This prepaid phone made a great Birthday gift for my mom for her 51st a few weeks ago. She hated her expensive overcharged cell bills each month so switching her over to Tracfone was the smartest decision for her. It is saving her a tremendous amount each month AND she can stay connected with me and my siblings for a low price. She wanted me to review this phone and service for her to share her great experience with it and to reccommend it to everyone :)

At the AT&T store I was told a new battery would cost "around $50" but for under $10 I was able to make my phone like new! Excellent price, shipping and overall service -- thanks!

I figure the price it's too cheap and it may fail, however it's been close to a month now and battery still up running strong. Shipping was fast too.

Dont waste your time & money ordering a used phone. Paid $53.00 total w/shipping & it didnt even last a month. The phone just fell apart.

I bought the original LG Prada (KE850) as a birthday gift my wife last year. It was a very fashionable and stylish looking phone, which my wife (in her early 30s) loves, but the reception and the missing 850Mhz band left something to be desired on the AT&T wireless network, which is reasonable as this phone was never intended for the US market. It would probably work better on T-Mobile US network (since they don't use 850 band). We ended up returning it because of that. Mind you, the software on this phone is very simple and basic, which is perfect for my wife since she hardly text and rarely used anything else.I was excited when the Prada II is announced and it comes with quad-band this time (however, 3G would only work outside of US)! However, I was disappointed as soon as I found out they decided to add a slide-out QWERTY keyboard. Seeing in person (at CES) how much thicker the new phone turned me off. It has gained 40% in thickness (16.8mm versus the older but slimmer 12mm Prada I) and slightly taller than the old phone (quarter inch). The "Ooze" factor of the original Prada phone is gone. This new phone would be a good choice for these who texts often but doesn't want another me-too looking phones. However, for my wife, the weight-gain is a deal-breaker.UPDATE: I did ended up buying this phone for my wife to use on AT&T wireless, as she doesn't have data plan and don't want to pay an extra $30/month, the iPhone doesn't make sense. This works well for her since she only calls and texts, but due to reception and call dropping issues (which might just be AT&T), we are shopping for a new replacement phone.

After having the Prada 1 and liking it, I paid almost $500 for this phone. I went through 3 brand new Prada II phones and they all were defective. The longest use I got from one of them was a couple weeks. I had to pay to ship the phones back and long story short, I ve paid out $30 and have nothing to show for. LG did not want anything to do with US customers, even squaretrade cancelled the warranty when I tried to use it when it broke again. The physical elements of this phone are beautiful, but I would not waste your money, youll wind up spending more send it back. IT freezes all they time, restarts on its own, and eventually it will just not turn back on. Many many people have the same problem but LG will not take responsibility since they werent made here, but yet they market it as an international phone. I never write review but feel that I go so ripped off that I want to prevent anyone from making the same mistake.

I had to charge my phone twice a day to keep it from dying, now I can go 2 to 2 and half days without having to recharge. It's so nice!

The charger never worked. Took it out of the package, plugged it into the wall, and would not draw power. Tried several different outlets. I guess you get what you pay for. I would not recommend buying from this company again. It isnt worth the shipping charge to even return.

This is very pretty but not practical. I found it very difficult to get my phone in and out of this case. There is a pull tab designed to help but this is also very tight. 9 Times out of 10 I spent so long struggling to get my phone out of the case I would miss my call completely and end up calling back. The case is leather so it would stretch eventually but I gave up after about a week and got a sock-style pouch.

Bought this pouch for my wife's LG KP500, but it just doesn't fit, the pouch is miles too tight. I bought one of these for my Samsung Tocco Lite and was extremely pleased with it, so I bought this for the wife, but it's identicle to mine, so it looks like I've ended up with a spare for my phone.

This is a hard to find phone and after misplacing mine, the decision to purchase a spare seems frugal. the bluetooth on this Tracfone is fully functional unlike the Samsung I returned. And the metal coated buttons are much easier to use than other phone's buttons.

I made the switch from a traditional cellular plan to Tracfone and have had no problems. The LG phone has worked very well.

I got the battery after waiting a week and was excited because this is my only phone. I put it in and the battery said it only had one out of three bars, huh? If this was new battery I would not have to charge it the second I got it. Now I will have to wait another week for a replacement, I am so po. Do not but his product.

Love it! After taking my phone for a swim I though I was going to have to buy a new one. Luckly my husband discovered that the phone worked, but only while it was plugged in. So we decided to try a new battery and it worked, saving us over $100!

The LG600G is an excellent phone!Transferring my minutes and phone number from my old TracFone was painless using Tracfone's website, and I didn't have to wait days for the transfer to be complete. It was done just as soon as I was finished on their web page!!Bluetooth works excellent! I easily paired it with my GPS, earpiece, and laptop.I've been using it for a few days now, and have not experienced any dropped calls, always good connections. The camera is very basic, but I already have a camera, and I didn't buy this for the camera.It comes from Tracfone with free double minutes for life, and if you can afford to buy large blocks of minutes, Tracfone usually has good bonus minute deals. So far, with the package I got through HSN, my costs have been less than $0.08 per minute!Everyone I have spoken with over this phone say that my voice is nice and clear. And they sound good to me! All in all, the LG600G from Tracfone has been a very good deal for me!

My AT&T LG cell phone was lacking longevity as far as battery life. I ordered two batteries and found that one was just the same as the original phone battery in duration or talk time, and the second was somewhat better. I had expected a big increase in talk time, but it was not to be. At least the batteries were less expensive than at other sources and its either the phone or me.

This battery is only a little better than the bad battery that came with the phone. The battery has to be recharged every couple of days - not what I expected from a new battery. It said it was new but if so it's a bad product.

Does not keep the phone secure. I assumed the 'pull out tab' would double as a security device to keep the phone from falling out of the case if accidently held upsidedown. This is not the case. The phone was supplied with a screen protector which has a sticker on the outside surface which is impossible to remove and then leaves a horrid sticky stain behind.

Just purchased the phone. I haven't had the phone a month yet. It's easy to add time and am getting offers for addtional minutes. I have no dropped calls and the phone is crystal clear. Well satisfied with the LG600G

This phone is good for basic calls. The screen is great, and it has large buttons on the keypad. However, some of the features may not work in the U.S. The Google browser would not work. This is a 3G phone, but it's 3G will not work in the U.S. This phone was made for the Asian market, but it will work with T-Mobile sim cards. You can get downloads (LG PC Suite), but you may have to go to LG's Asian sites. Games, wallpaper, etc., can be found at [...]. As I said, this is a very good phone as long as you accept it's limitations for use in the U.S.
