Small & Portable
This was exactly what I was looking for in a small radio to place on my kitchen counter. Is easy to dial in radio stations to get the best reception. The sound is not the greatest for the one speaker, but it does come through clear. Have not used with batteries so not sure how that works, have just used plug in which works well. No frills, just a plain little box am/fm radio; just what I was looking to purchase!

Pulls in distant, weak stations
I live in New York City. At night, in bed, I like to listen to old radio shows that are broadcast by a Canadian station in Hamilton, Ontario. The station is CHML, 900 AM. My previous AM/FM radio could barely hold on to the stations signal and it would fade in and out.
This radio is terrific and picking up that week, distant station as though it is right here broadcasting in New York City.

So far so good....
I bought this to replace one that I purchased from another manufacturer (that died about a month after purchase). It still works and seems to be much better quality. The only reason that I gave it 4* is because the signal strength seems weaker.

Great AM and FM reception and sound quality!
I am extremely happy with this purchase. Tuning dial is tight. The large speaker offers powerful clear sound! Not all radios have a good AM reception, which is what I was looking for, but this one does! I purchased at the same time as the Dream Sky (similar price and size).This was $4.00 more but WAY better in sound quality and in being well built. I sent the Dream Sky back!

Glad it was not busted.
I liked the sound quality. I did not like that they just stuck it in a flimsy plastic mail pouch so when it got here the box was all busted up.

Great Reception
The Rf-2400D radio has very good reception. I also appreciated that it locked on and stayed on the station on which it was set. The sound, for a small radio, was acceptable. For the price, I think this is an excellent radio. I would not hesitate to purchase it again.

Great portable radio
AC/DC was the deal maker, along with the Panasonic name. Bought for an emergency radio. Sounds great, with plenty of volume. Routinely picks up AM stations from hundreds of miles away. Not disappointed.

very good radio at a bargain price, May not satisfy all.
I like the radio with one reservation, the tuning is confusing. I believe all of the local radio stations are picked up by the radio but the tuning is a little difficult because the dial has limited list numbers on the dial. I don't go so much by the numbers and since I know the frequencies of the stations I listen to. I tune in by the numbers represented, then dial in my station by listening to the stations for a momentt and then dial in my desired station.
The radio works well for me, but may not satisfy all listeners. Fidelity is excellent for the price

The FM and AM reception on this radio is very very good
This radio has very good, and clear sound quality. Easy to use right out of the box. The price for this radio is excellent, you would think you'd have to spend more to get a radio of this quality.

this radio lives in my kitchen. No more messing about with my phone, apps, wifi, etc to hear music as I cook. I have it set to my favorite station and so just sliding the on button is enough. Clear sound, compact size - this radio is perfect I even took it on vacation.

Compact but nice tone.
I really like this little radio. It certainly doesn't have any bells or whistles but for a radio that you want to keep handy for occasional use, this one fills the bill. I like the fact that it has an ear phone jack so I can use it with my under pillow ear phone. The only problem that I found is that it doesn't have a dial light so you must be in a lighted spot to change stations if you want to see the dial.

Solid inexpensive radio
This is a really solid inexpensive radio. By having both battery and plug in power it is perfect for our hurricane prep and use.
