I just bought the unit today and I can say I am impressed. We had a Dyson DC14 refurb for 4 years that we were happy with, however, just about everything but the motor needed to be replaced. We would have spent the cost of a mid range vacuum to repair it. We decided to start fresh with the LG since many had said it was very comparable to the Dyson. With the LG being half the cost of the Dyson, it was tempting to switch. The luxurious features like a retractable cord and push button on the handle to switch from carpet to bare floor makes vacuuming a much easier task. It really saves time when you can move from den to kitchen at the push of a button. Our home is mostly carpet, so it's nice to have one that is easy to use. This vac is marvelous on the hard floor. We have tile and laminate flooring and it does both equally well. It also navigates the tight space under the cabinets very well, which beats the Dyson hands down. Our pets love to lay on our area rugs and the Dyson never could vacuum the medium weight rubber backed kitchen and entry rugs without destroying them or lifting them. I LOVE the use of the hose and the attachments for the upholstery, carpeted stairs and walls. The Dyson always tipped over and it was such a pain to even use the hose, I found myself avoiding vacuuming my stairs and saving the things like vacuuming the cobwebs for after I had completed all the vacuuming with the Dyson.Overall, I'd say this in a side by side comparison:Carpet: DysonBare floor: LGCord: LGAttatchments: LGWeight: DysonEmpty chamber: LGCleaning chamber: LGEase of Use: LGTight spaces: LGEdging: LGPicking up pet hair on variety of surfaces: LGArea rugs: LGUse of the hose: LGCleaning carpeted stairs: LGCleaning crevices: LGThe difference between LG Luv200r Vs. The Dyson DC14 would be like driving a loaded Lexus vs. driving a stock Toyota. They are both going to get you from point A to B, but with the nice features on the Lexus and bells and whistles it makes the driving experience much more pleasant. Also, think about it this way, would you buy a stock Toyota for double the price of the loaded Lexus?Only time will tell if the LG will be the real winner in the long run. Our Dyson only made it 4 years and died and at a $400-500 price tag, they are not exactly disposable. We paid $260 for the LG, so as long as it outlasts the Dyson, we will have a true winner. It has a 5 year warranty, so I'm guessing it will make it!

The P990 lg optimus 2x phone so far has worked great, I tested all functions and works as expected. I love it, its speed of response, clarity of your screen and it's a smartphone lacks nothing, since it has all I want from a cellphone. Excellent product.

Had this a little over a year. At first it was great but the hole from the motor part is too small and clogs easily and almost impossible to unclog. The tubes are always clogging and difficult to clean as well. After deciding that this is the worst vaccum ever, today the cord (close to the vacuum not from the oulet) exploded and burned my son's leg.I do not recommend this vacuum cleaner.I have other LG products and love them but not the vacuum cleaner.

For what you pay for this phone it sure isn't the best you can get. The settings don't always save, its slow sometimes, and the screen size isn't that big at all. I would t get this phone again. I sent it back after I had it for about a week.

