replacement gets a dead pixel after a month of use
this is the second monitor I had of this brand due to a stuck pixel with the first one and a month after getting the replacement a pixel in the middle of the screen dies! this monitor brand is so bad for the price you pay for it. you're just paying for the name

Good gaming monitor but I wouldn’t use it for WFH
It’s really hard to get the right color, brightness and sharpness in the monitor for daily home office use.

MSI Optix MAG270VC2 - Nice but with tons of dead pixels...TWICE
If you're looking for a flawless picture with no dead pixels this monitor is NOT for you. My first one had debris trapped inside the screen, very near center, that was black. I sent this monitor back and the 2nd one has 2 dead pixel areas. The first one is in the upper right towards the center of the screen and the second lower left towards the bezel.
As far as ease of use, install, and display options this monitor is top notch. I like the response time and refresh rate. You can easily adjust various settings to calibrate it and get the clarity you're after. I use it on my gaming PC and XBOX One without issues using an HDMI 2.1 cable.
If it weren't for the dead pixels and debris issues this would be a 5-star product, but I can't help feel that these are rejected panels priced to sell.

My third one!!!
I love this brand, this is my third msi monitor added! Color ratios are nice, the curved display for the price cant be beaten! 1ms response time 165hz is all i need :D Highly recommend!

Picture quality, smooth gameplay, great monitor for price
Ever since i started gaming ive always played on a tv. Ive recently switched to the MSI MAG270VC2 gaming monitor and absolutely love everything about it. The picture is incomparable to a tv and the gameplay is very smooth. The only regret i have is not switching to a gaming monitor sooner.

Good Display with lower resolution
This was my first Curved screen, went from a 24in monitor to this, This curve is fantastic and the display is crisp the reason its not 5 stars is because it has the same resolution as my old monitor(1920x1080) meaning the picture is actually a downgrade because of the increased size. I would 100% buy a curved monitor again but i reccomend looking for one with higher resolution when getting anything bigger than a 24" one.

She’s dark boys
It’s dark, other then that it’s a great monitor.
The overdrive mode causes some issues in some games, but setting it to a normal setting and playing is great. Would recommend, especially if you can get one from a warehouse deal

Great for the price(got it on sale)
Great purchase, picture quality is great, shipped super fast for living in a rural area, 165hz works...I know some have had dead pixels but I fortunately didn't have that issue.

Worth your money
This monitor is very nice. Pretty big 27 in curved runs really smoothly no dead pixels nothing out of the ordinary. It took a few more minutes to set it up but it was good. Great buy for 165hz and 1ms!!! There’s also a feature where u can change some setting on the monitor like FPS racing and other cool settings. Don’t get confused about how to set it up there are Screws at the bottom. They look like they don’t fit but they do. It’s height adjustable and u can lean it forward and backwards and has a turning feature. I’ll show a picture in the future. Great Buy!!!!!

Make sure you check for dead pixels…
Ordered two monitors, they are fantastic but, one then arrived with a dead pixel. I contacted MSI direct and they have a 5 pixel rule and they wouldn’t fix or send a new one so I contacted Amazon and they are replacing.

Puting a port that does not work
I like the monitor works ok.But why would they put a sound port if there was no speakers.Port connections — 1x displayport 1. 2, 1x HDMI 1. 4, 1x dvi, 1x audio combo jack.Reviews says no speakers and I tryed puting a cable nada sound just strange.But no biggy works ok other then that.

Great "mid-range" Monitor
The monitor came in with no issues. Tested for dead pixels and did not find any. The quality is great as it should be for $250 monitor. Its a really bright monitor which makes the blacks kind faded/washed out. I tried to change the monitor settings but it doesn't really help. I tried to change the settings in-game and it made the blacks a little better. Other than the blacks being alittle washed out due to its brightnes0,s its flawless and highly recommend.

Beware of Color Banding
I bought two of these to replace some older monitors that I had that stopped working, and I would love to say this is is a great monitor because there are quite a lot of great things about it. However, there's one significant issue with it that really ruins everything -- color banding. No matter how high the resolution, refresh rate, or response time, everything looks and feels terrible because of the color banding.
I looked online and found other people were having the same issue, but that there was no solution. I contacted their support but they told me I'd have to send it to them to see what the issue was, and that it would take 10-15 days. If I didn't rely so much on having two monitors for my job I'd consider doing that, but at the time that takes I may as well just get new ones from a different brand.
If you're planning on getting a new monitor for yourself at a decent price, stay away from MSI.

Not for games in any way horrible quality don’t buy!
This monitor for the money is not worth it at all, the video quality is horrible, you see every pixel. I know it is not my graphics card or CPU. I run 3660 TI and I7 11k. Gave the monitor to my wife for her crafting computer….
