miele frig
Excellent service, rapid delivery. Product came with instructions, and cost 75% less ordering from Amazon, and install myself (so simple) than calling a repair person. Anyone can save money, and anyone can install a water filter on a miele frigerator.

really
A review a product is essential for other s who are interested is buying it. It does help with the process.But there is a limit. this is an item that I trust anyone who would purchase it knows what it does. Is an in-depth review necessary. Come on Amazon filter it so that reviews apply to a product that could actually benefit from one!!!!

It filters water - probably
Not sure what I can say about a water filter. It fit the hole and did what the one before it did. For all I know the water line doesn't go anywhere near it. Meile fridges are "installed" so I can't see anything.
Water is clear and tastes like water so that's a good sign. -1 star for the price being the same as the Miele website (but no shipping if you can wait 7 days for it to arrive).

Overpriced but works well
I'll grudgingly buy one of these overpriced suckers, but they last a lot longer than the blinking LED in the fridge. I replace mine once a year instead and its just fine (but the city water here is also just fine and doesn't need any real filtering).

The EcoAqua EFF-6025A fits perfectly, for $11.
EcoAqua filter is virtually identical for a fraction of the price.
Given how much Miele charges, I figured I had nothing to lose trying an $11 replacement. the EcoAqua EFF-6025A says on its packaging that it is compatible with Bosch UltraClarity, but doesn't mention Miele. I bought both the Miele and the EcoAqua, just in case the EcoAqua didn't fit. It fit exactly the same as the Miele, and now that is all I buy. I have no idea why there are so many reviews suggesting that it doesn't fit - it fits exactly the same as the original - spend $11 and try it for yourself. Nobody in the house has noticed a difference in taste, which isn't surprising - the filter material is the same.

It works. But so overpriced for what it is.
I hate buying these filters as often as I need to in order to maintain my fridge, so I can't give this 5 stars. But is works as expected. Just way overpriced for what it is and how long (only six months) that it lasts.

This is a need based product/order
We need this filter for our refrigerator. I don't love it, it is really because we need to use this particular filter, nothing more... The ice taste fresh.

Vastly overpriced but does the job
Vastly overpriced but does the job as far as I know. Easy to put in but resetting the refrigerator filter timer is a bit of a pain. This item should really cost no more than $10 but Miele has you over a barrel. I will look into replacing it with an inline filter which can be a lot cheaper and more efficient.
