Room for a slight improvement.
Reasonably slim - no apparent infringement on my 15-85 lens. Well made. Easy to install / remove and fingertip movement whilst looking through the viewfinder. Colour saturation seems more balanced across the frame when compared with my previous polariser. Sky goes a deep blue but a little to 'royal' for me.

Salve , ho acquistato il marumi dopo un'attenta ricerca sul web , devo dire che è un ottimo polarizzatore ,
provato su un 24 105 l canon ed è stupendo , avendo comperato anche un marumi nd light control-8 , ho provato ad
accoppiare i due filtri sempre su 24 105 , e con molta sorpresa non ho notato nulla di strano , niente vignettatura ,
quindi per tutti coloro che vogliono dei buoni filtri senza spendere una cifra e con la possibilità di sovrapporli ,
io consiglio vivamente questi marumi .

Se vedete il test scentifico il marumi super dhg circular , si posiziona al primo posto insieme al b+w slim ksm mrc , e costa molto meno.

Disappointed
I paid more than I had to for this thinking that it would offer superior performance. However the polarizing effect does not seem to be as good as my much cheaper hoya filter and its low profile makes it difficult to rotate inside the lens hood.

Marumi DHG circular polarising filter
Very slim line polarising filter. I reviewed the choice of filters in this range and this seemed to come out in the top two. Price via Amazon was competitive. I have noticed a big difference in the photos with it's use. Mostly sky/sea scapes. It is important not to make the picture too dark as this can result in a gradation of effect from one side to the other - i.e. rotate filter to maximum effect and then back a bit. The colours are amazing. It should also improve foliage colour.

Having used dozens if not hundreds of PL Filters I can say this is most likely the best one i've tried.
Perfect optical qualities (the best so far) and verry good frame (there a few filter sporting better threads (but also larger and introduce more vignetting). Easy to clean and use. Better than any other filter i've used (including top bw) and incredibly cheap. A must have!

Not cheap but top notch quality
Most folks run to Hoya for all their filters, nothing wrong there as the company makes some fine filters at various price points (avoid the super budget stuff though) But in this case it's worth looking at other makers too.
Marumi are a make I've been using for a few years now, and I've been very pleased with their products overall.
This Polariser isn't cheap, you can hit the usual auction site for bargains (some are ok, some are not) The DHG is the digital high grade range of filters (the super DHG has an additional coating on it to aid cleaning)
At this price you start to get good quality, but without the B+W wallet busting price. This filter outperformed the B+W CPL filters on lenstip's testing, and most other makers too. In the real world it's well made, with a slim frame so vignetting is less of an issue on wider angle lenses.
Rotating the filter is smooth and without any grinding, optical quality is very good with an excellent polarising effect on images.
As a side note a CPL is useful for a few areas in photography
- Removing reflections on non metallic objects, and for effect in Landscape photography (darkening of the sky and increasing contrast)
I tend to use them mostly for removing reflections which can be useful for product photography or items in display glass, but the effect can also be handy for cutting out water reflections too. If it's not metal a CPL will kill reflections with ease.
For scenic work a CPL can be very useful, however I'd resist the temptation to use one all the time, or to always use one "dialled up to the max". When you rotate the filter the effect of polarisation becomes stronger, but there are times when you might not want to use it at it's strongest. In short a very useful filter (I'd buy a step down ring for smaller filter sizes it can get expensive otherwise), though to be used when required and with some caution (with wider angle lenses you get edge darkening with a CPL this is the effect of polarisation not vignetting)
It's also worth noting you do lose some light with a CPL

The results obtained from use of the Marumi DHG Super are outstanding.
The Marumi DHG Super CPL isn't cheap but it really is outstanding regarding performance.
If you are looking for a high end Polariser, it provides a standard I have yet to see rivalled for the price from any other manufacturer.

To summarise the results from the extensive test - I confidently based my choice on them - the Marumi DHG Super CP came joint first (identical results) with the significantly more expensive B+W Slim KSM C-POL MRC 72 mm.

