Pre out is absent. But that can b forgiven. Use the line out.
Network receiver.
Price a little high but this has everything one needs.
Having other stuff.... something is missing which you may need. This one is a complete package. You won't need to change it for 5 yrs. It's future proof and worth paying more.

Took it out out of the box, hooked up my speakers connected to Bluetooth and listening to music in less than 20 minutes. So simple and great sound. Only concern is could be a little more punch when you want it loud, but still is a good purchase.

Solid little Receiver / CD player with great sound. Use with 2 Paradigm book shelf speakers. Mainly use FM tuner / CD / Analog (turntable) / Bluetooth.
Bit pricy but easy to set up and sound it great.

This is an overall excellent receiver with incredible sound. However the support of HEOS is only for various net services like Spotify and Sirius. This unit does not support sending its sound output to Denon speakers via HEOS. That seems like a sad missed opportunity. At this point, it appears not worth the high price tag.

FIRST thing you need to know is that the plethora of buttons on the remote are almost useless except for the ON/OFF and volume. The rest of the buttons are an unreliable way to access the CR612.
SECOND is that the buttons on the FRONT panel are superfluous in that all of these (except the CD drawer open/close) are duplicated on the HEOS app. HEOS stands for Home Entertainment Operating System.
THIRD is that you really must have the HEOS app on your smart phone to access "all" of the M-CR612 features. HEOS on the phone is the only reliable way to access Internet RADIO. Without HEOS (free App and registration) the unit is just a AM/FM radio and CD player.
NOTE: If you disconnect the power (like during a thunderstorm) the internal memory is dumped and your HEOS registration info is dumped. But, you can reload registration in about 40 frustrating minutes or continue only with the HEOS app on your smartphone.
SOUND is good at high volumes, but seems to vary quite a bit when tuned to one of the "TUNEIN" radio stations. CD performance is very good. FM radio seems sensitive enough. My AM radio is just static no matter what I do regarding an AM antenna connection.
Because of the frustration with SETUP and operation w/o a smartphone handy, I would NOT recommend this to a friend unless they are OK with the challenges basic operation presents.

This fits what I'd imagine is a great niche: a) very compact, b) all-in-one receiver + CD player, with all the streaming connections you could want - wifi, bluetooth, heos, wired; c) enough power to drive good speakers, plus a subwoofer connection. Great, right? Except: The first unit Amazon shipped me was bricked - didn't even light up. Amazon and Marantz quickly replaced it (thanks!!). The second unit worked for about five months, then disconnected from all wireless, and then went into an endless initialization loop when I did a soft reset. I took it to a certified Marantz repair center, which found the problem is with a part that's unavailable. Marantz is once again replacing the whole unit. My assessment: This _should_ be an ideal product for an apartment-dweller with a legacy CD collection, but both the hardware and software are too complicated and unreliable for it to be a good choice. Let's hope that the third unit hangs in there a bit longer this time!

El precio es un poco alto para su desempeño
Es un muy buen equipo de sonido para música en internet, CD y para asociarlo mediante Bluetooth a otros dispositivos, la recepción de emisoras en FM es un poco deficiente, pues se debe buscar un punto específico para poder recibir una buena señal.
