The product worked great. Put it in my telephone and it started right up as I wanted it to do. Postage charges from this provider were extremely costly and it was sent to me while in the US so no overseas postage charges

The battery I received was not what I thought I was purchasing and it did not last anywhere near as long as the original battery. It seems most OEM cellphone batteries being offered by these resellers are used, counterfeit or both. In my experience, you are better off spending a little more buying directly from Amazon (Lenmar Cellular Phone Battery for Nokia 1100, 2610, 6030, 6085, 6555 Series) or the phone manufacturer. For older phones, RdoShck or batteriesdotcom tend to offer higher quality batteries with long warranties that are truly new and they don't hassle you with returns.

Our local store wanted $30 for the replacement battery for our baby monitor (Levana Babyview 20). It was super confusing to try to find which battery model would work but I figured for $6 it was worth the risk and thankfully this one worked.

As other reviewers have mentioned, this product didn't work. When I plug it into my Nokia 1100b phone, the phone says 'not charging'. Even when plugged in for hours, the battery did not charge. Be warned it didn't work -- at least not for my older model Nokia 1100b.

got my order today,i'm very dissapointed because it is not new!used.they make money out of ready for recycling battery.i hope it has enough juice for the price,i'll just let this review be a warning.

Battery works great and was cheaper compared to an OEM battery. Been using the battery for a year now. Excellent replacement for older aging factory battery.

hi. i purchased this charger for my nokia 3120. the transaction was smooth and the delivery was in time. but the product does not work at all. whenever i put my mobile for charging using this new charger, it gives the message "not charging". i had taken this for keeping in my office. i can charge my mobile using my other charger at home. that means the charger provided by vortex cable is faulty.i had asked them to replace the same. they replaced and sent a new one. The new one was also faulty and could not charge my mobile. when i contacted the customer care, they refunded the money saying that the entire product lot was faulty. i have given them 1 star for timely delivery and smooth transaction and refund.Thanks & Regards,Hiten A. 850MAH LI-ION BATTERYI just got a '850MAH LI-ION BATTERY' BL-5C Nokia battery from:Shipper and seller 'SF Planet'AKA'CCMAccessories'AKA'Malcom Distributors'I have just received the battery and have it charging. I am unaware of how it will perform but will return when I am.This note is to point out that this product seems to be an official Nokia product with an official Nokia hologram sticker. The only worrying issue is that the 'serial type' number on the hologram has been marked over. I don't know what this means but it doesnt seem right.________________________________________Oct 8 2008Okay I'm upgrading my rating to four star. I charged the new out of-the-box battery on Sunday, ran it Monday, Tuesday and today Wednesday until it died at 4pm. To me that's good, that the way a new Nokia battery should act.It looses one star for the dodgy logo number cover-up which I rubbed off.My Nokia 6230 is happy and so am I.

The battery available from "SFplanet" is NOT a genuine Nokia battery, it's a generic one. But for $6 that may be what is expected. The much more expensive battery direct from Amazon is a genuine Nokia product. Too bad they use one photo for several quite different items.

All in All the battery works fine. One small problem, the battery is a little thicker than it should be. This leads me suspect that some one is selling slightly defective batteries. I have no proof of this except for my battery. This causes the back of the phone (cover) to not quite fit. The battery does charge & seems to work fine other than that. I hope this is just a problem with mine.

I didn't buy this particular charger. I bought one on eBay for about the same price. I don't know if they're from the same manufacturer but who cares? The point is it's a basic piece of electrical equipment that's hard to screw up.Even Walmart wanted $20 for a no-name charger. That's ridiculous.It's the same for batteries. The official Nokia or Motorola or Samsung brand batteries cost an arm and leg. Buy a no-name one for $6 to $9 and save your money. I bought no-name batteries for my phone a few years ago and they're still going strong.

I purchased this battery for a Nokia 6230, it holds a charge the same as the original battery included with the phone. The battery was purchased directly from Amazon, not through a marketplace seller. While Amazon's price is higher than the marketplace sellers, it is still about 15 less than R.Shack. Amazon's battery is genuine, I was able to confim authenticity at the Nokia web site, where I entered the 20 digit scratch off number located on the front of the battery.

Bought this for my Nokia 6230. This battery works just great and it is original. As one reviewer had said before, one can check the authencity of the battery by entering the serial number in Nokia's site. My phone, which was dying with the old battery, has now got a fresh lease of life. The battery usually lasts for about 2 - 3 days for me (around 5 to 6 hours of talk time). This battery has higher mAh (more battery power) than the same Nokia BL-5C sold in other countries. Pleased with the battery life. I think the negative reviews may be from people who bought cheap counterfeit batteries from sellers in Amazon Marketplace.

I bought this as a replacement battery for my Nokia N-Gage QD about 3 months ago. I've had my n-gage for about 2 years now, and thought it was time to get a replacement battery. The vendor sent the battery in a timely fashion, and I have no complaint about them. However, the battery only has a standby time of less than 2 days. When I recharged my old battery that came with the N-Gage (BL-6C), it had a much longer standby time. The BL-6C is rated at 1070 mAH. I guess a difference of 250 mAH between the BL-5C and the 6C really makes a huge difference. I still use both batteries, and alternate after about a week or 2, so the other battery has a chance to discharge. In retrospect, I think the older battery is performing much better now that it has a chance to discharge from time to time. Check the model of the battery that came with the original phone, and go for the same model. If it were between the 5C and the 6C, I highly recommend the 6C. Don't get the BL-5C. Good luck.

This battery appears to be authentic. It still works great after a few weeks, and it came with a hologram code to authenticate on the Nokia website. Great buy!

I have it for 2 weeks, so far so goodI order it from amazon It took more than two weeks to deliver it but it is original, I checked the serial number with Nokia I am satisfied