the good things:small, lightweight, compactkeypad feels good and has a satisfying click to itt9 predictive texting - makes texting very very easy. and fast.voice/audio recorder - kinda random, but it might be useful sometime, i guess.there's a small two part button on the side that you can use to adjust your ringtone volume, or set your phone to vibrate or silent. (instead of having to navigate through a really long menu). if you're in a call, it will adjust the call volume. its very convenient.external display - if you just want to check the time without opening the phone, you can just press a button on the side, and you can see the date, time, signal strength and battery level on the outside screen.the things that annoy me:when you go to your inbox, the sender isn't in the title of text messages - it only shows the date and first few words of the message. really stupid, imo. also, when you get a new text, you can't tell who it's from until you open it.camera is really low qualityother things:the internet access is crippled, so don't expect to check your email from this phone or anything.bluetooth, however, isn't crippled, and was very easy to setup and use (at least with a mac). its especially useful if you plan to take pictures or use the voice recorder, because it doesn't cost any minutes to transfer them to your computer using bluetooth. you can also transfer ringtones this way.battery life seems pretty good, i haven't tested it but it goes down to 2/3 charge after about 2 days, so it could probably last a week on one charge.stuff about tracfone in general:activate your phone over the internet, its much easier than calling them. none of their representatives speak english very well, and the internet activation process is much easier anyway.USE BONUS CODES!! search on the internet for them. i added a 400 min, 365 service days card and got 350 bonus minutes. so with double minutes for life, that comes out to 2 * 400 + 350 = 1150 minutes for 99 dollars = 8.6 cents per minute. which = a good deal.if you're choosing between this and the motorola w376g -(this is all stuff i've read from other reviews on the internet. It is from reputable sources, but i don't actually own the motorola w376g. try googling "pbushx2's weblog" for lots of in-depth phone reviews)in terms of texting:t9 (this phone) > iTAP (motorola). i've heard on the motorola you have to press ok to auto-complete a word, whereas with the lg you just press 0 (space), which is much less awkward. also, i've read that the input is kind of slow/lags on the motorola.call quality:other reviews have said that the sound quality is poor on this phone (especially compared to the motorola), and you people sound like they are far away, or talking through a tunnel. I don't notice this at all, it sounds fine to me. its never dropped a call, and i've always gotten reception. (though i live in LA, so i'm not sure how the reception is out in rural areas)bluetooth and internet:bluetooth is crippled on the motorola, so if you want to transfer pictures, you have to send them to your email, which costs minutes.a lot of people complain about hitting the web browser button by accident with the motorola, and then getting minutes deducted.the button isn't as inconveniently placed on this phone. i've never once hit it by accident.other stuff:i'm pretty sure the motorola has a scroll wheel, which would make navigating the menus much easier, but i'm not certain.the external display on the motorola doesn't show the date and timeso yeah, overall i would say this a better choice than the motorola w376g, and the worth the extra ten dollars.

This is the best vac I have ever used. Including commercial vac's. It's better then the "Dyson animal" vac I had just before purchasing the LG! And at 1/3 the cost! The Dyson 's are all hype. Why anyone would spend $400.00-$500.00 for a Dyson is beyond me(mine was a gift) The LG vac has great suction, moves easily, the cord reel is a very nice option and no bags make this vaac a no brainer.

This product works fine and there's nothing wrong with it. The tools are also perfect for opening up my GD510. However, actually dismantling the phone down to where I could remove the screen was an annoying process.The screen is essentially glued to the phone, so I had to pry and scrape the chunks of glass from my old screen (which was cracked) before it was clean enough for me to attach the new screen. There's nothing else that holds in the screen (you just place it on top of the phone and all it has is a small chip that slips inside), so I added some dabs of glue along the sides of the screen for good measure.Otherwise, it has been about 3 months since I've changed my screen and I haven't had any problems. Between paying for a new phone and spending a few bucks for this screen, I'd say it was worth it.

Updated after 2 years of ownership:The handheld spinning brush tool is a joke for suction now, so I never use it. I have to grease the little plastic wheels on it every few months, which is a huge pain in the rear to do. They squeak and seem to get caught. About a month ago, a small plastic piece that holds the dirt container shut broke off on a routine emptying of the bin. Since then, we've had to duct tape it shut. I think I will be going back to a $70 Bissell because that one has lasted even though it become our garage and car vacuum and we use it like we're trying to break it, yet it still keeps working! For $250, which is what I spent, I expect much higher quality. Luckily there is a 5-year warranty, but I will see how well they do when I call.I spent a lot of time researching vacuums on Amazon and Consumer Reports. Our first buy was a Hoover WindTunnel T-Series that we returned to the store after 3 weeks of use. It was one of the highest rated vacuums on Consumer Reports, but actually performed worse than our $70 Bissell.We've had this one for about two months now and have been happy with its performance. I went out on a limb a little with the LG Kompressor because it had worse ratings on Consumer Reports than the Hoover we just returned; however, I was impressed. My favorite feature is the dirt cup compression. With the other vacuums, I had to empty the cup twice during a whole house vacuum. With this one, I only empty it every three uses and it doesn't make a huge dust cloud because it's all compacted when it's emptied. The easy switch between carpet and hard floors is great and so is the retractable cord.I've never been impressed with vacuums' stair/furniture hand tools. This one is better than the Hoover's, but is about the same as our Bissell in suction. What's great about it is the pivoting joint that makes it easier to handle, but suction is only just OK when using this tool. The other hand tools seem to work great as far as suction, but these hand roller brushes just are never as good as I'd like them to be.Yes, the vacuum is heavier than most others, but the placement of the carrying handle makes it easy to carry upstairs.

