- Заряжать можно, но понять текущий процесс сложно.
- Долгое тестирование при подключении:

My experience with the Optimate 4 has been excellent and I highly recommend it. I use it on my 2005 Yamaha V-Star 1100. Bought the bike new in 2005 and bought the charger from Amazon in 2010. The original battery is still installed and going strong, thanks to the Optimate 4.
My battery was completely dead and I was pretty certain that I would need a new one when I decided to try the Optimate 4. That turned out to be a good call because I'm on year 6 of the "dead" battery.
It continuously cycles between testing and charging/refreshing. The lights indicate what the charger is doing and the condition of the battery. The lights are not super-intuitive to interpret but the manual lays it all out very nicely.
I'm writing this review 6 years after my purchase and it has been completely trouble-free so far. Just recommended it to a friend today which is what inspired me to post this so long after original installation.

I purchased this to maintain the AGM battery in my 2007 R1200RT, while it sits waiting for the Spring to arrive. It has worked perfectly on it and on the weakening battery in my 2001 VW Eurovan, prolonging it's life until we made it back home. Once you understand what all the LED's mean, it is a good diagnostic tool as well as an excellent maintainer. I haven't used the CAN BUS connection feature yet and not sure if I will since I have some BMW connections which are direct to the battery.

I now have 2 motorcycles , so needed a 2nd . My original is still going strong 17 year later , I'm sure this will be the same .

I first purchased one of these for myself. Liked it so much I have bought several as gifts for others. You just plug the thing in and it takes care of your battery. No thinking required. Easy to use and it works.

My battery still died while this was plugged in over the winter. I got a new battery for this season so we'll see if history repeats itself. I'll update if this truly is a piece of crap.

Have tried this on many different batteries from small motorcycle batteries through large diesel equipment batteries. Results are mixed. I had several medium sized batteries on ATV's that I was having problems with. The charger went through all its tests and said those batteries were good but they were not and had to be replaced. It does make a good small charger that can be left connected in the off season to maintain a battery but its diagnostic functions aren't trustworthy. Also, you will definitely need the manual to figure out what all the flashing lights mean. Keep in mind this unit outputs less than one amp so if you have a large heavily discharged battery it will take a very long time to charge.

So far, it works great. It seems to be well constructed and charges my batteries as described, however, it might be a little over sensitive with the battery testing cycle. It did correctly diagnose a bad battery but it also diagnosed another working battery as needing replaced. Maybe the battery will eventually need replaced but so far it keeps working without my intervention.

Easy instructions. Worked like a charm. I thought my battery was toast and was not sure if this was going to work. But it did and I was in the rider seat within 24 hours. (took 12 hours to recharge the battery)

I highly recommend this battery reconditioner/charger! Out of 4 dead motorcycle batteries that wouldn't charge normally, I was able to save 3. The 4th had an internal short and couldn't be repaired. With the cost of motorcycle batteries, this device has paid for itself a few times over already! This was a very good investment.

this TECMate 4 does a good job as advertised. I 4 bikes in the garage and some have electronics that draw current when not operating. Over time all batteries will loose voltage, and this past wither I neglected my bikes and batteries lost voltage. one dropped to 2 volts. Two others dropped to the 9 volt range. usually this is a death sentance but the TecMate 4 brought 2 full back and the 3rd almost full. Ended up only replacing that one. This unit will be on my batteries all year now as I don't have time to ride all the bikes that much.

Still try en to figure how to change the modes. Saids to change functions by touching neg and pos together either plugged in or not ?????????does not make sense. Cannot find anything on the internet except having to download for a fee or get a virus. I would never buy ever again. Instruction Manuel that came with it was for someone who worked there and knows every thing about the product. I really feel like throwing it at a cement or concrete wall if you know what i mean.