Does what it says on the tin.
I was influenced by reading the CPF comparison on the Lenstip site where this one came top. First CPF I've used myself so nothing to compare it to but I was amazed at how well it kills reflections off water, glass, etc. Doesn't seem to adversly affect IQ but does drop the exposure by about a stop which was expected. Since it's mainly useful in sunny environments this isn't a big problem. I was so impressed I've just ordered another in 58mm

Tenía un polarizador de marca Kenko desde hace 11 años que usé intensamente hasta que por diversas caídas tuve que retirarlo del día a día.
Tras visitar en Lenstip.com (web muy recomendable) y ver su análisis de filtros polarizadores (año 2009 y año 2015), me decanté por este Marumi.
En comparaciones directas con mi viejo filtro, la nitidez es muy buena. El grosor es muy fino, siendo muy apto para usar con angulares. Pero lo que realmente me ha sorprendido es su protección. Le he metido dedazos sucios y las manchas salen con gran facilidad, sin extender la mancha.
Estoy muy contento con la compra, confío en que me dure más de 10 años, y seguiré usándolo siempre que salga a la luz del sol.
Después de usarlo en múltiples ocasiones, suelo encontrarme con el problema de que al ser tan fino no hay agarre suficiente para sacarlo, teniendo que recurrir a usar piezas de goma para mejorar la adherencia de mis dedos. Si tienes dedos grandes (que no es mi caso) puede ser un problema para ti.

Ho acquistato questo filtro nella misura 77mm e dopo un anno di utilizzo con Canon 600D e, principalmente ma non solo, con l'obbiettivo 10-22 per foto paesaggistiche non posso che dirne bene. Costruzione di qualità superiore alla media del mercato. Meccanica di fattura pregevole. Si avvita bene e in maniera veloce, la filettatura è veramente ben realizzata. La ghiera girevole dà soddisfazione, pastosa al punto giusto e non con le sgradevoli sensazioni di ferro contro ferro di polarizzatori di infima qualità. Trattamento ottico di elevata qualità, dopo un anno di strapazzamenti su e giù per mari e monti non ha il minimo accenno di segni, graffi o macchie ostinate e difficili da togliere. La polarizzazione è efficace, mi chiederà chi legge? Beh, rispondo io, è semplicemente spettacolare! Riflessi su superfici metalliche? Nessuno, da quando lo uso. Contrasto? Perfetto anche con alta umidità.
Da prove effettuate da siti specializzati, questo filtro risulta praticamente di pari qualità con filtri di costo e blasone ben superiore, anzi alcuni li surclassa addirittura. E aggiungo, potendo fare un confronto diretto dato che lo possiedo, ha la stessa efficacia di un polarizzatore Lee da montare su portafiltri che costa il triplo.
Per concludere: Non esiste di meglio a questo prezzo, che può sembrare elevato ma in relazione alle qualità intrinseche è invece piuttosto basso. Il packaging (cioè la confezione), di contro, è un po' miserello. Sembra pensato per un supermercato avendo il classico foro superiore per i ganci da scaffale. Meriterebbe una confezione più curata perché è un gioiello tra i polarizzatori.
OBBLIGATORIO SE:
Fotografate paesaggi.
Volete passare dalla foto carina a una degna delle copertine di viaggi.
Un ultima cosa: Provatelo con i paesaggi innevati in una bella giornata di sole invernale...

J'ai acheté cet article pour un voyage dans le sud des états-unis, pour éviter d'avoir des cieux cramés sur mes photos. Je ne suis pas un spécialiste de la photo mais ça a plutôt bien fonctionné, par comparaison avec mes compagnons de voyage qui n'en n'avaient pas. Le revêtement a très bien résisté (pas de rayures) malgré une chute dans du sable (voir si après). Coût d'acquisition non négligeable mais au vu du résultat sur les photos ça valait le coup. J'ai trouvé cependant 2 points négatifs (mais peut-être non spécifiques à ce modèle): la bague que l'on visse sur l'objectif est très fine (bien pour l'encombrement) ce qui la rend difficile à visser à fond. Résultat, elle s'est dévissée une fois après plusieurs manipulations du filtre qui a fini par tomber par terre, heureusement sur un sol meuble (sable, qui s'est incrusté dans les bagues et qui a été difficile à retirer). Après remise en place et un bon serrage elle n'a plus bougé du séjour. Le second point négatif que j'ai trouvé est l'absence de "crans" sur la bague qui fait que la polarisation tourne tout le temps et qu'il n'est pas possible de conserver le même réglage tout au long d'une randonnée quand vous rentrez et ressortez votre appareil. Conclusion: filtre facile à utiliser, efficace avec traitement résistant, mais à bien serrer lors de la mise en place (donc éviter de le démonter toutes les 5 minutes) et réglage à faire en permanence.