What a total piece of crap. This "Vacuum", and I use that term in the loosest possible way, did not last six months. I had to go back to the old one that cost only $100 and it is better. NEVER spend that much on a vacuum. Even if it last 12-18 months if it is only $100-$120 it is a better value than this LG P.O.S.

Sorry to say' ' but this is the only product from Amazon that I have recieved over the years that didn't work. .it was very inexpensive, so I didn't say anything until now. . . but the item was defective. . .

I wanted a phone that I could use both here in the states and internationally. Out of the US it worked fine, however in the US, it's not a good choice. There are many things I like about the phone, but there are too many negatives when using it in the States.Going to have to find something that works better here in the US.

i like it alot so far - wayyy better than Hoover Windtunnel Max it replacedsuction is really really strong through the hose, and obsctructions are easy to remove when causing trouble. it is pretty quiet considering how powerful it is. i like the- retractable cord- nice big wheels / ease of manuerverability- great vacuum strength - thru floor and hose- i just discovered it's carpet height setting can be changed via a few foot taps (vs cranking some awful plastic crap)

I'd been using a Sharp vac for the last 12 years, and I noticed lately that I had to go over the carpet two or three times sometimes to get things up. I replaced the belt on it, and it helped a little but I finally came to the conclusion it just wasn't its old self anymore.The goal in my vacuum search was one that would handle my two Tabbies' and my Australian Shepherd's influence on everything in my house. I'm just not gonna spend five hundred bucks on a Dyson or similar, so I was intrigued when I read good reviews of the LG.After assembling it, I went over the carpet that I had JUST vacuumed with my old machine. I nearly filled the canister on the LG! It picked up so much the old machine had left it was amazing! I took the pet hair attachment brush and went over my sofa, and picked up tons of hair and dirt I couldn't even see!Pros:* Great suction, REALLY gets deep dirt up out of carpet* Pet hair powered-brush attachment is GREAT, perfect for stairs and furniture* On board hose and attachments are handy, with a cool magnetic hose keeper* Retractable 30 ft cord* Can turn beater brush off for hard floors with a button by the power switchCons:* Heavy at 22 lbs* The big canister on the front makes it harder to get underneath low furniture* Loud... the dog DEFINITELY doesn't like this one!* Kind of plasticky overall, looks like it will need extra care with latches/clipsThe balance is definitely toward the positive though, I'm happy with this and I'd buy it again!

This vacuum has pretty good suction and does fairly well with pet hair and my long hair. The brush did need replacing (wouldn't switch from carpet to rug setting) after 7/8 months or so and sending it in for fixing was a bit of a pain. It took me a long time to decide on a vacuum and overall I am ok with this vacuum but I think I have gotten to the point where I hate vacuuming so much that I need something with stronger suction so I can cut the time down. Great service by LG for fixing the vacuum. I think next vacuum I will save to get something in the next price point that will suck better.

Received the charger quickly, but like the other reviews when you plug it in, it says immediately that the charge is complete. Don't order this for the lg vx9800

I am very disappointed with the phone, RB LG VX8500 Chocolate Camera Bluetooth phone 4 Verizon. The censor is so sensitive that when i text it sends the text message when i am actually trying to us the arrows. At Other times the censor does not work at all. The phone also turns the internet on when it is in my pocket which causes me to be charged for internet. When texting, the number buttons stick and cause me to type the wrong letters. I ended up having to buy a different charger for the phone because the original charger shorted out when using it for the first time. The phone has never been dropped or exposed to water. Over all i really hate this phone and want nothing to do with it nor will i ever suggest it to anyone.

