Great Smart Watch
Honestly I brought this for myself, had it a week and brought 2 more, one for my dad and girlfriend. So much info in a small easy to use watch, use it mainly at the gym and stuff, really good. No gimmicky bits either.

Very limited card acceptability for NFC use in the U.K.
I already have the standard mi band 6 which works well for the price, but purchased the NFC model as well for the additional functionality, as this also comes with Amazon Alexa built in as well. For NFC use in the U.K, only Curve cards are able to be added to the band. Unfortunately, my Curve card is branded as " Samsung Pay " and is not compatible. As a result I had to return the unit back and an immediate refund was provided.

Great for tracking trends and good value.
This costs about the same as buying an oximeter and a pedometer separately. Those functions work great and it tells the time so it's five stars. I don't like wearing a watch and haven't done so for thirty years or so but I find this to be quite comfortable and low profile enough not to be in the way. The strap is basic but a good design, it stays in place and against comfortable. While I'm happy with the standard strap it's good to know there are third party alternatives available, some quite snazzy. The sleep tracker gives good feedback but may not be 100% reliable however it is adequate to keep track of trends. You can use this on its own without the app and if you did I would say it's still good value. Use the app and you get better data readout. I have no idea if anyone can track me with the app or find our health info but that's true of any app I use (is my audio level app listing to me? let's not get paranoid). The app and the watch do other stuff as well like trip the phone camera shutter, display weather reports and so on, I haven't used any of that but it all adds value. I have turned the display brightness to the max and I find that is very clear if a bit bright in subdued light. My one gripe is the app keeps nagging me to enable various permissions on my phone, it may well open a number of other functions but I said no and I meant no, please stop asking! It's a minor gripe however. I think this is a rat product at a very fair price, well done Mi.

Bargain considering everything that it does
I bought this to replace my Honor Band 5 on which the strap broke and which I was finding increasingly difficult to read the display of as I'm getting on a bit.
This came up at £24.99 which was a bargain considering it was from Amazon and not a 3rd party which appear to sometimes send items which are not the item ordered. This was a Band 6 which I received.
The watch is larger than my previous one (though still small) and is comfortable with a nice mechanism for attaching the strap. Charging was fast, taking a couple of hours from dead. I downloaded the app (Mii Fit), but will look at Notify for Mi Band. I was a little concerned by the permissions the app needed to send notifications to be honest. Connection to the band was easy.
The band has a number of watch faces (and tons more via Notify for Mi Band) you can use and it is all customisable. 5 day weather forecast, steps, stress level, SPO2 level, PAI, heart rate, calories burned, distance walker, sleep length and quality, notifications, 30 workouts, events, find my phone, torch (surprisingly effective), alarms, (with snooze), music control, world clocks, stop watch and timers are all present. They all seem to work at least as well as my Honor Band which was comparable to my far more expensive FitBits (which broke quickly).
Battery life after 5 days of significant use (everything turned on, including the things which said they would hammer the battery) is down to 31%. I'm impressed with everything it can do. I can also read most things on the scren without reaching for my glasses.
Certainly recommend over a pricier brand.

Great value for money
This is probably one of the best for the money. The app could do with the ability to add notes to each day, and I don't think these things measure sleep properly. Either that or I really do get virtually no decent sleep!! But heart rate and oxygen measures are accurate when compared to other machines, and it's useful for notifications. Bit bulky, and the metal points where the charger goes are irritating my skin, but it holds charge a long time and recharges fairly fast. Definitely recommend for the price. Good quality and robust.

Long week of battery usage with minor flaws
I came from Apple Watch, considering the pricing point, you probably can upgrade every year with XiaoMi band and get similar features (on the paper).
After turning on all the intensive tracking & measurement, the battery of the band still lasts for about 7-8 days. Accuracy of the tracking is reasonable, although I have not compare them scientifically.
What I love is that I can just wear it all week, and quick charge it for an hour before going to bed at the end of the week. It is light and small, you can forgot about it while wearing it.
The downside is NFC support is limited, SPO2 tracking with band 6 only works on demand rather than continuous. These limitations are not documented clearly.