Parece buen producto por su calidad conforme a su precio, pero baja mucho la velocidad; a pleno día y con sol dispara a 1/60 - 1/100 y eso es una velocidad muy baja para hacer fotos sin trípode, sobre todo si fotografías a niños o animales, salvo que subas el ISO por encima de los 3200 (algo que no me gusta).
Los colores les resalta bien en cuanto le coges el truco a la posición respecto al sol a la hora de tomar la foto y gradúas bien el cristal. Pero lo he devuelto por el tema de la poca luz que deja entrar

Un prodotto decisamente valido, ben realizzato e decisamente funzionale. La ghiera per la regolazione della polarizzazione è molto fluida, non toglie troppa luminosità e il risultato che rende è decisamente buono, non vignetta. Non posso fare paragoni diretti con altri marchi ma leggendo varie recensioni ho scelto Marumi per la maggior resistenza a graffi e macchie sul vetro rispetto ad altri e ne confermo la resistenza. Lo consiglio? Decisamente sì. Allego un paio di foto-esempio dello stesso scorcio dove si vede la differenza tra averlo montato e non averlo. La leggerissima vignettatura non è data dal filtro ma dall'ottica.

Ho preso questo cpl in quanto avendo un tamron 24-70g2 (diametro 82mm) non potevo sfruttare il vecchio polarizzatore circolare che montavo sui miei fissi. Devo dire che lavora molto bene. Anche a 24mm, a piena polarizzazione con 3/4 di cielo nel taglio, non crea artefatti o zone polarizzate disomogenee. Non l'ho ancora potuto provare per togliere riflessi e "vedere" sott'acqua causa sto katzo di covid19, ma devo dire che per gli altri casi lavora molto bene ma non in maniera eccessiva o pacchiana, diciamo in maniera piuttosto naturale. Rispetto al kenko (quello che montavo sui fissi) è proprio un'altra cosa: polarizzazione 10 volte migliore, senza chiazze strane nel ccielo nessun decadimento di nitidezza, anzi leva in maniera molto naturale la foschia se è una giornata calda o umida e non crea dominanti strane come l'hoya o il mio kenko (lo so, quel kenko è una m€rda di polarizzatore ma per certe cose e in certe situazioni funzionava abbastanza decentemente). In parole povere, è stato come passare da un autobus Co.tra.l (chi è della regione Lazio sa di cosa parlo) ad una Maserati. In più assorbe (ho fatto un test) 1.3 stop di luce, veramente poco sensi ha un corpo macchina come si deve.

Non ho gli strumenti per confrontare questo filtro polarizzatore con i suoi rivali di altre marche, ma ho verificato tramite altri test e sembra uno dei migliori soprattutto in rapporto qualità/prezzo. Nell'uso permette di avere i benefici della polarizzazione senza nessuna controindicazione. La perdita di luminosità non mi sembra eccessiva anche se appare più scuro del filtro che lo ha preceduto. Le foto non presentano aberrazioni né macchie o riflessi. Consigliato.

Acquistato dopo aver letto diverse buone recensioni in rete, l'ho provato finora con grande soddisfazione. Ottima costruzione, leggera ma comunque robusta, il filetto non ha nessuna esitazione nel serraggio e l'accoppiamento è perfetto. La pulizia è semplice e comunque non tende a sporcarsi subito. Al momento non ho notato nessuna dominante di colore. Usato con Nikon D7200 e obiettivo Sigma 17-70.

Testato sul campo funziona come deve funzionare, ovvero è un filtro polarizzatore, ed è visibilmente sensibile come cambiano le tonalità dei colori girando la rotella del filtro. Ovviamente il suo utilizzo comporta un pò luminosità in meno
Il prodotto è di solida costruzione, si avvita bene, la rotella gira in modo adeguato e rimane stabile sulla posizione scelta.
Consigliato se non si vuole spendere un patrimonio

Lo compramos para complementar un objetivo gran angular en fotos de arquitectura, a partir de una comparativa publicada en (...)
No podemos compararlo con otros, pero de momento el resultado es bueno, y no encontramos reducción de nitidez en las fotos u otros artefactos. Sí que ofrece una reducción de 2 puntos de luz, de modo que en algunas circunstancias nos vemos obligados a quitarlo del objetivo. Parece que existen polarizadores con menores reducciones pero con precios mucho más altos.
No podemos compararlo con otros, pero de momento el resultado es bueno, y no encontramos reducción de nitidez en las fotos u otros artefactos. Sí que ofrece una reducción de 2 puntos de luz, de modo que en algunas circunstancias nos vemos obligados a quitarlo del objetivo. Parece que existen polarizadores con menores reducciones pero con precios mucho más altos.