This is certainly a fast phone, with lots of Android modding potential.The price is right, and it works great on Tmobiles network.Pros:Speed - it's just fast. Everything.Stable - no crashes ( in first week)Wifi - Wifi N is great."4g"- aka HSPA+ - I'm seeing 10,000 kbps download. Yeah, it's stupid fast.Wifi Calling works well.Sound and call quality is excellentSize - Nice and thin....Screen - nice and bright, works in daylightCons:1.Battery Life- With great speeds comes short battery life-- for the same sort of usage my Nokia Astound would last two or three times as long.2.GPS - The GPS does not seem to work well with the Stock Tmobile Gingerbread ROM, perhaps either CyanogenMod 7 or the Eaglesblood ROMS will fix that issue, or at least let me play with the settings.3. Screen is a little too bright... needs one more dimmer setting for using at night!Note: in theory the GPS and Battery settings are improved with various firmware mods. I'll report what I find here.Update 5/7/2012 -There was a firmware update, 21y, to GB 2.3.4 -- this fixes all GPS issues(same quality as iphone/Nokia Astound)!!!, improves Battery, but reduces max speeds on modem - a tradeoff which is well worth it.

I owned a dyson animal hair vacuum for 6 years. I hated using it because it did Not work. It was a piece of S--T. I called Dyson who sent me to a repair shop. The shop said they see A LOT of Dysons and a lot of people who wish they had never spent that kind of money. Well I hated to get rid of a vac I spent $500 for. I guess I did not want to admit I made a stupid purchase. But finally after my carpet getting dirtier and dirtier I finally had enuff. I researched all kinds of vacs...uprights and canisters. I read all kinds of reviews for and against all the vacs. I was thinking about going with a cheap hoover thqat had reasonable reviews on carpet. But I have half carpet and half hard wood. I finally decided on the LG LuV200R. Damn What a vacuum cleaner. Its a little heavy to get out of the box but once on the floor it moves fairly easily when the hieght adjustment is correct. It has the beaters on/off switch on the handle as well as the power switch. The auto cord retractor is GREAT. My carpet is starting to look clean again. Every time I use this vac I pickup crap the dyson left behind. Dyson is in trouble when people find out about this vac that is 10 times better at half the price. I Have area rugs with fringe that the dyson tried to rip out of the rug. The LG goes over them like a dream nd they dont get stuck in the beaters and it doesnt pull the fringe out to get wrapped around the beaters like the dyson did. I can also vacuum my kitchen and get ALL the dirt up before I mop the floor.I originally was looking for a canister. but the ease of using the extra long hose whenever i want changed my mind.I would buy this vac again and would highly recommend this to anyone. Dyson has been ripping people off for years with all their hype. I'm finally happy that a vac actually does what it is supposed to do. I'm so glad I trashed my dyson!!!!!!!!!!

This is great product if you have animals around....The Pet brush works great...My wife likes the long length of the hose on it which makes it easier to clean the baseboards around the house...It also does a great job of just vacuuming around the house. The only comment is...it is a little heavier than the vacs we have had before but a great product....

The phone went smoothly, brand new, surprised that brought the HDMI cable, but not micro sd card, but that's not important! a telephone sober, elegant, just great! On the other hand the program updated it using LG Mobile Update and I have upgraded to version 2.3.4 gingerbread V20h and battery performance has improved significantly! concerning the performance in terms of networks, it has done very well here in Venezuela with Movistar operator!, Cell Hasslefree people recommend it 100% percent!

This vacuum is amazing. I have a dog and cat which leave a lot of hair and this baby sucks it up. It is on the heavier side but so was my old simplicity vacuum. I love the dusting wand. I wanted one that had everything in board and this does. I think he people that have trouble overheating possibly have the height setting wrong so it is having to work too hard. My only complaint is that amazon has dropped the price $45 dollars since I bought mine.
