Fingerprint scanning doesn't work on most renewed models!
USED/RENEWED BUYERS BEWARE!
This is a Great phone, but there is an issue that plagues MANY of the models you find renewed or used. The fingerprint scanner will not work. It is a known hardware issue in the forums. Ive had to return two due to this as I use my thumbprint to access almost everything. I'm hoping the replacement I'm sent this time will not have this issue as well, but I suspect that 99% of the renewed models do not have functioning fingerprint scanning. My older mod Oneplus 7 Pro has never had any issues with the fingerprint scanning. Seems to be isolated to Mclaren models, which are now discontinued partnership models.
TLDR: Beautiful Fast Phone - broken fingerprint scanning on used models usually.

Phone won’t do any upgrades.
I have received better refurbished phones before. The phone itself isn’t bad, although it must have seen a pretty good fall as it is dinged up on the top corners. It comes in a generic white box with a standard USB cable and charger, which is the first downfall as I was hoping to get the Warp charger. There is no case, which is the second downfall as the MaLaren case is beautiful. The main reason I will return it though is that it doesn’t seem to upgrade. It is on the October 1, 2019 security patch! OnePlus has also rolled out Android 11 but this will probably never come through. I guess you get what you pay for.

I had the one 6 I was extremely satisfied with it that's why I went with this, I've had more internet problems and had to constantly reset the phone so I get it to work better.

OnePlus.
Not a 5G phone as described. Freezes up randomly. The screen was awesome on the refresh rate and the camera was pretty decent. I'm sure it was a great phone at the time it came out.

Complete lemon refurb, terrible return service, waste of time
Would not recommend, no cosmetic defects until half the screen turned black and bricked me out of my new phone and data. Amazon support team tried to pawn it off to the manufacturer instead of compensating for another replacement (even with the warranty not void).
This amazon experience has been total crap. I'm telling everyone I know about this BS and to get there phones from a more trusted refurb provider like SWAPPA or GAZALLE.

Run... Don't buy.
Horrible phone. I've owned the OP3, OP5t, the OP7 (China version), and this atrocity being the 7t pro McLaren. Slow, won't pick up 5g, constantly needs reset, won't reconnect to wifi, sometimes won't wake up the screen.. among many many other issues.. This has been a real turd of a device for 6 months. I would run as far away from this device as possible. I would give it - stars if possible. I gave it a solid 6 months before review hoping it would get better.

Really liked the phone, but the reception is terrible. But the phone itself is great, And has an outstanding camera, as well as display.

i do not recommend buying from this seller !!! the phone was #dirty, and there is some breakage (see photos). The front camera makes noise when it goes out .... it was disgusting as an experience, especially since the phone is a gift !!!

Sucky seller
Phone seemed nice but refurbished was not done in order to use T-Mobile. Ordered a replacement and had same issue with separate SIM cards. Waited a week for replacement. Very disappointed in seller. Amazon provided very bad service for both replacement and original device. Too bad.

No funciona, la señal movil se mantiene por un momento y pierde señal. Tanto Amazon como One plus no dieron solucion al problema ni se hicieron cargo de su producto defectuoso. Nada recomendable comprar este articulo

Impressive Refurbed OnePlus 7t Pro 5g McLaren
Purchased this Refurbed phone to replace a OnePlus 7 pro I owned since release. Was a great phone, great design, solid cameras and battery life, unfortunately it got damaged beyond repair when it flew off car roof on highway.... For the $315 bux I paid for this McLaren, I was a bit nervous about the quality of refurbishment and what I'd actually get. But reviews were solid enough to take the risk. Received it, unpacked and booted up and set it up within 30 mins. Everything went flawlessly.
As advertised, pictured and verified, it is in fact a TMobile branded, network unlocked phone (I use TMobile so not an issue in my situation either way). Battery health/status right off the bat as pictured is 90% capacity, and may go up a bit once a few charge cycles are done (which happened on my previous OP7P when I replaced the battery (aftermarket battery went from 92% to 95% capacity capability after a few cycles and performed as such). No evidence of AMOLED screen burn in (which my 3 yo previous phone started exhibiting), assuming it's a replacement screen, or even could be original unused phone in it's past life. Fit and finish is as good as new. Only very minor thing I noticed is a light scratch on screen, but very hard to see unless at the perfect angle under light to catch it within 12" of my eye (as amazon ad started for excellent condition), and not even that big of a deal once I install a screen protector on it shortly.... Back panel is immaculate and flawless, along with the sides etc.
The packaging and included accessories I uploaded also to show what to expect when you receive it.... Comes with a 3 foot generic cable, and an 18w max capable charging brick, which are sufficient and not a big deal for me since I have the original OnePlus cable and 30w brick if absolutely needed. Overall, phone performs and looks as good as new, 9.9/10 score from me taking into account the very minor superficial scratch on screen.
So if you are into the form factor, performance etc of this generation OnePlus phones, I recommend it for the price and it still holding its own against the latest and greatest flagships.
Will update this review if I discover any issues within the 90 day return/satisfaction/warranty period
