pilot lamp to know whether power is on (available on some versiond, but not on this one). Very rudimentary user manual - gives no useful information at all, and the design of the timer rotary knob makes it very difficult to set time accurately.

Easy and convenient
Very useful for chicken fish paneer and othrs to fry and roast. Very convenient for bake a cake . Difficult to clean but convenient when soak in water for 5 to 10 min . Accessories of pizza plate and cake bake accessories must for effe tive use. Fish stuck in the base this is the only main problem. Pakoras , samosa taste change after roast in air fryer so its better to make in oil . Very convenient for fish loving persons .

Philips Daily Collection HD9218 Air Fryer
Arrived on time and was well packed. This is the second Philips Air Fryer I am ordering so obviously I am happy with the product. Sad to see that the "ON" Indicator light has been quietly deleted from this model. Who knows why! It was a useful feature to have and a backward step on the part of Philips to remove it. Have docked them 1 star for this.

Good Quality
I had to have the first one exchanged as i had received it with a lose heater rod (inside the fryer). They exchanged it within two days and after that I have been using this fryer regularly and have had no problem with it. Good quality and good seller-service (with regard to the return). The air fried food turns out really well.

He intentado hacer algunas recetas y todo ha quedado bien, en freidoras de aire recomiendan mover constantemente lo que quieres cocinar para que quede dorado parejo, sin embargo creo que por el diseño de esta marca en específico no es tan necesario voltear los alimentos, no en vano la califican como una de las mejores marcas de freidoras y ni qué decir del precio, durante el buen fin la compré como en $1700mx.
Único detalle a considerar es que la canastilla es más pequeña de lo que hubiera esperado, aprox 18cm x 19cm, sin embargo, para una pareja o familia pequeña está perfecto.

Interesante adición al equipo de cocina.
Ahorro importante de aceite y de energía, ya que cuento con paneles solares en casa. Comidas mucho menos grasosas, ricas. Un poco pequeña la capacidad de este modelo, aunque para mi familia de cuatro es más que suficiente. Buena compra.

Satisfecho con el producto
Muy útil, y práctica, es cuestión de hayar la temperatura y tiempo para cada cosa, (aunque trae su manual) no hay como el que uno practique y salgan las cosas a su gusto. Cumple con lo que dice, y las cosas no necesitan aceite, aunque yo terminé usando un poco de aceite de oliva en spray para las papas. La limpieza es muy fácil, y siendo sincero si se ensucia bastante de la base, me pregunto cómo será en la parte del motor dónde no tengo acceso para limpiarla. La compré en oferta y por ello estoy satisfecho con mi compra.

Antes de comprar esta freidora, me pase revisando todos los modelos que se venden aquí en Amazon, al ver las opiniones de la freidora Philips entonces me decidí a comprarla y estoy cien por ciento satisfecho con mi compra, la freidora es muy fácil de usar, es rápida, el sabor de los alimentos es exquisito, es un aparato sólido y bien hecho.
La he usado varias veces y estoy feliz, por mi condición cardíaca debo de cuidar el consumo de grasas y definitivamente esta es la mejor manera de hacerlo, si piensan en comprar freidora, esta de Philips es la mejor opción.

Excelente producto, prepara platillos muy ricos
Los platillos son muy ricos, no saben exactamente igual que los fritos en proceso normal, pero obviamente, por la cantidad de aceite que evito comer, diria que el sabor es excelente, no me arrepiento de haber comprado este producto.
La limpieza, es facil de hacer, quizas mejorar un poco la calidad del teflon para que no se le quede pegado nada, pero, al final no es un desastre de limpiar.

Freidora aíre caliente buena
Realmente no quedan las papas fritas como se ven en la propaganda, pero si saben bien y si de entrada le pones un poquito de mantequilla y sal y hasta les e puesto sazón completo y mejoran el sabor. He hecho quesadillas y quedan bien, he frito huevos en un plato de postre y se pega un poco por los bordes, pero queda bien, no he intentado con carnes, pero intento en algún momento.

Excelente freídora de aire
Es la primera ferídora de aire que he comprado, la cual ha resultado bastante útil y práctica; es super fácil de limpiar, ya que tiene pocas piezas. Se pueden preparar distintos tipos de alimentos muy fácil, además, se pueden cocinar agregando menos aceite (más saludables) y dejando menos tiradero en la cocina. Un electrodoméstico muy útil.

Me encanta!
Con tantas opciones en el mercado, me parecía difícil elegir una freidora de aire, un conocido me recomendó esta marca y ha sido todo un éxito, calentamos pan, hacemos galletas, papas fritas(primero las hervimos) y el tofu queda delicioso. Ha reemplazado a mi horno convencional pues somos una familia pequeña.
