I love this system. Easy to set-up and easy to charge. The first day I had it sitting on the window ledge to catch some fresh sun rays, but after the initial charge it uses ambient light (from even my room lamp) to get its charge. Getting it to synch up with the World Time Clock took it over night to do it. I know plenty of impatent people will complain about it not synching up right away, but a few of my clocks took it over night.
There are three distinct time / date / day displays that you can choose to be displayed at the bottom row, but it will not allow you to see both the time and date at the same time. I have it set to display HH:MM Dd. The display is large enough for me to read from about 5 feet away. So when I wake up in the morning, I can read the temp / time. Logically, I would assume that you would want to see the indoor temp first and using the largest font, but this is set up to display the outdoor temp first, indoor temp second.
It has a back light function is set on the top, but on the back half of the clock. Its completely flush, so I have a hard time actually activating the back light to view it in the dark. Normally the back light / snooze is set slightly higher to activate it, but this button sits at an awkward position.
Its pretty accurate as I measured it against a stand along a Honeywell (TM005). It off by about 0.5 degrees from the Honeywell in both indoor / outdoor temp, so its good enough for just a regular Joe to get an understanding of the temp. The weather predictor (image display) is pretty useful and somewhat accurate. I would have rather opted out that display for a humidity indicator instead. What...no HUMIDITY?? From the product description, it says that it provides the following: Weather Forecasting, Indoor/Outdoor temperature and humidity. Well, unfortunately it doesn't provide humidity.
I still kept it...but if you know how to get it to read humidity, please let me know.

It took so long to them to respond back my first email about a defective clock that they sold to me, and the answer was: "This was a brand new clock so we know it was not defective.

I did not appreciate waiting for so long to get some type of answer like that.

Это замена для предыдущего датчика, который стал неточным после 5 лет в любую погоду. Он работает хорошо, и я с нетерпением жду еще как минимум 5 лет

Так как метеорологическая станция, я увидел его немного бесполезно, это дает мне прогноз на Франкфурт, я живу в Базеле около 300 км, у нас была исключительная погода на неделю, на станции поменяли между пасмурную и дождливую каждый день<.БР />к счастью, я получил его за полцены.<бр /><бр />часы работы, свет хорошо сохраняет выключила свет, когда вы входите в комнату.<БР />

Loved the design of this item especially the detachable solar panel; however, ended-up returning item due to outdoor temperature not displaying properly. For extended periods the main unit displayed a dash-dash (--) reading for outdoor temp. This item was used in north Florida so temps, while around freezing, were not terribly extreme. Sensor was set under a back porch and beside a glass door with main unit just inside so distance/obstruction should not have been a problem.
I called Oregon Scientific to see if they could recommend a remedy as it seemed random as to when/if outdoor temp would display or not. They suggested putting outdoor sensor by a glass window or door (already done) and changing alkaline batteries (which were supplied) with Lithium (which I bought for an additional $10) as Lithium should not freeze as easily.
Doing all the things recommended, the unit still randomly displayed outdoor temp which was the main reason for purchasing item so it was returned.

Второй датчик
Это второй датчик для моего Орегон bar208hg. Он был deteched сначала попробовать на базовой станции и работает до сих пор. Первый дистанционный датчик находится в нижней части моего сада и sheleted от дождя большие хвойные. Этот новый датчик находится в моих кроликов. Так что можете держать глаз RU на условия в зимние месяцы. Если темп становится немного низко, я поставил ему горячий прижаться кольцо в Хатч !

I had a feeling this was not the best "weather station" around, but it is just useless! I cant make it work the way it is supposed to in any way. I have spent almost two days trying to get it show me the weather on one place (any where in the world), but no way. Another funny funny thing is that it makes my wireless doorbell play all kind off funny songs! I was scared as s.... the first time, but soon found out they are using the same frequency !

Надежный датчик для измерения температуры. Только теперь и тогда при низкой температуре датчик теряет сигнал. Может быть, некоторые проблемы с конденсироваться влага?

Великолепно
Мой хрустальный метеорологическая станция.
Метеостанция для дома-это то, что я слышал о но никогда не видел, пока я увидел один на Amazon, это поистине удивительная часть оборудования было поставлено в три дня от заказа, и это и работает, дал мне погоды двенадцать часов.<БР />

Я очень люблю эти часы Кристалл является очень точным его слишком ярким, чтобы идти в спальню, хотя так что теперь он получил почетное место на моей каминной полке :О) люблю его!

ок, но.....
Выглядит необычно и стильно, но светодиодные фонари очень яркие для устройства постели не будильник на утро. Позор это не займет батареи.

The thermometer itself works well enough although seems quite slow to update. The purpose of buying this product over any other thermometer, however, is for the ability to chart temperatures on the pc; and the software simply doesn't work. When attempting to display the readings, it generates a runtime error and crashes. Attempting an install on a separate pc results in the application not launching at all with an error that the side-by-side configuration is corrupt. Both pc's otherwise run without a hitch, just not this software.

Excellent clock and indoor/outdoor temp. However, the product features on Amazon list indoor and outdoor humidity. The RMR331 does NOT monitor humidity, or at least I have not figured out how. I was interested in humidity when I bought this unit. I will keep it, but was disappointed in the lack of correct features.

Very well constructed, real clear visible display, very easy to use, 3 sensors synced with a one touch
Fast reading we use this unite in our cigar shop inside walk in humidor and inside cigar lockers about 90 feet away
We love it and I am buying another unite just like it for our second location, relative humidity and temperature are very critical in our business.

We had some trouble getting the thing to work in the first place. had to uninstall a couple of times with our Windows XP computer, and then had to resent the remote device a couple of times.
but then, we upgraded to Windows 7 and the thing doesn't work at all. They say it cannot be compatible with Windows 7. Needless to say, we are not pleased. They didn't see Windows 7 coming?????

<промежуток класс=>пришлось купить другой датчик, как в прошлый раз длилось всего 10 месяцев. Если он пойдет тем же путем, будут думать о разных метеорологическая станция. Как он становится дорогим, чтобы держать замена датчика наружной температуры на эти цены на

Это второй датчик для беспроводной Орегон метеостанции, нужно, потому что первый не всегда в тени.

<промежуток класс=>большим нетерпением метеорологическая станция, но хотел, чтобы это обеспечить минимальные и максимальные показания, а также, но к сожалению это не предусмотрено, поэтому 3 звезды.

Но первый класс обслуживания клиентов решила все за меня и поэтому не могу жаловаться. дал 5 звезд, как я уверен, это было бы нормально, если бы я получил его!
